With the ebb of the night, deep within the heart of ancient woodland, shrouded by the lofty fronds of colossal ferns that touched the skies. Nestled within this verdant labyrinth, a narrow river, pristine and gurgling, meandered through the dense undergrowth like a silver serpent, its translucent waters flowing with a sense of verve. It was here, in this enchanting oasis, that a spinosaurus made his aquatic realm, an exquisite creature possessing a lustrous coat of blueish scales, reminiscent of the tranquil depths of the ocean.

As the sun's golden glimmers speared through the luxuriant foliage, they hoofed upon the river's rippling surface, creating a mesmerizing drapery of glow and gloom. The spinosaurus, his dandy cerulean eyes glistening with a preternatural fixation, stood sentinel on the riverbank. His long, slender snout dipped into the water, causing crystalline droplets to cascade from his armored hide, each one glimmering like liquid diamonds in the sun's warm embrace.

The streamlet itself was a symphony of sensorial charms. The air was airless with the scent of moist earth and rotting vegetation, mingled with the delicate fragrance of wildflowers that adorned the mossy banks. The gentle murmur of the flowing water serenaded the senses, its soft tune interwoven with the rustling of leaves and the distant calls of unrecognized creatures. It was a peaceful harbor, an oasis of calm amidst the persistent bedlam of the prehistoric world. With a fluid grace that belied his colossal size, the spinosaurus ventured deeper into the brook, his mighty limbs propelling him effortlessly through the cool, swirling currents. The water embraced him, caressing his scaly flanks, as if whispering riddles of the ancient origin. His streamlined form, a masterstroke of evolutionary design, ensured that he cut through the water with minimal resistance, each movement as nimble and calculated as a ballet dancer in flawless consensus with his environment.

The underwater realm was a revelation, a mesmerizing realm teeming with vigor. Sunlight, filtered through the verdant awning above, painted shifting patterns upon the sandy riverbed, casting an ethereal glare upon the aquatic drapery. Delicate aquatic ferns wobbled with the gentle rhythm of the current, their greenish tendrils rippling like the graceful arms of sea nymphs. Shoals of iridescent fish darted amongst the reeds, their scales shimmering like stolen fragments of the paradises.

The spinosaurus, a predator cloaked in the guise of a temperate giant, silently hunted his quarry. He observed the water's depths with rigid fixation, his cerulean eyes like beacons of primal hunger. An orchestration of senses ushered him, honed by millennia of growth. He detected the faintest pulsations, the subtlest changes in the water's flow, allowing him to anticipate the movements of his quarry with almost metaphysical precision. In a heartbeat, the hunt was unleashed. The spinosaurus lunged forward, his rugged jaws gaping wide, revealing an arsenal of serrated teeth—gleaming ivory cutters that spoke of a brutal and archaic might. The water flared in havoc as the fish, snared unaware, scattered in a kaleidoscope of shimmering bodies. But the spinosaurus was a hunter born of forbearance and precision. With a deft flick of his tail, he corralled his quarry, maneuvering them into a writhing, frenzied ballet of survival.

Yet, against the primal might of the spinosaurus, the seized fish stood little chance. With a final, mighty thrash, the fish succumbed, its labors silenced.

Appearing from the water, the spinosaurus contained his bounty triumphantly, the glistening scales of his quarry contrasting against his own magnificent blueish hue. The dawning sunlight jigged upon his form, casting a luminous light that seemed to celebrate his solitary triumph. The moment, though brief, resonated with the ancient cadences of survival.

He retreated to a sheltered area alongside the riverbank, his prize held firmly within his grasp. The embracing foliage furnished a shelter, shielding him from prying eyes as he indulged in the spoils of his unaccompanied hunt. The crunching of bones and the tearing of flesh accompanied the meter of the woodland, an intimate balance of satiation. With each nibble, he fortified himself, replenishing his strength and willpower. The woodland observed in silent reverence, recognizing the indomitable will of this unattended hunter. And as the last sliver vanished, he reclined upon the riverbank, his satisfaction harmonizing with the ancient psalms of the wilderness.

As the sun began to squander it's light around them, the pack of acrocanthosaurus' slowly stirred awake at the first moment it's rays appeared. As it popped into conspicuousness, it lavished the land in exquisite beams of orange, gold, and yellow, indicating all nearby creatures that it was time to rise and initiate their morning routines. The golden sunrise almost always made others wonder how something so magnificent could be just a huge blaze.
~
Pālima groaned as her eyelids slid open, only wanting to go back to bed. Waking up was never something anyone liked, unless they were insane. Normally, you always feel even more exhausted after a long rest. With a guttural rumble, she lifted her large head up, running her tongue over her large, yellow teeth that lined on the middle of her gums. The tips had a slight red hue due to being a carnivorous specimen, one known best as an apex predatorian. A theropod to be exact.
~
Deglutition caused the acrocanthosaurus' saliva that had just begun to inundate her jaws to travel down her pharynx and back down her body. Her nostrils flared as she inhaled in oxygen, and expelled carbon dioxide. Her eyelids were open, revealing beautiful brown pearls, that had a slight hue of ivory in them. Her jaws are clearly strong, and built perfectly for strangling prey. The wrinkles on her neck happened to be where veins permanently resided underneath her thick layer of scales and skin. Her stubby arms had two long claws at the end of each fingertip. Her feet were large, and powerful, and could easily send another apex stumbling to keep it's footing.
~
The booming of the acrocanthosaurus' two paws loudly sounded throughout the plains as she emerged from her den. She gazed out at the magnificent valley, her tail swashing behind her, colliding with the walls of the rocky den behind her. The grass beneath her was layered by small droplets of morning dew because of the rain that happened yesterday. She effortlessly recalled the wonderful sounds that lulled her to sleep.
~
The aroma the plain's wildflowers emitted was pleasant to her, but today it was quite more pleasant due to the aroma of the mist that ascended from the dew, creating a foggy blanket over the plains. Though the fog helped shelter her from the watchful eyes of a pack of deinonychus, loud echoing stomps didn't assist in disguising her position as she trudged towards a rushing river that flowed through the plains, hydrating all creatures that were lucky enough to get a sip without being snagged by the deinosuchus who just moved in nearby. The gurgling of the water rushing down it's riverbed was definitely a soothing sound.
~
Nearby, the deinosuchus adjacent to the water, his tail halfway in, causing the water to run over his jarred tail. His nostrils flared as he inhaled in oxygen, and his lips lifted up to show his large serrated teeth. His eyelids slid over his eyes in a slow, menacing way. Pālima slightly wondered if the light green deino would try and seize her in his jaws and drag her under the gurgling river, making her his next nutriment.
~
Pālima's jaws splashed into the water as she slurped it up. When she needed a break, she'd lift her head up, sending the droplets spilling back down into the water. She repeated this process until she was fully hydrated. A breeze of wind whistled through the long blades of grass that covered the plains in green and hid the brown dirt underneath them. The water splashed up at her feet, soaking half of them that unfortunately got hit by it. She slowly turned her head, snarling at the deinosuchus before leaving. She heard it turn around, it's paws and tail trailing against the ground. She swiveled her head enough to watch it splash into the water, traveling down the rushing river that would soon lead to the neighboring spinosaurus' territory. Fortunately, she never ran into one of the large piscivores.
~
As she trekked back to her den, another gust of air blew through the plains, causing the grass to whistle again as they squandered around. Two nesting birds sang their lovely melody as they flew through the air, and the distant gurgling of the water worked together like a perfectly planned , the only interruption being her loud stomping that ruined the whole thing.
~
In the distance, a lone camarasaurus caused Pālima to drop down into a crouch after she quickly stormed behind a bush. The wind blew to the right, sending both the sauropod's and the theropod's scent away. The tree it was getting nutriment from blew around in the wind, along with the large blades of grass. Preparing her haunches, she let out a small growl, curling her lips up and showing her teeth. A pteranodon was landed atop the sauropod's back, and seemed to be eating something that it found, while also getting some shelter atop the camara.
~
Then, she dove out from the bushes with a roar, charging at the long-necked dinosaur. It bellowed out a surprised roar, attempting to turn and run away. The pteranodon let out a shrill shriek, taking flight and flapping it's wings fast, attempting to fight the gust of strong wind before turning around and swiftly gliding towards the spino's territory, allowing the wind to carry it and give it speed. A lizard duo scampered away, barely missing being crushed underneath Pālima's feet. She let out a gargling roar as she latched onto the camarasaurus' neck, trying to shove it to the ground. A flock of birds flew out of the trees when they woke, fleeing the waking duel between the giants and some abandoning their half-built nests. A smack from the sauropod's tail made her stagger with a roar, accidentally slamming hard against the tree. Leaves and branches plummeted from the tree, smacking against her hard brown scales before rebounding off her and falling to the ground. The shadow of the tree made her look dull, but when she roared and charged out at the camarasaurus, the beams of sunlight ricochetted off her, illuminating her scales. The few branches that managed to lodge on her quickly squandered around from her sudden burst of speed, and the grass spread away from her feet every time she stepped down. Latching on the sauropod's neck, she tackled it to the ground, pinning it with her foot and crushing it's windpipe with her jaws.
~
Everything fell silent expect the sounds of a flailing dinosaur as it slowly suffocated. A line of grass waved around as three deinonychus peered at the now dead dinosaur, wondering if they could sneak in and grab a bite without the apex noticing. A flock of vultures flew overhead, noticing the rarely fresh prey and beginning to swarm the sky around. One decided to dive down and try and get some food, but quickly thought differently when the carnivore snarled. The smell of blood washed away the scent of wildflowers and grass when Pālima began to tear into the dinosaur, ripping chunks of it out and swallowing them whole. A couple of lizards climbed on her when they sighted bugs, and began to eat them off her back. The sky began to look slightly more blue now, only having half the amount if gold it had before.

As Tyranth completed his sumptuous feast, a profound satiety settled within him, ingraining his being with a profound sense of contentment. Rearing his colossal head aloft, he observed his domain with an air of regality. The murmuring brook, threading its way through the verdant landscape, whispered a lament of diminishing abundance. Scattered about, the spinosaurus of his herd luxuriated beneath the morning sun, each occupying their own space, yet still bound by an innate sense of kinship.

With a languid gait, he meandered toward a fellow herd associate, intending to partake in the communal repose. Yet, a distant reverberation, an outlying roar, insinuated its way into the fabric of his perception. A roar unlike any other, its reverberations possessing an uncanny resonance that set it apart from the familiar vocalizations of his ilk. A blend of inquisitiveness and intrigue coiled within Tyranth's heart, propelling him toward the source of this tantalizing enigma.

In a relentless stride, Tyranth plunged deeper into the greenish drapery of the woodland, his inquisitiveness akin to a compass steering his path through the labyrinthine embrace of the wilderness. Above, the verdant canopy painted a mosaic of light and shadow upon the loamy ground beneath, as if nature itself were engaged in an ethereal ballet. Sunbeams, piercing the dense foliage, cast radiant tendrils of warmth amidst the mosaic of shade and illumination. The atmosphere enveloped Tyranth, dense with the earthy aromas of fertile soil, vibrant vegetation, and the ephemeral whispers of decaying arboreal sentinels. Each inhalation infused his nostrils with a symmetry of scents, evoking memories and igniting a cascade of sensations within his consciousness. Every footfall revealed a drapery of existence: the orchestration of unseen insects, the rustle of concealed creatures traversing the undergrowth, and the distant, mellifluous melodies of avian chorales.

Tyranth's senses sharpened, attuned to the minutiae that enveloped him. The supple earth, provoking beneath his formidable weight, offered a tactile response to his every stride. Leaves crumbled and crackled, releasing their woody fragrance as he brushed against them as if the very act of his passage were a reverential tribute to the jungle's ancient grandeur. Occasional droplets plucked from the verdant canopy overhead, fell like celestial tears upon his scaly hide, anointing him with nature's aqueous benediction.

In the distance, the reverberations of the enigmatic roar echoed once more, growing in resonance and clarity. Tyranth, now cognizant of its true nature, discerned it to be the call of a distinct dinosaurian presence. A foreign sonority, both compelling and disconcerting, resonated within his being as if the interloper had brazenly trespassed upon his territory, encroaching upon the very fabric of his pack's dominion. The audacity of such a predator enticed his curiosity further, compelling him to hasten his stride and venture deeper into the sylvan expanse.

The impenetrable verdure gradually gave way to a sunlit clearing, suffused with a soft, ethereal luminescence. The air hung still, stagnant with a sense of anticipation. Tyranth's amber gaze canvassed the surrounding environs, vigilant for any signs of the enigmatic intruder that had breached the boundaries of his pack's sanctuary.

The setting exuded an air of serene ambiance, permeated by a tenuous undercurrent of latent tension. Towering arboreal sentinels stood sentinel, their moss-adorned trunks intertwining in an arboreal tapestry, while emerald tendrils of climbing vines cascaded from their lofty heights. The loamy terrain beneath his feet, adorned with a velvety carpet of decomposing foliage, released an intoxicating earthy aroma with each resolute footfall. Delicate wildflowers, their vibrant hues punctuating the verdant tableau, peered through the verdant undergrowth, their petals an ephemeral celebration of nature's chromatic diversity.

As Tyranth ventured deeper into the woodland, his mind became a tempest of thoughts and conjecture. Who, he pondered, could be the author of such a commanding roar? What creature, audacious and temerarious, would dare to challenge the immutable dominion of the Spinosaurus? His ruminations swirled like the capricious currents of the forest, each possibility birthing a new realm of speculation within the confines of his labyrinthine psyche. With every measured stride, Tyranth's uncertainty burgeoned, his heart echoing the resolute rhythm of the jungle itself. The enigmatic roar metamorphosed into an orchestration of mystery, beckoning him further into the uncharted realms of the unknown. His emotions entwined, a heady amalgamation of excitement and circumspection, as he embraced the notion of an encounter that could potentially redefine his understanding of the world he believed he knew.

At this moment, Tyranth stood poised upon the precipice of revelation, his colossal form bathed in the gentle morning sunlight, as he embarked upon an odyssey that would inexorably shape the trajectory of his adventure. The stage was set, the symphony of the jungle attuned to the crescendo of discovery that awaited him.

The loud and grotesque slurping of the feeding theropod echoed in a small radius around her. Blood inundated her tongue and it stained her teeth. The smell was enough to attract the attention of the invading deinonychus, and they sluggishly crept forward with their frames low beneath the end of the grass. A couple compsognathus squealed as they swiftly hopped forward, making an abrupt stop as the notice of the apex, who was hidden well by the mist. The pteranodon from before was now flying back at the scent of food to scavenge on, it's bright colors illuminated beautifully due to it flying above the blanket of fog that rested on top of the plains.
~
The sun radiated it's golden light; a beam shooting down and illuminating the area around Pālima. It ricochetted off her scales, revealing the specks of bright tan that hid in her dark brown scales. The blood on her mouth was now very visible, staining around her jaws and adding extra terror to the surrounding creatures. A general coincidence seemed to cause them to think she could control the light.
~
A loud, audacious call erupted from her left, sending the pack of deinonychus fleeing as if they were being chased by a horde of tyrannosaurus. They slowly disappeared from the apex's view, scrambling around in the tall grass and causing it to wave around. Another call came from the dinosaurs, now affecting the pteranodon who seems to have decided it was best to leave. The compsognathus were now scrambling away to dive into a rabbit's burrow, sending the rabbit fleeing with long hops as it ran as far away as it could.
~
When the last call came, Pālima turned with her teeth bared. "Niu." She growled, and Ahi emerged from behind him with Nalu and ʻĀlohilohi following closely behind him. "My dear sister," Niu began with a menacing tone in his voice. "what do we have here? You not sharing again?" He snarled and thrusted her away, digging his face into her food and staining his mouth with blood. Anyone who tried to approach was snarled at, or thrown away with brute force. Even the vultures. "Niu." She growled, a warning tone in her voice. "I caught that. One camarasaurus cannot sustain all of us acrocanthosaurus'. I was going to help you catch more later. You know, when you were awake?" She hissed, her teeth bared in a threatening way. "Pālima-" 'Ālohilohi growled, the warning being clear in his tone. "Don't worry, we'll catch you more food later, yeah.?" He gave her a smile, and so did Nalu.
~
Sighing, she shook her head around and turned away, looking in the horizon at the territory of the neighboring apexes. The lush trees of the swampy rainforest had dark green leaves, and the plants that inhabited the area seemed so many you couldn't see if you were inside. Sometimes, the windy days would carry the aroma over the plains, and it was a very nice smell. It smelled like wildflowers, trees, and fungi. It seemed like a lovely place to live; under the shelter of the trees, hearing the loud calling of creatures, and smelling it's aroma all day everyday. It must be a lovely wonderland.
~
A small rumble came from the back of her throat before she began to trudge away from her brothers and sister, disappearing from the beam of light that was now centered around Niu as he greedily munched on the delicacy that she originally caught. She looked away with her eyes closed before opening them again and looking up towards the sky. It's gold was now just a faint hue as the sun had now fully risen and was fully visible in the sky, or would be if it didn't scorch your eyes every time you tried to gaze at it. There were small white clouds littered across the sky, only dark gray ones being faint in the horizon. Rain was to come tonight, it seemed. The plains never had this much rain lately. It was quite pleasant to think about, the dry grass may soon have a more rich green color rather than it's boring pale green and gold colors. It had gotten rather old to see the dry grass and hear it crunching under her feet. She'd much rather feel nice, soft grass, and see it a rich shamrock color.
~
When she was out of her pack's sight, she settled down on the ground, allowing the grass to poke and prick her belly as they were squashed beneath her heavy mass. She ran her large tongue around her jaws, licking away any trace of blood from before. The sweet taste stung her tongue, but to her, it was one to enjoy. Being a predatorian, it affected what she liked and disliked, included her tastes. See, she likes the taste of raw flesh and the sweet aroma of blood, and the sounds of the delicacies tearing as it sent in a wave of nice, meat smells. To her, that brings comfort, and the feeling of safety.

As the sun ascended in the cerulean expanse of the dawning sky, casting its luminous rays upon the awakening landscape, Tyranth emerged from the verdant depths of the forest. His immense form, sinewy and majestic, traversed the terrain with an effortless grace, his every movement a testament to the evolutionary marvel that was the spinosaurus.

The morning air, crisp and invigorating, caressed his scaly hide, carrying with it a symphony of scents. The aroma of damp earth mingled with the delicate perfume of blooming wildflowers, creating an olfactory tableau that danced upon his sensitive nostrils. Dew-kissed leaves shimmered in the soft light, each droplet a miniature prism refracting the sun's golden hues. Tyranth's cerulean eyes, ablaze with a curious intellect, scanned the landscape before him. The meandering brook, its crystal-clear waters a ribbon of liquid silver, beckoned him forward. The babbling melody of the water, interwoven with the chorus of chirping birds, serenaded his senses, captivating him with its tranquil allure.

He trod upon the loamy soil, its textured embrace yielding beneath his weight with a gentle sigh. The emerald carpet of moss, luxuriant and velvety, cushioned his massive feet, each step a silent testament to the intricate web of life that pulsed beneath his formidable presence. Delicate tendrils of ivy, their emerald hues cascading like verdant ribbons, clung tenaciously to the trunks of ancient arboreal sentinels, forging a tapestry that spoke of nature's indomitable resilience.

As Tyranth approached the gurgling brook, its crystalline waters glistened with a mesmerizing clarity. Sunbeams, filtering through the canopy above, danced upon its rippling surface, casting ethereal patterns of light and shadow. The vibrant reflections created a mesmerizing kaleidoscope of colors as if the very essence of the sky had been captured within the flowing currents.

He lowered his colossal head, delicately submerging his elongated snout into the cool embrace of the water. The liquid caress, refreshing and invigorating, revitalized his primal essence. With each languid gulp, he imbued his being with the vital sustenance that would fuel his formidable physique, strengthening his resolve and fortifying his connection to the natural world.

As he quenched his thirst, Tyranth's perceptive gaze surveyed the surrounding domain. The riparian ecosystem teemed with life, a veritable symphony of flora and fauna. Dragonflies, their iridescent wings shimmering with otherworldly hues, flitted above the water's surface, their delicate forms a testament to nature's artistic prowess. Fish, glimmering like shards of liquid silver, darted through the aquatic tapestry, their nimble movements a testament to the dance of survival. But amidst this thriving tableau, Tyranth felt a sense of longing, an unspoken understanding that his pack's existence hinged upon securing sustenance beyond the confines of their shared territory. The once abundant fish that had sustained them were now scarce, their numbers dwindling with each passing day. And so, with a resolute spirit and a heart attuned to the plight of his kin, Tyranth set forth, a lone sentinel amidst the wilderness.

Leaving the tranquil embrace of the brook behind, Tyranth embarked upon a new odyssey, his purpose ignited by the instinctual need to ensure his pack's survival. His massive form wove through the woodland, navigating with the precision of a seasoned hunter. Each step, measured and deliberate, sought to minimize any disruption that might betray his presence to potential prey or rival predators.

As he traversed the uncharted terrain, a symphony of scents enveloped him, each one telling a story of life unfolding in the mosaic of the forest. The earthy musk of decaying leaves mingled with the tantalizing aroma of sun-warmed moss, while the pungent scent of nearby fauna whispered secrets of hidden creatures. With each inhalation, Tyranth honed his senses, assimilating the ever-changing tapestry of olfactory information that guided his journey.

And then, amidst the rustling foliage, a tantalizing aroma wafted upon the breeze. It was a scent that stirred something primal within him, a combination of earthy richness and the sweet tang of flesh. The unmistakable aroma of prey.

Tyranth, his senses now aflame with anticipation, followed the ethereal trail, his every movement shrouded in calculated stealth. Through dense thickets and beneath the verdant canopy, he pursued the elusive fragrance, his heart a rhythmic cadence of anticipation. He embraced the exhilaration that coursed through his veins, the unyielding drive to secure sustenance for his scattered pack.

As the morning sun reached its zenith, casting dappled light upon the forest floor, Tyranth's relentless pursuit brought him to the edge of a small clearing. There, amidst the filtered sunlight, lay his quarry—a fallen beast, its maw bloodied and still. The aroma of fresh kill mingled with the musty scent of decay, creating an intoxicating blend that permeated the air. Though the sight of the lifeless creature stirred a primal hunger within him, Tyranth exercised caution. He knew all too well that the scent of a recent kill could attract other predators, rivals seeking to claim the spoils for themselves. And so, he remained hidden within the underbrush, his cerulean eyes fixed upon the lifeless form before him, patiently awaiting any sign of movement.

Time seemed to stretch in that suspended moment, the world holding its breath in anticipation of the next act in this primal drama. Tyranth, his senses heightened to a razor's edge, remained poised, a testament to his innate cunning and patience. He would claim his share of the spoils, but only when the moment was right.

The sun, now beginning its gradual descent towards the western horizon, cast a warm glow upon the clearing. Shafts of golden light filtered through the dense foliage, lending an ethereal quality to the tableau. Shadows danced upon the forest floor, their rhythmic movements mirroring the ebb and flow of Tyranth's anticipation.

And there, in that delicate balance between light and shadow, Tyranth awaited the opportune moment. The forest whispered its secrets, the wind carrying the symphony of nature's voices as if urging him forward. His instincts, honed through centuries of survival, whispered tales of prudence and caution, reminding him of the delicate equilibrium upon which his pack's existence rested.

In the hushed stillness, a solitary leaf, dislodged by the faintest breath of wind, fluttered gently to the ground. Tyranth's eyes, attuned to the minutest details, fixated upon this subtle movement. It was a sign—a signal that the clearing remained undisturbed, unperturbed by the presence of rival predators or other curious interlopers. With the grace of a shadow, Tyranth emerged from his hidden sanctuary. His massive form, cloaked in shades of green and brown, melded seamlessly with the underbrush, camouflaging him against the vibrant backdrop of the forest. Each step, measured and deliberate, carried him closer to the fallen prey that lay before him, tantalizingly within reach.

As he approached the lifeless creature, a surge of primal energy coursed through his veins. His claws, formidable weapons of nature's design, clicked softly against the forest floor. His elongated snout, adorned with formidable teeth, quivered with anticipation. And his cerulean eyes, ablaze with a hunter's focus, locked onto the bounty that lay before him.

Even if he bode in this domain that was not his own, he snagged the share briskly. Not wanting to attract attention and cause disruption in the undisturbed stillness.

The acrocanthosaurus contently but strenuously cleansed herself off, elucidating her pulchritudinous tawny scales underneath all the soil on her. The seemingly monotonous scales of a female even have their own pulchritude to them, not just the males with their prodigious flamboyant crests. If you looked into her monochromatic mahogany eyes, you'd even see beauty in those. The shine of optimism, and perseverance. The exquisiteness as the sun ricochetted off of them, enlightening them, undercovering the pale, but splendid paprika hue in them. Her acro spine was the color of mocha, and had small stripes of brunette at the top going very slightly down the side of it. Even her brown scales have a decent amount of color when the sun reflects off her.
-[~|~]-
The sun had now satisfactorily risen; the sky was a clear azure with the few of it's puffy white clouds being large. The blanket of fog seemed to be gone now, as all the dew had evaporated and was now preparing to become rain sometime again. The theropod elegantly stood up, preparing to go get some more water from the gurgling river to quench her thirst after that long and difficult hunt. She strode towards the river magnificently, her scales shining and sparkling from the beams of now clear light that enlightened the place to call it daytime. The expanse of the plains was now revealing it's long pointy grass in a verdant hue rather than it's normal yellowish one when the sunlight landed on their stalks. The theropod shook herself off and let out a hiss, but caused the long grass to wave around and prick her sides when they rebounded off her thick armory dinosaur scales.

The predator approached the welcoming silver waters of the rushing brook as it traversed down it's riverbed to head wherever it has been into the territory of the biggest apex predator known; the spinosaurus. It gave her chills thinking a giant full grown spinosaurus could lash out of that gurgling river any time and drag her into it's depths. She dipped her long snout into the water, laying down as she gulped the water down. Each time she lifted her snout, speckles of pearly silver water majestically cascaded from it, splashing back down into the water. It always stays true to it's purpose; hydrating anyone who lapped at the silver water, allowing their jaws to get a little wet when they put them into the water. As she lifted her head up towards the sky, staring at the beautiful blue hue that was once a rhythm, of gold, orange, and red hues. Now, it would all await tonight until it had that color again, at dusk. When most began their rest and fell into a deep sleep. The exquisite beauty of the sky always brought her tranquility.

The birds chirping was blended together as they masked away the sounds of the bugs in the grass behind her. It echoed through the sky as the small finches flew past her, chirping as they headed towards their destination. The smell of the wildflowers and grass was now trying to mask the scent of prey off of her, but that would probably take a bath or a couple days. She swiftly launched herself down into the water, heading into the depths of it as she washed away the aroma of the many scents from the morning. She opened her eyes as water rushed past her, looking around to see fish. Even when the large riverbed was inundated by it's silver water, there seemed to be no fish. Last month, when she'd look down into the water, she'd always see the specks of silver colors as they swam gracefully through the river and followed where the waves commanded as they headed downstream into the verdant biome that was inhabited by many plants, fungi, and creatures. The acro quickly realized that she needed to surface, so she began to kick her hind legs and head towards the shore. She bursted out of the water, sending the silver droplets squandering everywhere around her like a spectacle of pearls. The droplets hit the ground and soaked the dirt that wasn't covered by grass, giving it a dark mocha color aside from the small dots of tan inside the spot where the water didn't hit watered the land.

After she surfaced, the sweet aroma of more blood and meat washed over her, causing her head to swivel into that direction and her pupils dilute into thin stripes, her lips curl up in a snarl. The immediate thought of her siblings hunting something else disgusted her, since she knew Niu can and would eat a whole dreadnoughtus by himself and leave the others to pick the scraps from it's bones. The acrocanthosaurus' legs began to move, vibrating the earth and echoing around her. Her strong legs powerfully forced her heavy mass around wherever she wished, and where she desired was at her sibling's new kill to possibly get some nutriment. The grass poked her feet up to her knees, causing a tickling feeling that bothered her skin, but she continued to move, her tail swaying behind her at each step. The sweet smell of nutriment wasn't maskable by any type of other aroma; always standing out even if a cascade of many scents was poured down onto it. It was the one that comforted her as it reminded her of the times she and her siblings were young, and relied on their mother for their nutriment. Her keen eyes distantly spotted the body of a dinosaur, but it also spotted a large sail of a spinosaurus who picked away at it. She let out a snarl before letting out her gurgling roar, alerting the creature of her position. She continued to make her dominant calls as she approached the majestic piscivore, his elongated snout covered in the blood of what seemed to be a hadrosaur. "Who are you? Explain why you are hunting on my pack's territory, or I will kill you." She hissed, lowering herself to the ground and digging her large claws into the ground as she observed her foe.

The creature seemed to be much larger than her even if you didn't count his magnificent sail that was placed on his back. His elongated snout had large teeth inside; ones that looked sharp enough to sink through even the toughest skin. His arms had large claws for shredding through prey and enemies. His feet looked much bigger than hers, so he could probably send her flying if he wanted to. This piscivore was much bigger than her altogether. He was also incredibly handsome. He smelled like... plants. Lots and lots of different plants and fish. The scents blended together wonderfully, and it made her wonder how many plants are in that rainforest. Though she can't be distracted on it; she has a ginormous spinosaurus standing in front of her. "Why did you even hunt on our land? You must have plenty of fish to consume in your rainforest." She snarled, opening her jaws slightly and revealing her serrated teeth inside. Her tail waved behind her, brushing the grass and causing it to wave around. Angling her eyes, she saw the rainforest area was very close. The sun rose behind the rainforest area, and was still mainly above it, causing it to cast a large shadow onto the plains as if it thought it was greater than it. Another growl came from her throat and she turned back to the spinosaurus. The verdant tips of the grass blades reached up to her knees, and it seemed to reach slightly below his knees, which proved her thoughts that he was larger than her in height, which also meant he had a heavier mass than her, which also meant that she would be at a great disadvantage if the two clashed. Though, hopefully she could intimidate him enough to ward him away and also get her a nice meal.
