I like it :D My problem with kumara is that it's so completely overused here >.> Like I get it's native to NZ but that doesn't mean kumara has to be in everything (to be fair they do grow very well here for obvious reasons) Good durian is extremely bitter. It's meant to be enjoyable but for me with my uneasy stomach I enjoy it to the point where I throw up because of how bitter it is lmao I don't exactly know why being extremely (like extremely) bitter is meant to be good and how it's happened like that but a good durian is insanely bitter. Sweet durians are ones that are considered "substandard" but then I don't entirely know why ... the sweet durians probably all got exported to the western countries if I'm being honest lol And that's quite interesting about the street. I mean it's not like you get that in many places, interesting lol (let's see how long this is e.e) |

| Boeing Join the club!! Best club to be in. It's pretty small but there's like.. Three of them on the same street? Super narrow aisles so it's PACKED from floor to ceiling - the fruit extends out into the street in crates and boxes and is all open air - bit like a mix being a shop and a market. Had to look up kumara, but it has piles and piles of sweet potato LMAO - like three different colours too! Oh god damn, that is impressive. I've heard of that before but I'm still so curious about how it tastes LMAO The street is pretty central, so we have a lot of international shops. A lotta different cultures packed in here, hence all the exotic fruits! :0 |

| ET That's absolutely crazy for a fruit and vege shop :o Is it like small-ish or a really big one? Because well it's already extremely surprising that it has all these fruits for that price (as long as it doesn't sell kumara) Durians are banned in a lot of places because they are heavy and the shell is versatile enough to knock someone out lol plus it stinks to hell and back, like literally the stench is crazy You always know when a store has durian because of the stench lol |
