"How'd you end up here?"

The hooded person asked, tilting their head a bit before shrugging before you could respond.

"Well, no matter. Stay and look around if you'd like, but If want the way out then take the trail to your right."

They gestured lazily around the clearing, numerous small shops set up with different signs and gadgets before burying themselves back into their book. More ravens began to perch on the antlers from their head, all staring at you with unhidden curiosity.

"Ring the bell if you need anything."

While you can see numerous shop stands in the clearing, many look abandoned. All the open shops are run by similarly cloaked figures with hidden features, lit by lanterns sitting on the counter and fairy lights strung up over their heads similar to the ones looping on various branches to make a weird glowing canopy in the general area

- Mitzy's Emporium -

A stand with a blue roof catches your attention. Upon closer inspection, a sign in glowing white letters reads "Mitzy's Emporium" and an assortment of bags and general items lay before you. Behind the counter is a hooded figure tapping the table with long clawed fingers in a bored fashion, staring at you with curiosity

Tiny Pouch - Holds 3 items - 5 mush

Plastic Shopping Bag - Holds 6 items - 10 mush

Burlup Sack - Holds 9 items - 15 mush

Reusable Bag - Holds 12 items - 20 mush

Backpack - Holds 15 items - 25 mush

Camera - Allows you to come back to a path later - 10 mush

Mini telescope - Scout out far distances or see faraway animals / items - 5 mush

Container - holds food and trinkets you find along the trail - 20 mush

A stand with a red colored roof attracts your attention. Walking up to it, there is a small wooden tablet resting against one of the poles with the words "Rabbit run" scrawled on it in messy handwriting. The hooded figure manning it smiles at you and offers a wave, before silently beckoning to their wares. They stand well over your height.

A stand with a pink roof catches your attention. Walking over, a hand enthusiastically waves towards you, beckoning closer. The hooded figure has a beautiful pen in their hand and a stack of square paper next to them. A stone slate has engravings on them, listing what they offer and the prices. White colored wings protrude from their back, the difference between bone and feather hard to make out.

- T R A I L S -

An assortment of pathways lay behind the first hooded figure you encountered, the entity in question still enamored by their book, but glancing up every now and then to see if you need anything. A wooden sign hangs from a branch nearby, listing what you assume are the trails

- Northern Trail -

The trail has brambles growing around it in a dangerous fashion, however you are able to make out a clear pathway big enough for you to safety walk through. The path looks well defined, like it isn't walked through often

- Eastern Trail -

The trail has trees growing all around it, like a traditional forest. It certainly looks friendlier than the other trails, and you think you can make out some birds singing in the distance. The path looks worn, like many have walked through this path

- Southern Trail -

The trail is hidden beneath a layer of clovers, however you can still make out the dirt below the carpet of bright emerald greenery. It looks like it leads to more flowers, possibly a flower field, and the path looks carefully stepped on, like past people have taken care to trample as few flowers as possible

- Western Trail -

The trail is completely taken over by a thick layer of fog. You can only see about a few meters or so, and no animals can be heard at all. Curious eyes gaze at you from some bushes, though none are hostile. The path looks rather pristine, like few have dared to walk through the area

the total is correct! Send after explore is done and you have received your rabbit :)

You speak to Mitzy and Evan to get your desired items before placing what you can inside of the backpack and carrying the basket in the other hand. You head back over to Miller with a filled out form. They look up from their book once more before spotting the form and reach out a hand to grab it. You hand it to them, and after a moment they seem satisfied and beckon you to follow them towards the western trail. The fog is thicker today, but Miller offers a lantern to you if you'd like to use it.

A) take the lantern but turn it off

B) take the lantern and keep it on

C) don't take the lantern

D) free answer :)

I thank Miller for the kind offer and take the lantern. Glancing into the rolling mist on the western trail, I decide to keep it on for now just in case and carefully step into the fog.

Miller nods, seeming to appreciate it before waving and letting you be so they can return to their book. Entering into the fog, the visibility is a little better thanks to the lantern, though it's still a little hard to make out certain things. In the distance you can make out the faint glow of what you assume are fireflies, but pause when you squint and can see faint footprints to your right, a little off of the path. The area is otherwise quiet, but you can feel something curious watching you.

A) Walk towards the fireflies

B) Investigate the footprints - You can double back here and instigate othet options if they don't catch your interest

C) See if you can find the source of the being watched feeling

D) Free answer :)
