Heyllo <3 I recently found out my ancestry is based very often around where the vikings were, and I've always loved Norse mythology so it gave me an idea. Like always. I know some people will make a smaller society based on say, medieval times and will kind of just live there. Obviously they take breaks if they need to go to the hospital and those sort of situations but I thought maybe it'd be a fun idea for a roleplay ? What if our characters were from modern times but wanted to go back and see what it would've been like as close as possible with what we have now? Or, we could simply do one based on the vikings themselves in a sort of slice of life way, just going through their normal lives with a bit of fun along the way ? This poll is not for the plot. This is to see how many people would be interested in what or just interested in general. And if you're willing, to see who would be up for helping create the plot with me ^^ What do y'all think? what if you did vikings but played into the mythology of it? that way there could be some more avenues to go ^^ you could also do something kind of on the verge of fantasy with it staying more realistic with the possibility of it leaning more into that or eluding to it? |

@Bruiser, I was thinking there would be an option for you to be a seer/seeress, because they were very much part of it all ^^ That way, if you pick that role, you can be focusing on the fantasy and mythology bit of it while people who don't want that can be warriors, apprentices, farmers, etc. Their mythology is absolutely part of it and there's more roles that would involve more focus on it of course but that's what I was thinking of going with because some people don't prefer the fantasy side but some do. I love mythology so I'm gonna be super into the mythology and magic side of it though *^* |
