I made the blush wing one. (After some difficulty)

So all I'd have to do realistically is just turn them brown. If I don't decide to try and redo some of the poses.

After seeing a bunch of the same questions over and over, I've decided to make this handy little guide. With pictures!! Hopefully this helps a lot of you~

Table of Contents:

1. Game Guide, FAQ, Rules, Chatbox (you are here)
2. How do I...?
3. What is...?

Game Guide, FAQ, Rules, Chatbox

First of all: Read the Game Guide and FAQs! There is a lot of info there, I know. But it is all good info. A lot of questions can be answered there.

Also, chatbox has its own rules, which are linked under the chat button. Be sure to read these too, if you plan to use the chatbox. You can get a timeout from chat if you don't follow the rules.

Also, do you see that link that says "View Sales". That's how you get to Sales Chat. All ads, pricing questions, giveaways, etc belong over there! It's even a different colored background.

If you are confused and have further questions, you may review the list of guides or contact moderators, all located at the page here

There is also a "Help Me" section located at the bottom of every page that also lists WP staff members. This can also be accessed via the Help tab

Credits to Tall Oaks Pack for making this wonderful guide!
(Some of the screenshots are from Aku due to some mild hijacking)

How do I....?

(Ctrl+F)
1 - get more wolves
2 - breed my wolves
3 - free range a wolf
4 - heal my wolves
5 - breed to another pack's wolf
6 - use Chinese Pottery
7 - use Bronze Figurine
8 - change my flag colors
9 - change my pack bio
10 - change my allegiance
11 - change my pack name
12 - change my avatar
13 - buy apples
14 - find that last relic piece
15 - get more den/relic/food spaces
16 - make a link in chat
17 - play the Full Moon Celebration Games
18 - use a greenhouse
19 - play with my wolves

1) How do I get more wolves?
You can find a lot of wolves for sale by heading to Realm > Trading Post.

Select "For Sale". For the cheapest wolves, change "Sort by Price" to "Lowest to Highest". It may be more helpful to purchase wolves that have their Battle and Resolve filled.

You can also get more wolves via breeding.

2) How do I breed my wolves?
First, only your alpha pair can breed within your pack. All other wolves must be bred to a wolf outside your pack. To breed your alphas, select one and scroll down to the bottom of the page.

Select "manage your wolf" and it gives you many options. Then you select breed! If this is a non-alpha, that same link is how you put your wolf up for breeding outside your pack.

3) How do I free range a wolf?
Free Ranging is a wolf leaving the game. If you want to have a wolf leave, go to its page and scroll down toward the bottom.

Select "manage your wolf", then leave pack. Click the check box and hit the submit button.

WARNING: Wolves that leave the game cannot be brought back unless you were the one to breed that wolf. Then you have 24 hrs to retrieve the wolf from Free Range. (This can be done under Pack>Account, down at the bottom. It costs 20 mush.)

4) How do I heal my wolves?
Wolves heal on their own over time, healing some amount, which depends on your pack happiness, each hour. You can also buy a health potion under Realm>Marketplace>Barter. To use it, go to the wolf's page and scroll down to the bottom.

Select "manage your wolf", then select "use item". The health potion will appear there. Select "use".

5) How do I breed to another pack's wolf?
You can find wolves up for breeding under Realm>Trading Post.

There, you'll see a bunch of options.

Select the "for breeding" and then arrange by lowest to highest price. You can also select by gender and affinity.

WARNING: If you breed your male to an outside female, the pups will stay with the mom. So unless you've made an arrangement with the female's owner, you won't get the pups.

Once you find the wolf you'd like to breed to, select that wolf and you'll go to its page. There, you'll see the option to breed to it under the picture.

6) How do I use Chinese Pottery?
Chinese Pottery gives you 20 extra explore moves and you can use it at the bottom of your explore page.

7) How do I use Bronze Figurine?
Bronze Figurines give 20 extra CP. Scroll down to the bottom of your den page to use it.

8) How do I change my flag colors in chat?
Go to your account page.

You'll see the option about halfway down the page.

9) How do I change my pack bio?
Go to your account page.

You'll see the option about halfway down the page.

10) How do I change my allegiance?
Head to Realm > Barter > Apples. The Glacial Ice (10 apples) allows you to change allegiances.

11) How do I change my pack name?
Go to your account page.

You'll see the option about 1/3rd of the way down the page.

You can only change this once every 30 days. To change it before the 30 day wait period, purchase a "Change Pack Name" in Realm > Barter > Apples.

12) How do I change my avatar?
Go to your account page.

You'll see the option near the bottom of the page. Be sure to read the crediting rules linked there.

13) How do I buy apples?
Realm>Marketplace>Barter.

Then select the apples button. You buy apples with real money.
OR you can buy them from other users either in the barter, sales chat or here on the forums in the Trading Post section.

14) How do I find that last relic piece I need?
You can search market dens under Realm>Marketplace>Barter and then select the search button!

15) How do I get more den/relic/food spaces?
Expansions for den/relics/food/memorial garden can all be bought with apples. Go to Realm>Marketplace>Barter, then click Apples.

16) How do I make a link in chat?
Copy the page URL you want to link, then paste the link into chat. It will automatically turn into a link.

Make sure there is a space between your link and any other words to prevent the link from breaking.

Also note that posting too many links or too long of a link will result in the chat "breaking", where you can no longer see the website. This is only a glitch, and after a number of posts (moderators and users will often spam the broken post away), the glitch will disappear and you can use your chat as normal.

17) How do I play the Full Moon Celebration Games?
You can find the Full moon Celebration in Realm > Games. These can be played to earn apples or mushrooms.

The Full Moon Celebration (aka the FMC) occurs on the fifth day of every month and ends on the tenth day of the month. This is the only time where these competitions can be accessed.

It is highly recommended you explore a lot during these games in order to have a chance at winning, as many players will purchase and use thousands of explore moves at a time. (You can purchase more explore moves in Realm > Marketplace > Barter.)

18) How do I use a greenhouse?
First, you must have a premium account.
If you have a premium account, head to Pack > Pack Activities > Herb Garden. From there, if you have seeds, you can grow a number of herbs.

19) How do I play with my wolves?
There are two versions of "playing" with your wolves. One is Pack Life, the other is a Premium Feature.

To access the Pack Life game, head to Realm > Games.
To access the Premium feature, make sure your wolf completes explore and does not leave due to hunger/thirst/low health. Once your explore session finishes, head to their page to play with them. Successful playing allows your wolves to gain Play Points. Gaining 25 play points allows you to redeem CP for your wolves.

What is...?

1 - a brindle/speckled/piebald pup?
2 - CP?
3 - a hero wolf?
4 - a "fig"?
5 - a bone flute/bead/jug/etc used for?
6 - an Alliance?
....
7 - How do I make an Alliance?
8 - How do I join someone else's Alliance?
9 - Why are my alliances fighting each other? / How do I choose a battle?
10 - I fought and won. Why isn't our battles won count going up?
11 - Can I leave an alliance?
12 - Why should I donate to my alliance? / Does the alliance owner get all that mush?
13 - I have strong wolves... why didn't I win that alliance fight?

1 - What is a brindle/speckled/piebald pup?
Brindle, speckle, and piebald are all markings. You can see if a wolf has the marking in the box labeled "Pelt Color"

This wolf has the brindle marking and has the speckle marking too, but since the color is "none", you don't see any speckles.
To get any marking, at least one parent must have the marking you're breeding for. Two piebald wolves will not have a brindle pup unless one of them has brindle as well. :D

2 - What is CP?
CP is Character Points. You get some each day (30 for basic accounts, 40 for premium) and you put them on your wolves to make them better hunters and explorers.

It's recommended to put your points in Battle/Resolve/Agility first, then move into things like Wisdom/Perception/Luck. There's a list in the Game Guide on what each attribute does. For more information on CP stacking, you can visit this guide here.

3 - What is a hero wolf?
A hero wolf is a wolf with all positive vitals.
Head to your wolf's page and scroll to the bottom where it says "Vitals". A wolf who's Flood, Earthquake, Hurricane, and Blizzard ratings all have a "+" in front is considered a hero wolf.

4 - What is a "fig"?
Figs are Bronze Figurines. They're often referred to as figs in chat.

5 - What is a bone flute/bead/jug/etc used for?
There's an easy way to see what an item does. Check the second line.
Relic pieces say things like "1 of 3".

These are then combined once you have all the pieces under Relics>Craft.

Usable items will say what they grant you.

Like this health potion will heal a wolf.

And this turtle is a pup toy.

Unusable items will just have a description in the second line.

Like these items. These are just for selling to Montak.

Alliances

6 - What is an Alliance?
Alliances are a new feature where players can join together and battle other alliances for fun. If you win an alliance battle (until the opponent alliance is at 0), you gain 25 mushrooms. You can gain a maximum of 75 per day.

7 - How do I make an Alliance?
To make an alliance, you must have a premium membership.
Go to Pack>Pack Activities>Manage Alliance.

After creating your alliance, you have the option to add a picture, and turn applications on and off. You can also invite people to your alliance on this page.

8 - How do I join someone else's Alliance?
Go to Gathering>Alliances

This page shows all the current alliances. Browse through and find one you like. If it's open to applications and you meet the dominance requirements, you'll see the option to join on that page.

9 - Why are my alliances fighting each other? / How do I choose a battle?
Alliance battles are random. Every 30 mins, alliances that are not currently in a battle are randomly pitted against one another. This means that you might fight the same alliance a few times in a row.

10 - I fought and won. Why isn't our battles won count going up?
Because an alliance battle is made up of many players' moves. There is a tally on the alliance page.

An alliance battle doesn't end until one team gets to 100 and the other to 0. Then the battle ends and the battles won count will go up at the bottom of the hour.

11 - Can I leave an alliance?
Yes. The option is on the alliance page.

12 - Why should I donate to my alliance? / Does the alliance owner get all that mush?
No. Mush donated to an alliance is not given to the owner. The mush increases your alliance's strength. The alliance with the higher strength in a battle gets a 15 point boost in their fights.

13 - I have strong wolves... why didn't I win that alliance fight?
Alliance battles are figured by dominance totals. If your wolves aren't very dominant, they may not win. Raise their dominance to have better chances of winning for your alliance!

You can only howl at the moon, and participate in the other FMC events, during the 5th-9th of every month.

How do I send photos from something I took into the game so others can see it? Like doing adoptables where you draw some pics and send it on the message board.
