I don't know why I chose this as the title, but I did, and I like it.
It's been a rough year for the Rose Valley Herd, mostly because, well, they weren't meant to be wild horses, but here they are. Recently a fire drove the horses out of their cushy stables and into the wild unknown that surrounded the Rose Valley Estate. Unfortunately, because their owner was away at the time, and would be gone for months, the horses had no choice but to flee, otherwise no one would get there in time.
At first they thought they would just remain on the property, and just wouldn't have the shelter of their stables. However, the fire continued grow, eventually consuming much of their home in the process. Scared and with no where to go, they traveled into the nearby wilderness, taking up residence in the expanse of rolling hills and grasslands.
It's been a couple of months since then, and while things haven't been great, they've managed to survive. Their new found freedom might come with a plethora of threats, but several of the horses find themselves questioning whether or not they want to go back when the time comes.
To make matters more interesting, a herd of mustangs has ventured back into the area, unaware that their normal territory is currently occupied by someone else. The two groups will have to decide what the future holds for them, both as a herd and individually.

The Roleplay Rules
Follow all of Eve's and WPs Rules
1. Be Active. I wont expect more than a post every couple of days, or twice a week. But don't just ghost the Rp.
2. Reservations will last 3 Days from the Time you Request Them.
3. Maximum 4 Character to Start, though this Might Change with time.
4. No Orphaned Foals or Yearlings in the Rp. You must find a Mother for them Before you Make them.
5. The Owned Horses can be any breed, whereas the Wild Horses are only Mustangs. So I shouldn't see any drafts, friesians, arabians, etc in the Wild Herd.
6. The Rose Valley Herd doesn't know what started the fire, or why no one has come for them yet. I do, but they do not.
7. The Rose Valley Herd are not going to be super experienced with the wild like the other herd is, so they're going to struggle in challenges, against predators, etc.
8. When I check forms, I check Images first, so if I tell you to fix your images, this doesn't automatically mean your accepted. Please put the duplicate number in your form, but hide it.
9. Stock Images and Artwork are allowed to be used alongside Description Appearances, HOWEVER, you Must follow WP's Rules to Use Images.

Born to the mountains, Nisa is a very short but hardy mare, her stout physique giving her the ability to not only traverse the difficult terrain but also tolerate the severe weather of her natal territory. Standing at barely, on a good day, 14.1 hh isn't really built entirely for speed or strength. She can keep up with the other, taller horses, and her hooves absolutely pack a bunch when you're on the wrong side of them, but she isn't going to be a victor in racing or fighting often. Which leaves the short mare in a precarious position considering she currently lacks a herd to protect her.
The sturdy mare has a denser coat that is shorter in the warmer months and down right fluffy during the cold ones. Her tail is quite long, the tips of it almost reaching down to drag across the ground, whereas her main is a bit shorter, though she has a prominent forelock to it. Her coat is entirely black, with the only exception being the white blaze that takes up have of her face and leads to her pink nose, and the singular white sock she has on her left hind leg. Her hooves are a dark greyish-brown color, and her eyes are a similar color, though darker and richer.

Nisa might be a small mare, but don't tell her that, she's got more than enough attitude to make up for her lack of size. The fiesty little mare is opinionated and not afraid to state how she feels, regardless what situation she might be in. It never occurs to her that she might need to hold her tongue to keep herself out of trouble. Now, while she might physically rely on others to protect her, don't think she isn't going to try and handle her own shit. She will kick and bite with the best of them, and use her words to inflict damage when needed. She's a sassy little lass, many assume she's the way she is because she's so short which means she closer to hell.
Now Nisa is quite stubborn, not the type to back down from something if it's what she wants. She is, however, a friendly mare, someone who could be considered social. Conversation comes naturally to the female, something others might take notice of when around her. She will approach others and speak to them openly, able to be quite friendly. She is a spunky mare, but she isn't needlessly aggressive either. She really only becomes that way when threatened or challenged, but at the end of the day Nisa is a more friendly mare than not.
If there is one thing true to Nisa's nature is that she is a very dedicated, attentive, and driven mother. She always puts her foals and yearlings needs and wants above her own, and would happy throw herself in front of danger for them. As long as she stands in the way, no harm will come to her offspring.

Delphine is a stout Haflinger mare. Standing at 15 hh exactly she isn't very tall, though she isn't the shortest either. She has a sturdy and thick build, and seems to be built to be able to withstand the difficult elements of the mountains. She has a rounder belly due to her thicker build, but also having already had several foals over the past few years. She has thick muscling for both her legs, which means she packs quite the powerful kick or paw when needed. This means she isn't built for speed, and while she isn't the tallest and most powerful horse, she can still pack quite a dangerous and painful punch.
The mare has a dark palomino coat, something rich in color with a distinct blonde-red hue. Her legs have cream colored socks on all four legs, with little tufts of fur on them all. On her face is a thick white blaze that disappears into her forelock and ends at her grey nose. Her mane and tail are both long and thick, their color a pale cream color. Her eyes are a dark cinnamon brown color, and are very warm and welcoming to others.
