Orsion Lewis
Age - 23 Gender - Male Orientation - Ace Ability - Aquakinetics --- APPEARANCE: Orion's appearance is fair. He has a good height of six foot and two inches with broad shoulders and sun-kissed skin from days out in the sun. He trained as a warrior in his youth and has done his fair share of battles--as such, he bears more than a few scars over his arms and shoulders with one that crosses from above his eyebrow and the bridge of his nose. His eyes are a pleasant jade green color with his soft and gentle blonde hair tying the whole look together. More often than not, he wears simple clothing with a letterman's jacket over it. The jacket is a lighter blue, his high school colors but no letter on it. Orsion tends to wear more slack-like pants and saddleback shoes. ----- PERSONALITY: He is the type of guy to complain, to sass and to throw shade but to absolutely break down in the right moments.
This guy has a sort of playboy nature at first, with a dashing smile, a flirty grin and that dangerously mischevious look in his eyes. He's the type of guy to absolutely play around with no real thoughts in his head for a while until he actually has to think.
Or... so it appears.
Under the 'lol I'm kind of an idiot' mask, you'll find the inner brains are a massive mess of gears and wheels. His thoughts are a wild turn of keeping track of everything and anything. Everyone's emotions are kept track of, body language, the way they say things, the way they react. The things they say. Lewis keeps track of it and makes a mental note of it for later. He keeps track of them to either utilize later or ignore (or possibly blackmail, should the occasion arise).
Orsion remembers quite a few things--most of them random--but some of them are important. He notices who likes the center stage of attention, who doesn't and who doesn't care. Most of what he says and does is carefully crafted into the image he wants to portray.
Each image is crafted to get what he wants. That is the ultimate goal is to get what he wants. He will use whatever it takes to get to that goal and still look like the "good guy" in the end. ---- OTHER: He's looking to major in business, just to get that out of the way and have something under his belt.

Deverick ("Dev") Meridan Age - 22 ~ Deverick has brown hair, brown eyes and an angular jaw. He stands at 5'10", and generally holds himself up straight as much as he can. Dev is also built on more of the skinnier side of things. He may really be considered underweight compared to everyone else, but this isn't exactly apparent when you come to meet him. Not nerdy looking, but not the kind of person you'd see walking down the corridor bare-chested for the heck of it. Somewhat unremarkable, even though he can do things. ~ Deverick is... a bit of an interesting character, if one was being honest. Mildly possessive of some things that are his, and the kind of person to just stick to the sidelines. Stay out of trouble, out of sight. Usually, he attempts to be social, but, well, he's an introvert. He tries to be, but sometimes it just doesn't work. He's also that type of guy to be in the middle. Academically? Yeah, he can do well. But he's unremarkable - at least, you'd think. If you would observe Dev properly, you'd notice some interesting things. The friends that he does have and are in his inner circle can tell he really can commit to tasks - then do them like heck. When choosing to, he will actually do signifcant potions of work, even in "teamwork". The only problem about thatt is right there - when he chooses to. Usually he won't, because what's the point in that? Deverick also seems to have quite a lot of energy - not in the way that he can run all day, but more of the fact that when he chooses to (and he doesn't always), he can annoy others all day. It's honestly up to him, really, whether that annoyance is in a good, playful way or it's just a petty little way in a feud. On those occasions, it's where he doesn't entirely act like the Deverick that's content being in the middle of the class and doing everything just scoring the upper quartile. He can do better than that (or worse, depending against who) - he just doesn't want to come out of his introvert shell and interact with new people. ~ Strengths: - Processing and thinking. Deverick is able to think, and process, new scenarios slightly quicker than others, giving him a small edge when it comes to it. - Reading others. All the time on the fringe, he's learnt from observing people when's a better time to approach them - usually. He can be wrong. - Hard worker (when he wants to be). With what he's got, provided he actually wants to do it, Deverick can put his mind to something and actually really try to do it. Weaknesses: - Obsessiveness. His trait of working as stated earlier can sometimes lead to obsessiveness, as well as the fact that his possessiveness can get in the way. - Somewhat judgemental. Oh, Deverick will judge you like hell on everything you do. - Introverted, slightly antisocial. While Deverick does know and can read people, that doesn't mean he wants to. Unless there's a purpouse behind it. - Peanuts. He has a peanut allergy. ~ blah Edited at November 25, 2024 04:47 PM by Boeing

College and university was not the pathway that Orsion thought he was going to be going when he had been young--younger. He had imagined himself in the midst of the "family" business. Sure, yeah. But he had missed the concept that he needed to actually get a degree for it. Apparently, it was for accreditation or whatever garbage. Either way, he had shown a knack for people-ing. Which meant that he had a knack for business and the face--the front--of the entire operation. He had quite a few knacks of planning and thinking, always figuring out what he wanted to do and how to achieve it. That was why he was there. Well, maybe not in that particular class. History. History was important. It gave clues as to what people would think about, what they would assume and--most importantly--how to avoid past mistakes of those who had failed before. Orsion was not about to be the one who sunk the family business because he didn't know what he was doing. That was definitely not what he was going to be known for. He leaned back in the seat, one leg crossed over the other as he picked up on all the idle gossip from the students around him. His loose light-grey shirt tucked under his light blue letterman's jacket. Jessica talking with a hot barista? Oh, definitely gotta keep tabs on her. If she got hitched, then it would start a chain reaction. Chain reaction of jealous girls, guys attempting to one-up each other and the whole 'universal i-do' string. But--but oh, Jessica took the taxi to get out that way and heard about a father having an affair?? With a taxi driver? That was... oh boy. Orsion's eyebrow rose just slightly. That was... scandalous. He made a mental note of taxi driver and father mostly to ice them out of any business dealings he would have later. He didn't need cheap dirt walking in on his business. Well, they could walk in. But he wouldn't have them becoming a big part of the business. Clean hands, clean streak, clean records.
