Jax just bit his lip, he hated how this was going and honestly didn't know why it had gone like this. Well, it was probably because he had been a criminal but he still couldn't understand why that would be such a big deal. He also did think Noah's parents had a problem with him being a guy which made him sigh, there wasn't anything he could do about that. Jax listened to what was being said although his everything sounded pretty blurry to him, he wasn't even sure this was actually happening but mostly he just felt bad for Noah. He looked over at him with a quiet sigh and watched as Noah ran over to the stairs. Jax half stood up to follow him although stopped hearing what Evelyn said, it did feel like he had been punched and his brow furrowed. Before he could say anything else he watched as she went over to Elliot's office. He sighed quietly and just ran his hands over his face before resting his head in his hands, this was way worse than he had even imagined. Jax wasn't even sure what to think about what Evelyn said, honestly he didn't even doubt she would do something like that. He sighed as he got up and just went over to Noah's room, there was no way he was staying in the living room. Jax opened Noah's door slowly and just leaned against the wall, sighing quietly as he looked at Noah, he had no idea what to say to him.

Noah just sat there, his hands were filled with his tears as he just breathed, trying to not think of anything. He just looked around again and memories came back to him, of course his parents moved into this house when he was in college but he would still come to the house every once and awhile. He just sighed and saw that the door opened, he instantly stood up, expecting it to be his mother. He sighed of relief when he saw it was Jax, he noticed he wasn’t saying anything. He went over to the bed, a king size bed and got out his stuffed animal. “This is Brownie, I had him since I was a kid, I come to him when I have emotional problems.” He smiled and lightly chuckled, trying to ease up their tension. Brownie was a stuffed dog that was brown, he was so cute and it was pretty obvious that it was an old stuffed animal. He smiled at the animal and sat next to Jax, with his back up against the wall. He left some space between them, he set Brownie on the floor and made him smile. “Brownie knows all the problems I’ve had, I love him, he just sits there while I talk to him. He can’t say anything back to me but hey, that’s fine, he’s still cute.” He stopped crying a little but tears were still forming, he then got all serious and said, “Don’t listen to my mother, even if she threatens you. Hell, she can disown me if she doesn’t like the fact that I’m with a man.” Noah was serious, very serious, he would give up everything to be with Jax and he wanted to make sure that Jax knew that.

Jax sighed quietly and just looked up at the celeing, his head resting on the wall. He hated thinking about how Noah had just left because of his parents and couldn't help but feeling like that was his fault and that it probably wouldn't have happened if he didn't meet his parents. Jax ran a hand over his face again and shook the thoughts away, looking up at Noah hearing him start talking. He smiled slightly at him and studied the stuffed animal he was holding, Jax smiled back at Noah although still bit his lip. He just watched Noah as he sat beside him and listened to what he was saying. Jax couldn't help but smile again as he thought about Noah talking to the stuffed animal about his problem, it did make him chuckle quietly and he looked at Noah with a small sigh seeing he still had tears in his eyes. That was what made Jax seriously annoyed but he wasn't entirely sure who he was annoyed at, either himself or Noah's parents. He just listened to what Noah said and nodded, not trusting himself to say anything. Jax wasn't sure how to feel about what he said, he didn't want Noah to be disowned just because of him. He just gave Noah another small smile and rested his head on the wall again.

Noah did notice that Jax wasn't saying anything, which he didn't expect him to. He just sighed and hugged his stuffed animal like what a kid would do. He then just got up and hovered over Jax, "I'm going to go talk to my mother, I'll be right back. You can look out for Brownie for me." He smiled and sat the stuffed animal next to Jax. He did glance over at his boyfriend and couldn't help but blush and kiss him. He stood back up and left the room, leaving the door open. He went downstairs and went into his father's office; he opened the door and of course his parents were arguing. Evelyn was the first to notice her son in the room, "Noah, why did you come in here?" Noah sighed and sat down in front of his father's desk, looking at his mother. "Look Evelyn, there is going to be some rules with you and Jax. Your not to threaten him, you understand? You don't get to push him around like he's nothing; he's a human being with a heart and feelings!" Noah was being quiet and calm, he was planning on yelling at his mother if she denied what her son said. But instead of fighting back, she nodded. "Fine, your father and I have discussed you and your boyfriend." Noah's raised his head and frowned, "And?" Evelyn shook her head and replied, "And we are not to tell you, live your life Noah, but I'm telling you now…Your going to end up getting hurt." And with that, she left the room. Noah ran his hand through his hair in frustration. He took a deep breath and looked at his father, his father accepted Jax, "Why can't mom be like you?" Elliot chuckled and stood up, "I don't know son." Noah then gave him a hug and left the room but right when he opened the door; Elliot asked, "May I ask where you are going?" Noah nodded and said, "I'm taking Jax to the gun range with some of my friends." He smiled and his father returned it, "Well, have fun son." Noah gave him a firm nod before leaving the room to go upstairs to his bedroom, "Hey." He smiled and grabbed Brownie and set him on the bed by his pillows. "So, your ready to go to the gun range?" Noah pulled out his phone, already requesting an Uber. He then thought of something Keni had told him and of course made a joke about it, "So looks like you, Jax, works for TSA? Who knew?" He chuckled, of course Keni had told him that it was an excuse since she didn't want Chase to know that he was a criminal.

(Oh shit, by the way "TSA" stands for transportation security administration. It's just something that America has for security in the airport and an Uber is just like a taxi driver. If you didn't already know)

Jax mostly just kept his gaze on the floor although did glance at Noah every so often and smiled seeing him cuddling his stuffed animal. He did think Noah looked adorable and just smiled at the thought. Jax looked at him as he stood up and nodded, he was a little worried about how that would go but shook it away. He almost pulled away from Noah when he kissed him, he was still abit worried about what Evelyn had said to him. Jax just sighed as Noah left and rested his head on his knees for a while before looking up and seeing Noah's stuffed animal Brownie. He chuckled quietly and picked him up and just looked over him. He couldn't help but wish he had known Noah sooner when they were both younger, he had had the best times since he knew him and just wondered if they had met each other sooner. Jax shook off the thoughts, they really weren't worth thinking about, he was just glad that he knew Noah now. He could hear voices from down the stairs but couldn't make out what they were saying and just closed his eyes ignoring any thoughts. It was definitely nice to just not think about anything. Jax opened his eyes again when he heard Noah coming back up the stairs. He smiled in reply and nodded "Yep, definitely" Jax spoke before he stood up. He raised his eyes slightly at what he said, confused for a few seconds until he remembered "Right, it's been my job all along" Jax smiled again as he just looked at Noah.

Noah stood there, hovering over Jax but staring at his phone. His frustration was building, "What the hell takes so long to get an Uber!?" He wanted to throw his phone at the wall but he didn't, he instead gripped it harder, but he also didn't want to break it. Finally he found someone who can take them back to the city. "Alright, he will be here in a few minutes." Noah looked back at his stuffed animal and smiled then heard what Jax said, he laughed lightly and said, "Oh well, it's better than breaking the law." He smirked at Jax and gave him a quick kiss before going outside the room, "I'm going to wait down here." He gave Jax a quick smile and ran down the stairs and sat on the couch. A few minutes later, he got the notification that the driver was at the house. "Jax! Get your ass down here! Uber's here!" Noah yelled, making sure Jax could hear him from downstairs. He opened the front door and opened the car door, waving at their driver. "My boyfriend is coming, he'll be down in a second." Luna then came running to the car with blood around her jaws. Noah's jaw dropped as he tried not to scream, "Holy shit Luna! Please tell me you didn't eat my parents cats!?" Luna jumped in the car, panting and wagging her tail.

Jax just watched as Noah stood over him, his eyebrow slightly raised, he shrugged at what Noah said, he wasn't even sure he had asked him the question but still. Jax sat back against the wall and just hugged his knees to his chest, his thoughts did drift to Damien and what he was doing but soon was distracted by Noah. He nodded at what he said and just listened again and replied with a shrug but chuckled. Jax just listened to Noah and watched as he left the room. At times he did think that something else like that job would have been better than being a criminal but then there had been times when he had enjoyed it. Most of those running from cops but still, he did like some missions with Damien although he did sometimes regret living that life for so long. Jax shook the thoughts off, he really needed to stop dwelling on those thoughts about his past.

Jax was just glad when he heard Noah call him and got up. He went down the stairs, keeping his eyes on the ground worried he'd see Evelyn or Elliot. Jax just let out a small breath as he breathed in the outside air, it definitely felt better. He went over to the car and got in, looking over at Luna with raised eyes as he looked back at Noah. Jax probably wouldn't ever stop being shocked by that dog, he chuckled at the thought.

Noah smiled and just waited for Jax to get in the car before just getting in himself, he told the driver where to go, unfortunately they had to go back to Coal’s house and get Noah’s sniper, he already had his pistol in his back pocket. Of course he’ll never say that, not wanting the driver to get scared or something. Noah stayed silent and of course slightly panicked because of Luna, “Please tell me you didn’t eat those cats…” Noah’s legs were shaking as he just stayed there, completely stoned. Luna whined and licked Noah’s cheek, “Well, good girl.” He smiled and gave her the biggest hug, “Who’s the cutest dog in the world! You are!” He chuckled and petted her for the longest time. After some time in the car, they finally got out. “Woah!” Noah threw his arms up and stretched, “Alright, I’m going to get my sniper. You can wait here.” Noah walked into Coal’s house and ignored him, “Oh hey! Where were you?” Noah rolled his eyes, he definitely wasn't going to tell Coal what happened at his parents house. He just ran up the stairs and went in the closet and grabbed his case that had the sniper in it, he picked it up and carried it downstairs. “What are you doing with your sniper!?” Coal shot his body up from the couch and stared at Noah, but of course he wasn’t in the mood to talk to anyone. “I’m just going to the gun range with Jax and my friends, we’ll be back.” Noah rushed out of the house and saw Luna with a dead fish in her mouth, “Good girl! Who’s the best dog in the world!?” Luna wagged her tail and sat down, she’ll be staying here, there was no way Noah was bringing her to the gun range. He looked at Jax and smiled, “We can walk there.” He grabbed his hand and led him on the beach, of course he glanced at Jax every few seconds. “You can have my pistol, just don’t shoot it at someone.” Noah smiled and handed the gun to Jax, mostly because he wanted to not be alone in the gun range. The range was quite far away, but Noah wanted to walk with Jax.

Jax smiled quickly over at Noah seeing he got in the car, he rested his arm against the door and just thought about what had happened. It was definitely not how he had expected meeting Noah's parents to go, of course he had thought of the possibility but it was still crazy that it happened. Jax couldn't help but sigh, he definitely didn't want that to have affected Noah's relationship with his parents. There wasn't much he could do though and really he didn't want to keep dwelling on it, he did wish Damien was there so he could tell him but shook the thoughts away. He looked over at Noah hearing what he said to Luna, he wasn't sure he had heard that right although did chuckle as he watched Noah hug her. Jax did think about how cute they were together.

Jax nodded at what Noah said and just waited outside the house. He didn't think he'd have to wait long anyway and sure enough he soon saw Noah. Jax offered him a quick smile and listened to what he said to Luna. He walked with Noah, turning to him with a raised eyebrow although took the gun, he gave Noah a quick smile and chuckled "Okay, didn't plan it" Jax just put the gun in his pocket and continued walking.
