This ambitious project aimed to harness advanced technologies to manipulate and stabilize the Earth's climate, ensuring the survival of humanity for generations to come. However, as the initiative progressed, unforeseen consequences began to emerge. The manipulation of natural systems on such a grand scale triggered a cascade of catastrophic events, unleashing geological upheavals, extreme weather phenomena, and the sudden collapse of ecosystems worldwide. The delicate balance of the planet was shattered, leading to widespread devastation and loss of life. Amidst the chaos, pockets of survivors struggled to endure in a world transformed by their own folly. One pack rose from the ashes - The Elysian Pack, once a noble and formidable group of wolves, now navigates the desolate remnants of a world devastated by The Sundering. The Elysian wolves cling to the remnants of their former way of life, seeking to maintain order and dominance in a world that has become harsh and unforgiving. Despite society’s collapse and humans no longer around, the world did not flourish like they thought. As they navigate this new realm, the unexpected emergence of hybrid creatures sparks fear within the group. These hybrids, born from the chaotic energies unleashed by The Sundering, pose a threat to the Elysian Pack. Caught between instinctual fear and a sense of duty to protect their territory, the Elysian wolves must confront the unknown and adapt their strategies to confront this new and unpredictable threat: The Sylvan Tribe. The Slyvan Tribe is made up of wolf hybrids, coming together after The Sundering, drawn by a shared sense of kinship and the need for survival in a world forever changed by cataclysm. As they begin to face the unknown world together, their unity is tested as they find themselves hunted by the Elysian Pack ----- This RP is created by both myself and The Bewitched. About the Packs
╰─────────╯ ೃ⁀➷ The Elysian Pack ೃ⁀➷ Before The Sundering, the Monsoon Clan and Creek Pack stood as two of the strongest and most revered wolf packs in the region. Each pack had its own unique strengths and territories, with the Monsoon Clan known for their agility and cunning, navigating the dense forests and rocky terrain with ease. On the other hand, the Creek Pack boasted exceptional hunting skills and resilience, thriving in the challenging environments of riverbanks and marshlands. Despite their differences, the Monsoon Clan and Creek Pack shared a mutual respect and understanding, recognizing the value in cooperation rather than rivalry. This mutual respect was forged through generations of interactions, occasional conflicts, and ultimately, a deep-seated acknowledgment of each other's strengths. As the chaos of The Sundering unfolded, and resources dwindled, the Alphas of the Monsoon Clan and Creek Pack recognized the need for unity to ensure the survival of their kind. Seeing strength in collaboration rather than competition, they made the bold decision to combine their forces, forming what would come to be known as the Elysian Pack. The Elysian Pack epitomized nobility and strength and despite everything, they became one of the mightiest packs within the region. Their pack consisted of over 20 members, a formidable force thriving in the midst of chaos. The union of these two formidable packs brought together a diverse array of talents and expertise, creating a force to be reckoned with in the post-apocalyptic landscape. As the cataclysmic event reshaped their world, leaving behind a desolate landscape and killing more than half of their pack members, they have begun to rebuild amidst the ruins. But, the emergence of the Sylvan Tribe poses a new threat to their existence. Viewing the hybrids as a challenge to their reign and an affront to their lineage, the Elysian wolves are determined to eradicate them entirely, doing whatever it takes to maintain their dominance and restore what they perceive as the natural order. •°•°•❈•°•° The Sylvan Tribe •°•°•❈•°•° Other, smaller wolf groups coexisted alongside the Elysian Pack, forming alliances to enhance their survival odds post-human eradication. In the territories near the Sylvan Tribe, they scrounged for sustenance as the dominant Elysian Pack monopolized resources. However, in the wake of The Sundering, the lingering effects of radiation permeated the land, a peculiar phenomenon began to unfold within certain wolf populations. As time passed, in regions where the radioactivity was most potent, certain wolf populations witnessed a peculiar phenomenon: the birth of hybrids. Initially, the birth of these hybrids sparked fear and confusion among their kind, viewed as aberrations to be shunned or eradicated.
Faced with the uncertainty of this new genetic anomaly, many wolf packs adhered to a strict policy of culling hybrid pups, deeming them as sick or tainted by the fallout of The Sundering. Yet, despite the widespread prejudice and fear, a few compassionate individuals among the packs saw the hybrids not as abominations, but as beings deserving of compassion and understanding. As time passed, a small number of hybrid pups were spared from the cull, either through the intervention of empathetic parents or the daring escape of a few courageous families who chose to defy tradition and protect their offspring. These survivors formed the nucleus of what would later become known as the Sylvan Tribe.
Having been depleted of resources for years, these newly risen hybrids want one thing only: to secure a place to call their own in a world that seems determined to kill them. |

Rules
╰─────────╯ 1. Follow all of Eve's rules. 2. Be active. I would like to see a minimum of 2-3 posts every week-- if you go inactive for more than five days, your character(s) will be removed from this RP. 3. No godmodding or having perfect characters. Your characters should not be perfect and unrealistic. i.e - they cannot have no scars on them if they have a past of battling others. 4. This is semi-literate, meaning that you should be posting at least 2-3 paragraphs for every character, for every post. Writers block is understandable, but the rest of us need something long enough to reply to. 5. Ask before seriously killing or injuring another character not your own. They are not yours to control, and you need to ask permission. 6. Properly credit your images. 7. You are given three strikes. You will get warnings, and if you continue breaking rules, then you will be kicked out of this RP. 8. Be realistic. A pup cannot kill an adult wolf. Also, when you're fighting, give others a chance to respond. You cannot avoid all hits and land each blow. It's simply unrealistic. 9. Reservations last 48 hours. If you do not complete your form when your time is up, the spot will go to somebody else. However, I can allow an extension if requested. 10. If you are told to fix your form more than three times, then we have the ability to kick you out.
11. Two characters per person for now. I will change this later on if needed. On top of that, it's one hybrid per person.

General Rules for Hybrids
╰─────────╯ You have free reign with your hybrids. However, I ask that you do not make them too OP. Try to limit the traits. Keep these notes in mind when creating your character: The body is predominantly a wolf. The hybrid part must only be a trait. They will appear like wolves minus a few appearance differences (horns, tongues, claws/hooves) - pretty free reign but don’t overdo it. Keep the hybrids to the general area (forest creatures only). Absolutely no aquatic, safari, or jungle (i.e - wolf x dolphin, wolf x lion, etc). For hybrids, only doing one of each of them. So, if someone chooses a wolf x deer, another can't do that. However, you can do a wolf x elk, etc. Reptiles and birds are also allowed. Basically, any creature found in a forest. |

He is bitter towards them, but then again, Arkturos is bitter towards most. Having been hunted one's entire life can leave an upsetting taste on the tongue. As a result, he has grown into an individual who is.. keen on revenge. He wants nothing more than to live a peaceful life where he can be accepted, but right now? He wants resources, and the Elysian Pack has the most. Appearance: [credit goes to myself, please do not use nor redistribute] Arkturos is a fearsome individual, standing at an intimidating 35 inches tall with a weight of approximately 238 pounds. As he matures, he is expected to stand at a total height of 47 inches tall and a weight of nearly double. His overall physique is sturdy and muscular, combining both the agility and sleekness of a wolf, and the power of a Kodiak bear. His body is well-proportioned, with strong limbs and a broad chest. Arkturos may not be the fastest of wolves or hybrids, but his stamina and power certainly make up for it. For him to be stealthy is nearly impossible, as his body is much more suited for muscle use over anything else. In terms of his fur, it is dense, thick, and furrier than that of a wolf due to the bear aspect. Able to insulate him well in the winter, it provides him both warmth and camoflauge during year. The colouration is that of a simple brown, with the shade changing depending on the season. His head is more wolf-like, but is larger and more robust. It features a broad skull, strong jaws, and powerful teeth adapted for both hunting and scavenging. When it comes to his ears, they are relatively smaller compared to those of a wolf, but are still sharp and attentive. His eyes combine a wolf's sharp gaze with a bear's perceptive one. They are an amber colour. His tail itself is bushy and long, similar to that of a wolf but thicker, providing balance and agility for his larger body. His paws are also larger and more powerful, equipped with strong claws that can be used for digging, climbing, and grasping prey or objects. In summary, Arkturos exudes a powerful presence, with scars littering his body due to being the force of the group and from past encounters. Hybrid Traits:

He has a reputation as a force to be reckoned with, his demeanor and aura exuding an intimidating presence. His size, confidence, and commanding presence make him a figure that isn't easily overlooked. If that isn't eerie enough, he possesses a strategic mind, capable of analyzing situations and devising plans of action. It is perhaps his strongest trait, whether it include hunting or protecting, he welcomes challenges and exploits his opponents' weaknesses. He is rather a solidary creature taking on a more independent nature. However, that isn't to say that he isn't welcoming or refuses companionship. He is friendly enough, and loyal to boot. He truly wouldn't mind living in a pack or by his lonesome. Of course, due to his bear qualities, he can be rather.. fierce in defending his territory or being protective. He has his boundaries, this instinct driving him to protect both his physical space and the resources within it. Due to this, he can be unreasonable at times, often jumping to conclusions without truly giving strangers much thought. Given his upbringing, the moment another is near, Arkturos has his guard up. He is not trusting of others, only selecting a few whom he truly believes in. While he can act without thinking at times, Arkturos exhibits courage in the face of adversity. He allows himself to be the punching bag of the lot, after all, he can take it. He confronts threats head-on, displaying bravery in defending what he holds dear. If he must stay behind to ensure that others have a chance to survive, so be it. He would do so. However, incases such as those, Arkturos believes that he can do more than he can. As a result, this puts him in difficult situations that he isn't sure that he himself may escape. Call it selfless or pure stupidity. Despite being a brute, Arkturos is demonstrates a level of tolerance in those he knows. Unless a threat is lingering, he interacts with other wildlife with a level of patience and acceptance. In short, he does not bother those that do not bother him. He does possess protective instincts. He fiercly guards his companions, acting as as shield against any dangers that may arise. He is also resourceful, adapting to changing circumstances. If one thing is certain, he is stubborn. Strengths:
