Parliament #1

This group of owls is a medium-sized one borderline growing larger.

In this Kingdom, they are ruled by a monarchy. The King and Queen are chosen by the owls in a Hollow Meeting where they discuss the best options for leadership and then they come to an agreement on who should reign. The leadership, almost always stays within the family, as it has for many centuries. However, the latest vote has created conflict . The youngest daughter of the current rulers was chosen to become Queen, and many disagreed with her ruling as it was seen unfit for a female to rule without a mate or partner. However some were hopeful and curious to see what this young lady would do. So she was crowned Queen of the Parliament.

Her first order as Queen was to abolish the way the rulers were chosen, and she made it so that future Queens wouldn't have to rule with a partner. She brought many changes and advanced the Kingdom from the Old Ways. She gave females more freedom and expression of power and made both sexes equal. The Kingdom flourished due to her rule, more eggs were hatched , the education levels of the people grew , and the Kingdom grew more powerful. They praised the New Queen and her ways after doubting her. She became well know and loved by her people.
She soon found love herself , and had a clutch of eggs. However, one night while she was out on business with another Kingdom her eggs were destroyed . All except one that is, this was the only Princess born to the Queen as the father of the child was found murdered a couple weeks later. The Queen mourned the loss, and was hell bent on finding the culprit. The signs and evidence pointed to the neighboring Parliament, and this made the Queen furious. She demanded a Council Meeting between them, not only did they disrespect her but even laughed at her. In a fury she left, and went back to her Kingdom.

Tensions were high with the Queen's temper growing more irritable. Then something happened to drive her even more over the edge. The great Hollow Robbing, eggs around the Kingdom went missing and owls were found dead throughout the territory not to mention owlets went missing as well. It was a nightmare , and the Queen knew just who to blame. She declared war on the neighboring Parliment and has been fighting them ever since. During the declaration , reports of owls with powers hatching within the Kingdom intrigued her and her own daughter was one of them. So she sent the young fledglings away to a school just for owls with powers, it seemed the Legends were real.
With them she hoped to put an end to the war.

Parliament #2

The largest Kingdom within the forest.

While this Kingdom may disguise itself as a monarchy, it is quite clear it's an authoritarian regime. The Supreme King is the only ruler and decision maker within the land, though he has a mate the Suprema , her role is only decorative. She still is treated harshly by him even though he's supposed to love her. The Kingdom is very much dead set in the Old Ways. The Old Ways are:

-Females are to be seen and not heard. They are not allowed any prominence within the Kingdom, only rarely will they even be allowed to be a prestigious scholar. They are to keep their head down in the presence of males , and if not they will receive a talon strike. The more prominent their mate, the more assertive they can be over other females.

- Males are superior. They are to be trained how to fight, the way of ruling and are to be future leaders and warriors. Any male not worthy of this is to be killed or sent to the Mines.

- Females are to raise chicks to serve the Supreme King. The more males a female produces, the more respect she earns added to her mate's rank. A female must be mated weeks after she fledges, unless she will be viewed as an eyesore and will be forced to be a Coal Miner along with other ones who don't meet expectations.

- No one is to question the Supreme King unless they want to face death and all must bow and kiss his talons in respect whenever they are in his presence.

The Supreme King is a fearsome male, he has what he calls an "Art " . Meaning he has powers, and the details of his power is unknown but it can be speculated to be one that can be associated with mind control. While he is evil, he didn't even think about harming the neighboring Kingdom and so the accusations against them were laughable and so he acted as such. Now he did order the killing of certain owls in their Kingdom but never the egg-napping of eggs. So when war was declared he was expecting it but not for the reasons.

Then he found out about the owlets within his Kingdom displaying signs of having "Arts" and he sent them away to the School of Klaw Arts where he was trained . He was shocked to see a female among them but he let it slide .

He hopes to crush the opposing Kingdom for their filthy ways.
