If you're going for a canine appearance than I'd make the ears more triangular, dogs have pointy ears while wolves have more of a rounded triangular shape to them.

Ok so once upon a time there were 2 alphas, they bred had a pup and the male died. Female finds a new male, they breed have and have a pup.
That's kinda a short version of what happened in Leaf Fall, but which pup should become the next alpha? Is it Clover because she's the oldest, or Snowflake since hunter is no longer an alpha?

It's your choice. Add dominance to your chosen future alpha so that they will have more dominance than any other wolf in the pack, and they will be alpha when they are no longer a pup.
