This is Terria, the most diverse country in the world. Home to more Elementals and Humans than any other first-world country. The year is 3032 and everyone has a chip placed in their hands at birth allowing us to be easily identified. Even all the way down to whether or not you can bend. Even after a three-year-long war between the people prejudice was still apparent, and the government made the effort to keep the tensions low. More than twenty years later prejudice and hate are still there, and Elementals have tried to show humans that they are indeed not a threat. Elementals are just like humans, yet some still think otherwise.

Different areas to live:

First Class:

~Mainly large family homes, condos and luxury apartments

~Humans are the most likely to live here

Middle Class:

~small family homes, small apartments and large businesses

~non-bender and humans are majority here

Ghetto:

~homes of all sizes (but TYPICALLY not of best structure), small apartments, small businesses

Roles:

~ Air

• They’re able to float, for as long as they want, but not any higher than 4 feet off the ground
• They have better lungs (better at running and cardiovascular activities)

• They’re aloof and couldn’t care less
• They just go with the flow and kets what happens, happen
• They’re resourceful, only because they don’t want to do work

*Culture (although it is not NEEDED to be abided by, definitely recommend)

• They’re the closest tribe, anyone who is an air elemental can walk up to each other and they’ll talk like they’ve known each other for years
• They live wherever sometimes some even lie in first class (but not the benders, they still HAVE to stick to the ghetto or middle class)
• Humans don’t really care for them, nor do they hate them

*Benders

• Everything a non-bender can do
• Can fly
• Make small tornados (that can “suffocate” anyone inside), if they work together the tornados can get larger
• Can control air in general (conjure it, ex. In a room where the air is slowly running out, they can make more air. Control the air already existing)

~ Water

• They can use water to heal other (accept fire elementals)
• They can sense when its about to rain

• They’re quiet
• They’re always relaxed
• THey have a resting sad face

• They’re families are the same as human families, some stay and some go. It happens
• For he most part they live in middle class, if some live in the ghetto is because they don’t have sufficient funds
• Non-benders are humans second favorite, while benders are their favorites (only because they see them as “useful”

*Benders

• Everything a non-bender can do
• Unfortunately they cannot conjure up water, there's actually a lot more water around than suspected (Human’s blood -ask RPers permission before, if it’s an NPC go for it-, pipe lines going down the streets, oil in cars, ect. Just use common sense -if you need help go ahead and PM me-)
• Making a sprinkle, if they work together they can make a storm
• The ability to turn water into ice and levitate it as a weapon (again look at rules)

~ Fire

• They will not be burned when coming into contact with fire/lava
• They’re never cold, they are their own heat source, and during the summer they are able to keep at a natural temperature

*Sterotypres (you do not HAVE to abide by these)

• They’re hot headed and tend to take more risks
• They’re more flirtatious
• They’re liers

*Culture (although it is not NEEDED to be abided by, definitely recommend)

• Your family is either EXTREMELY close or EXTREMELY distant
• Most live in the ghetto just because they are more socially accepted there
• It’s not as socially acceptable to show intense emotions
• The most hated by Humans, and benders are still treated as trash

*Benders

• Everything a non-bender can do
• Can control fire (can conjure fire, and control fire that's already existing)
• They can create lava, although Earth elementals don’t appreciate it
• They heal when surrounded by fire

~ Earth

• Can “talk to plants” which practically means that the plants they tend to will never die and they will grow faster
• Pet and animals are naturally attracted to them

*Sterotypres (you do not HAVE to abide by these)

• They’re smol beans since they tend to plants and gravitate towards pets
• THey’re the most caring and thoughtful of all four tribes
• They are just as defenseless as humans (this one is for sure wrong lol)

• Families are very close, the percentage for divorce in Earth elementals is lower than 50%
• The majority or Earth Elementals live in middle class, but some benders still prefer to live in the ghetto
• Being your own person and having phases is a lot more socially acceptable in this “tribe”” than any of the others
• Earth elementals who do not bend are the most liked by humans, benders are the second most liked

*Benders

• Everything a non-bender can do
• Unfortunately they cannot conjure up earth, but as long as they are not in the ocean, almost everything can be bended by them (not including: large buildings, buildings at all -you can throw ground at building but cannot pick up buildings-, glass, and anything obvious)
• They can bring plants alive, but depending on their size the time limit changes (small houseplants- , medium garden plants- hours, large trees-minutes)
• They can make armour out of the earth around them and it will feel weightless because they can bend it

~ Humans

• Humans have a larger voice, and get to control things more often
• They have more privileges
• There are activists, who fight for elem and benders human rights, supporters, humans who are comfortable around elems but not as comfortable around benders, and pro-peace humans, those who believe elems will only bring war and fear so they want them all to have less rights and to be confined

Grayson is a man who possesses a clean shaven, diamond shaped face; consisting of a set of defined cheekbones, a sharper rounded chin, and smaller narrow forehead. A light dusting of freckles stretch over the bridge of his nose and reside on the tops of his cheekbones. Grayson would consider them to be ‘minuscule craters of imperfection’, despite most believing they could be marks of subtle beauty. The young man has deeper set, semi-hooded eyes which are framed by long yet thinner sets of lashes. The hues of his eyes reside within the realm of a piercing shade of sapphire; with a brightly potent blue hue akin to the open ocean. And similar to the sea being both merciless and cold, as well as calm and steady, Gray’s eyes tend to reflect such qualities according to his moods as well. Above his eyes are the arched brows that are thinner than average, yet still possess a natural sharpness to them. They are the same shade of honeyed-champagne that his neatly combed blonde lockes are in, with his hair being an evident product of grooming while his brows are naturally tame. Gray’s nose is a simply sculpted aquiline structure, with there being a straight slope as well as base, and otherwise average in appearance. Below his nose is a faintly defined cupid’s bow, which adds a soft flare of definition to his thinner, pale rose lips. And from these lips resonates a sweetly honeyed and modulated voice that is both clear, and generally steady and auditorily pleasant.

The young man stands quite confidently at his height of 5’11, with a build to him best described as rectangular; meaning he’s rather proportional in terms of alignment with his shoulders and hips. There is a toned athleticism that is vastly evident to him, and it is accompanied by the poised and disciplined stature he possesses. Gray’s skin tone could best be regarded as a soft ivory, paired with cooler undertones to give his overall complexion a healthy, yet paler complexion. He can hold a very subtle tan in the harsher summer weather, but it hardly delivers much more color to his skin. On the right side of Gray’s chest, just below the collar bone, he is marked with a tattoo of two swords forming an ‘X’, accompanied by the four words in a small cursive font, ‘Fortune Favors the Bold’. In terms of scars littering the soldier’s body, he is certainly not exempt from having a few. They can mostly be found along his forearms and lower legs, with a few thin and faded scars on his abdomen, as well as lower and mid-back. Most of which have been earned in combat, or training.

Dressage for Gray is what could be considered simply complex. It mostly depends on the setting he plans to be in, of course. For occupation and some professional scenes, Gray could be seen in a darker black military grade outfit, or his white decorated uniform; both of which have the name ‘Varon’ stitched into them. Casually, Gray prefers simpler T-shirts and dark colored jeans, paired with cushioned sneakers. It wouldn’t be completely uncommon to see him in sweatpants and a hoodie, either, but that’s really more of an outfit tailored to his mood. Formally, silky dress shirt button downs and perfectly tailored over jackets and slacks will make up his attire. He can certainly dress like he’s made of money, and he isn’t entirely above flaunting that kind of status on occasion.

Deryk Varon is the Secretary of Defense, and naturally an individual highly respected by not only his peers, but a vast majority of people in general. It’s a shame this ‘good man’ facade ends with his occupation, as Gray would know best the kind of wolf in sheep’s clothing his father is. Deryk, by all means, is not fatherly material. He’s harsh, cruel, belittling, and has expected more out of his children than the soldiers he once mercilessly groomed to perfection. As much as Gray despises his father by all accounts, he still possesses the sick, childish desire to please him.

Nadia Varon, Mother, Alive:

Nadia is a beautifully kind and loving individual, inside and out. Her heart has always been plastered to her sleeve, and it has cost her more than she can bear sometimes. Her marital relationship has been on the decline for years, with her residing in her own small scale apartment now, despite how sick she currently is. Bless her son, Gray, who would lay down everything in his life to fall to his mother’s side. And lord knows he has; he’s the only one of the family who ensures she receives the best care imaginable… even though between the two, they both know her time is running out.

Layla Varon, Sister, Alive:

Layla; a spoiled brat who has never expressed a shred of gratitude for anything anyone has done for her. She is older than Gray by two years, but she has hardly ever acted the part of a loving sister, or a decent daughter for that matter. Not even in childhood did Gray and Layla manage to find common ground though, and the feelings of animosity only boiled further upon reaching adulthood. Needless to say they are relatively estranged, and truthfully the only time they’ll ever be in a room with one another again will be at a funeral.

Relationships:
