Hello! Please comment if you have any other ranks I should add to this list! This isn't 100% accurate, but I did a lot of research to find the best name and description for each rank.

High Ranks

Alpha Male: The Alpha Male is leader of their pack, alongside the Alpha Female. Their parents are usually the previous alphas. They usually are around their officials and other high-ranked and mid-ranked wolves.

Alpha Female: The Alpha Female is chosen by the Alpha Male, and must be at least three years old when named. They usually like to supervise pups and help out the Mothers. When they aren't doing that, they are always with the Alpha Male.

Beta Male/Female: They are second in command, and are left in charge when the alphas aren't around. They become the new alphas when both alphas die. One of them is usually the alphas' pup.

Sentinels: They are two mated pairs in the pack, who usually have no authority unless given by the alphas. They are trained to take over in case something happens to the alphas and betas.

Gamma: The Gamma is usually the oldest, and is the wisest wolf in the pack. The alphas go to them for advise, and they pass down old stories and wisdom to others. They are given as much respect as the alphas are given.

Mid Ranks

Lead Guard: They give commands to other guards, and speak to the alphas when needed. They usually do not go on patrols or guard the pack themselves.

Lead Hunter: They give commands to other hunters, and speak to the alphas when needed. They lead many large hunting expeditions, yet do not go on normal patrols.

Lead Scout: They give commands to the scouts, and do hunt with them. Yet, they eat the same amount of prey as the other officials.

Moon-Watchers: These wolves track time, and must be very wise. Moon-Watchers will also howl at dawn and at dusk to tell all wolves to wake up or go to sleep. They do not patrol or fight, as they can live for a very long time. They usually are named when young, yet an older wolf who has proven to be wise may be invited to join this group of wolves. They also decide an apprentice's fate as they become an adult.

Lead Healer: The oldest and wisest healer, who perfects the skills of other healers.

Healers: Those who heal other wolves when they are injured or sick.

Meditators: They are the peacemakers of the pack, and stay neutral when the pack is torn. They also help those with birth defects or health problems. ( Kinda like a Therapist )

I'm not done, just too lazy to finish right now.
