We were told as kids that dragons used to exist, that they were all fire breathing monsters knights in shining armor used to slay for the heart of the fair maidens. Who would really believe stories like this? they were just silly stories, or so we thought.

Something strange happened recently, nothing anyone can explain, but now unknow weather patterns have been happening, strange forms are seen in the clouds, the oceans, even in the arctic. The strange forms, dragons. This day and age isnt use to them, with our tall buildings, our cars, our radars. Something caused the dragons to appear again, and we have to figure out how to work with them, otherwise they will destroy our world.

Rules~

You may have ONE dragon and rider pair, all other MUST be paired with others

I will control day and night

If you pick a high rank and do not post often, by default you WILL lose that rank

Try to keep dragon to humans even

Dragons may NOT have more than 2 powers UNLESS they are a guard (then they have 3).

The king and queen dragons MAY have up to 5 powers. (one is born to the rank, and once the mate is picked, the other gains the other powers once they become official mates)

Max of 2 high ranks per person in the RP to start.

Not all humans need to be riders, not all dragons need a rider.

Dragon Laws~

The king and queen's word goes.

The first born to the king and queen becomes the next King/Queen.

The King and queen may NOT be challenged unless they have done something to endanger the dragons, and it can ONLY be by the next in line

Princes and Princesses may lose their rank if the king and/or queen deem them unworthy

IF a prince or princess is to take on a mate, their mate is called Lady or Lord, but NOT prince or princess, and they are not treated like royalty, but are to be respected.

The guards are expected to protect the king and queen with their lives, and if they are not fullfilling their duty, they will lose their rank.

If a dragon does not like humans, that's fine, BUT they are to respect those who are picked as riders, and not allowed to kill humans unless they are threatened, otherwise they can be punished.

More can be added by the King or Queen as needed to keep the dragons safe.

Her clawed hands, feet, and ears are gold. Her eyes are dark blue with a black sclera. She wears a short, dust-stained black cloak with a sapphire clip that ends just below her chest, and a gaiter to sheild her face. She has yellowed goggles to protect her eyes during flight and sandstorms. Her shirt and pants were formally white but stained yellow-brown from sand and dust. She carries around a duffle backpack with supplies. She is reclusive and tries to avoid fights.
