PYRRHIC (Name credits to catharcist) PLOT The world was once thriving with life. Humans ruled the Earth with their weapons of mass destruction and battered and bruised Mother Earth - however, she had a plan herself. One day, humans just simply vanished from the face of the Earth.
It seemed a cruel joke, but soon animals found that they were free from man's hand, and so they began to live - live like their ancestors in the wild. Plants and nature flourished, ivy and vine plants overtook once human structures and animals began making homes in them.
Years passed by quickly until these terra-beings were merely myths. The world was quite peaceful at the beginning. However, as the world passed and offspring was produced it became clear that what humans deemed "purebreds" were slowly fading away and being over taken by Impure or "mutts" of dog breeds.
In a city lived a civilization of Purebred dogs , they were 15 of 25 remaining known purebreds, and the remaining 5 were a group simply known as The Pure Ones while the pack of "mutts" and possibly 4 purebreds were know as the New Order.
These dogs have heard rumors of a plant. Simply known as Mystiqué, a beautiful blue-hued fern that has golden glowing marks. The rumors say it can bring back the life of a deceased dog, and some even believe it can cause the impurities of a mutt to disappear. Now, it's a race of time for these dogs to find this mythical plant that may or may not exist.

The New Order Beliefs The New Order has very different beliefs from the Purebreds. This group believes that The Gods created Mutts because Purebreds held evil. These purebreds could fool and brainwash at will- supposedly. The New Order keeps a few purebreds around for protection, they are the first one to fight in the act of war, as sort of sacrifices. Once they die, their corpses are brought to the closest river, where each member of the group will lay down a dying flower. Doing so is said to create new life, and bring them closer to The Gods. The New Order believes that the plant can not only bring back the life of a deceased dog, but also cause living Purebreds to die. If reviving a purebred, their soul will be 'cleansed' of evil. Practices The New Order does not set up a camp when they sleep. Each dog gets a few leaves, a bit of moss, whatever they can find. Same with food, if they cant find anything, they starve until food is found. At mutts death, they will be covered with lillies and other flowers, then left out for scavengers. At a purebreds death, they are sent along the river for cleansing. Founding Lore The pack of mutts found eachother slowly, in the woods. Then they grew and grew- into a pack, all searching for the plant. |

Pure Ones Beliefs The Pure Ones believe that purebreds are the answer. They believe that the plant can cause the impurities of a mutt to disappear- for them to become a 'pure'bred dog. They also believe that mutts are a cruel joke, like the humans, but because they came into the world. Practices Purebreds will chant a chorus when one of their own dies. If a mutt dies, and the body is found by them, they will throw the dead body off a cliff, to make sure their soul doesnt escape. Founding Lore The Pure Ones were founded when mutts tried to attack a group of two- to when they decided that any purebred dog could join them. |
