spelling words out means not shortening them, so using "you" and not "u", or "thank you so much" instead of "tysm"

for the record, not trying to minimod, just answering the question ^^"

this is my gallery. obviously some pieces are older but i don't think my style has changed a whole lot (at least technique wise lol). i did have a shop but it's been deleted B) and i don't remember pricing, but, here's my ideas

headshot: 1 apple
half-body/bust: 3 apples
full body: 5 apples
background (scene): +2 apples
simple background: +400 mush

shading/lighting are added /unless/ requested none (free).

are these fair? should i raise them? lower them? please help ^^'

you definitely could go a bit higher on your prices considering how skillful your artwork is! you have a good understanding of shading, lighting and atmosphere :D
i'd suggest starting at 3-5 apples for a headshot, but it's always a good idea to start low and work your way higher as demand rises!

thank you!

my only current problem right now is i've noticed how dead the art shops are right now too :") like i'm questioning if it'd be even worth opening a shop? however, i do think that doing 3-5 apples for a headshot and so on for other things isn't an entirely /bad/ idea. i know that people have bought my art for a lot more too so.

yeah definitely! art shops have been a bit weird lately, and i'm assuming it has to do with all the collab and commission auctions put out recently, just not as much demand :')
though, my shop usually does fairly well. you will just get random weeks where it seems nobody wants to order, but it always passes lol! and if you're not sure about a shop, commission auctions are always a good way to go

I agree with distant ^^
I primarily sell my art through commission auctions since it lets me have plenty control over specifically what I want to draw. Also helps gauge prices though demand still fluctuates a lot haha.
