The Kingdom of Ederia is famed for a lot of things, attaining high praise from all those that look upon her. However, there is one thing Ederia is most renowned for: Dragon Riders. The only Kingdom to have come up with a way to tame the legendary beasts, to ride upon their backs as one. It has been like this for decades, perhaps even centuries, few really know. And, together in harmony, Dragons and Humans have lived, creating a proserpous nation.

The Dragon Academy of Ederia is like none other, literally there are no others known to the world. A place where young students who have been lucky enough to be chosen by their dragons go to learn to become the most revered role in all of Ederia: Dragon Riders. Few are selected, as dragons are known to be an entirely selective species, but those who are chosen must learn quickly, and that is where the Academy comes in. Exerpienced riders teach the fledgling riders and their dragons how to work together as one, as well as everything the youths will need to know about dragons and what they are up against in the world.

It sounds like a beautiful, wonderful place, right?

Too bad all good things must come to an end.

Jealous nations, wanting to claim the glory for themselves and bring down Ederia have set their sights on destroying the Academy. It was only a matter of time before the succeeded too. One night, the forces of another Kingdom infilitrated the Kingdom, intent on burning it all. And they did. The Academy was destroyed, the cities burned, and it's occupants, the ones who tried to resist and fight back, were slaughtered. In hopes of preserving a little bit of their legacy so that hope would remain, the Leaders of Ederia and the Dragon Riders commanded the students to flee, to survive, to learn.

As the battle raged on for Ederia, the students fled, looking back on the carnage behind them, hoping that one day they could come back and restore their beloved Kingdom.

The Rules of the Roleplay
Follow all of WP's and Eve's Rules.
1. Be Active. Sometimes I'm not on for a couple of days, but I expect everyone to be as active as they can for the rp. Unless you are waiting for someone to post, you should be posting.
2. Reservations last 48 hours. You know how I work if they aren't done in time.
3. Finish the characters you post first, before creating new ones.
4. For now, limit of Four characters per person. 2 Rider, 2 Dragon.
5. Semi-Realism and Semi-Literacy are required. Please do not make me explain myself.
6. Dragons are classed solely by their colors and abilities. Stick to their base descriptions for your dragons, and expand from there.
7. The riders are new, they will not be experts at Dragon Riding. Mistakes will be made, and they do not know everything.
8. For now, your dragon and your rider cannot be partners, this it to prevent people from not having others to post with. Please find a pair for your characters prior to the rp starting, if you do not, I will asign them.
9. Ask permission from the Roleplayer if you wish to be their character's partner, however, do not try and force it. There will be someone else out there for you.
10. Try to keep things even with genders, it's much more interesting if things are diverse.
11. LGBTQ+ is welcomed and allowed here.
12. Please put your favorite Dragon movie or book in the other section of your form if you've read everything.


The Academy Rules
1. No romantic relationships while enrolled between students. It's forbidden.
2. Curfew is 9 PM. Dorm checks will be done to confirm students are in their rooms.
3. Opposite Genders are not allowed in the other dorms after 8 Pm.
4. Tardiness is not allowed. If you are late to class more than 3 times, you will receive extra work or chores as punishment.
5. Riding outside of School Grounds Without Permission is Strictly Prohibited for your Safety.
6. Violence among students is not acceptable, unless in a specific class like Sparring.
7. Dragons: Do not eat the students. Please.
8. Students are expectedt o provide and care for their Dragons.

9. Any Students Found Mishandling Dragon Eggs will face Expulsion! (Gregory)

About the Academy
The Academy was found by some of the first generations of riders, wanting a streamlined way for new riders to learn and grow safely. It features basic education as well as everything revolving around dragons from care to flight to sparring, and everything in between and beyond.

The Academy is much like modern day college, in the fact that the chosen riders leave home to live on the grounds. Their dragons also live on the grounds in the rookery, though are typically much less happy about it than the humans. The humans are split into two dorms, one for boys and one for boys, and are assigned rooms that they share with two people in each room. Each of the dorms have common rooms where the students can relax on down time, and a dining hall for meals, though they aren't always required to eat there.

The Dragon counterparts stay in one of the two rookeries. The first is the top level of the school, carved out and fitted so that each dragon has a little outcropping of space for its nest. It's a very large and open room, and spans much of the building. It has openings on either broadside that the dragons can enter through by flight or glide. There is also a human door that allows the students access as well.

The second rookery is underground, a expanse of cave systems that gives each dragon a bit more privacy than in the first rookery. Each dragon has its own cave, and the nests are all connect by a system of tunnels which then connect to the large main tunnel, which can easily fit multiple dragons in it at once, that leads to the entrance. Ironically, the tunnel entrance itself looks like a cave mouth until one were to venture within it further.


About the Dragons
There are a variety of dragons in the world, though everyone single one of them fall into one of the classes listed below. Each Class has been determined based off its characteristics and its singular special ability. While each dragon within a single class will vary considerably, they all have similar traits that they carry and specifications they fall into.


All the dragons in the Rp are the same age group of young adult, which is the stage where they are 50 years old or above, becoming full adults at about 250 years. The older a dragon gets the longer the aging stage lasts, ergo ancient is longer than adult, which is longer than young adult, which is longer than their adolescent stage, and so on and so forth. Dragons are considered semi-immortal but it has never been proven what age they die naturally at.
Below each Class of dragon will have a basic description that each dragon has in its foundation. It will include things like height, traits, etc that you will need to include.

Classes
Each Class of Dragon has color variations within it, all dragons within that Class share a special power that the other classes do not have.


Fire Class
Common
Special Ability: Extremely Hot Fire Breath
The Ability is to breath hot fire, varying in degrees through their control. It isn't enough to melt Dragon Scales, however, it can melt metal, stone, wood, etc. pretty much any substance known to man and dragon, with the exception of other dragons. Their ability Relies upon the dragon being well fed to sustain the flame, but they can adjust the ferocity of their fire to burn through their food slower, but that does mean that their fire isn't as big or hot as it normally could be. Now, if a dragon is starving but under attack, they can eject the bile in their stomach and turn it into a liquidy flame as a last attempt to flee or escape. This is for only one time though, and any creaure who sees it would know they're now out of fire. Basically Lack of food = lack of flame. Use does burn energy. Their fire can also be different forms, from flame to magma, so more fire like or more liquid like, etc.
Color Variarions: Reds, Yellows & Oranges; other Colors are only Mild Markings
Size: 8ft - 17ft at the Shoulder
Traits: Hot-tempered, Aggressive, Stubborn, Territorial, Confident
Build: Large and Muscular, but with more Athletic Build. Leaner than Earth Dragons, Thicker than Light Dragons.
Habitat: Deserts or Volcanos
Strengths/Weaknesses: Impervious to Heat and Fire, Can't breathe fire in cold climate, Must be well fed to maintain fire, Loses Energy through use of fire breath

Water Class
Common
Special Ability: Water Blasts
Rather than breathing fire, these dragons are able to "breathe" streams of water of any temperature at others. They, like fire dragons, can adjust the temperature of the water from ice old to boiling hot. They must be hydrated to use this ability, and while they also pull from their own moisture, they have resevoirs of water in their body they use first. Once their Resevoirs are Empty, they have about 1 to 2 usages before they're completely dehyrdrated and unable to do anymore. At this point it's important that they get access to water asap.
Color Variations: Blues & Purples, Grey & White is Possibly, but Rarer
Size: 7ft to 15 ft at the Shoulder
Traits: Calm, Disdainful at Times, Intelligent, Resourceful, Territorial
Build: Lean and Muscular, almost Lanky. Built for endurance and stamina. Webbed feet build for swimming. Small wings designed for aiding in swim and gliding, not able to use them for true flight. Not scaled, instead thick, leather like skin.
Habitat: Beaches or Aquatic
Strenths/Weaknesses: Get dehydrated faster, skin is sensitive to fire and heat, efficient swimmers and can hold breath for long periods of time, unable to fly but can glide, must be hydrate to use water blast, using ability dehydrates them

Ice Class
Common
Special Ability: Ice Breath
Ice Dragon's ability is simply called "Ice Breath" by most but that doesn't quite cover it. They can breathe ice, they cannot turn things to ice but they can cover them with it. This ability can be use offensively as such, or, more often, Ice dragons have learn to "breathe" the ice onto themselves, coating themselves in an armor of ice that can be regenerated when broken. They can regnerate the amor once fully, or broken spots two to three times depending on the size of the spot needing to be recovered. Once they do that, though, they're fully drained. The Armor only takes the shape of their natural scales, spikes, and horns.
Color Variations: Light Cool Colors, White, and Light Grey. They don't come in Bright Colors.
Size: 7ft to 15ft at the Shoulder
Traits: Stoic, Cold, Distant, Independent, Intuitive
Build: Slightly Leaner in Frame, but Bulkier than Water Dragons, Thick Hide and Scales to Keep them Insulated, Can be Furred. Built for Stamina and Strength, but not as much for Speed. Average sized Wings, Average speed when Flying. In general, more Average in General in terms of Size and Build.
Habitat: Snowy Terrains
Strenths/Weaknesses: Impervious to the Cold, but Cannot Generate Ice in Hot Environments. Fire Attacks do Greater Damage against them. Have natural Camoflauge in the Snow Terrains. They often Hibernate when Drained, or when it gets too Hot [degrees of 100 F and above]. They cannot fly when covered in Ice. Cannot freeze to Death.

Earth Class
Common
Special Ability: Acid Spit
This is an ability that's primary function is to air in burrowing. The spit has a mild decaying aspect, and soften hardened ground to make digging easier. It's relatively harmless to dragons, though irritating to them and more so humans, however, it's entirely painful and can cause terrible damage if taken to the eyes. They have acid glands, which have a limited quantity that replenish over time (talking hours).
Color Variations: Greens & Browns, More Metallic Colors are Rarer
Size: 11ft to 19ft at the Shoulders; They can be Shorter Depending on Build
Traits: Calm, Serious, Determined, Hard Working
Build: Earth Dragons are one of the largest classes, and are the bulkiest. Heavily muscled, the carry around a heavy assortment of scales. They can be built like battening rams which can make them slow. They cannot fly, but can have small wings or frills on the legs and sides that allow them to glide.
Habitat: Forests
Strengths/Weaknesses: Large and Powerful, Cannot Truly Fly, But they Can Glide if they have a Form of Wing, Climb and Burrow is possible too, Tend to be Slower Moving, Need lots of Rest, Acid Breath is Mild and is only a mild irritant to others unless it gets in the eyes, Naturally more Armored, Sensitive to Cold

Air Class
Uncommon
Special Ability: Wind Tunnel
The Air Class ability is pretty much exactly as it sounds, their jaws produce a wind tunnel that can either create a tunnel of wind of varying speed and velocity. The wind itself cannot cause harm, but strong winds can throw things, including beings light enough to be lifted, which can end up damaging anyone caught within it's range. Those outside of it's line of fire [about maximum 20 feet in a conical shape] will feel the wind, but are out of harms way. Air dragons can choose the direction the wind blow too, so they can push or pull things, though it is only either away from them or towards them, they cannot actually throw a specific target in a specific direction.
Color Variations: Pale Colors, Including White or Pastels
Size: 6ft - 12ft at the Shoulders
Traits: Peaceful, Passive, Compassionate, Light Hearted, Easy Going
Build: Slim, petite dragons with large wings for their bodies. Fastest of the dragons when flying. Not very hardy in comparison to others, slim figure built for speed and agility. Smallest of all the dragons. They often have talons on their wings to use to anchor them when using their ability as the force of it can push them backwards.
Habitat: Mountain Tops
Strengths/Weaknesses: Lungs are better able to filter oxygen, can fly higher for longer, more resistant to temperature changes, fast flyers and few larger dragons can keep up. Pretty stealthy since they're smaller and faster.

Venom Class
Uncommon
Special Ability: Invenomation
The Venom Class is pretty self explanatory to a degree, they're dragons who have Venom and are able to Invenomate others. Each Dragons' Venom is different in terms of Potency, but all of them are curable with the right treatment, basically a Natural Anti-Venom. Most Dragon Venom is Nonlethal, it's merely used as a way to weaken a Dragon's target, whether it be for hunting or for fighting. It might still be excruciatingly Painful to get through, but for the most part the Venom itself is unlikely to kill, there are exceptions though [like if the dragon bites multiple times and ends up unloading it's entire venom amount]. Venom Dragons have about three to four good and strong Invenomating Bites in them [or whatever way they inflict their venom]. Once they're drained, they'll recover their venom from eating and time, their body naturally generating the venom itself, but it's a process and it takes time and requires nutrition. Each Dragon's Venom has a different effect, but it all works towards the same goal: weaken the target so it can be killed or escaped easier.Venom has only physical affects, it cannot cause halluncinations, etc. Typically most of them simply cause pain, but the way the pain feels can vary per dragon.
Color Variations: More Earthy, Natural Tones. Naturally Patterened for Camoflauge.
Size: 6ft - 14ft at the Shoulders
Traits: Territorial, More Reclusive/Solitary, Verbally Bold, A Bit Aggressive
Build: Average to Smaller Sized Dragons, Designed to be Quick and Agile they do not have the Bulk or Physical Strength of Larger Dragons. They tend to have a Very Streamlined build, and are definitely More Snake-Like or Lizard Like than Other Dragons.
Habitat: Variable, but Deserts are Most Common
Strengths/Weaknesses: Once they're out of Venom it Takes about 24 Hours for their Glands to be Full Again if they Eat. They Can only Invenomate Through One Process [Teeth, Fangs, Spitting, Spikes, etc.]. They can Choose How Much Venom to Use at a Time, using Lower Dosages means their Venom Lasts Longer but the Effects of it are Weaker. Each Venom has it's own Natural Cure, plus Invenomation can be Cured by a Lunar Dragon's Healing Aura.

Storm Class
Uncommon
Special Ability: Lightning Breath
The Storm Class of Dragon is feared for it's lightning breath, though it isn't as dangerous as it appears. They have the ability to charge and then unleash blasts, or bolts, of lightning from their jaws at their targets of varying degrees. The strength of the attack can be from anything of a little static shock like thing where it's a bit of a discomfort, but harmless, to the same strength of lightning from a storm. It's hurt, fry things that are too small, and can be fatal if the targets heart cannot handle the attack. It also will have a momentarily stunning affect when strong enough, but it only lasts about 10-15 seconds at maximum effect on average to smaller sized targets, larger targets only about 5-10 seconds. Some dragons don't use their jaws, but instead use their horns to conduct their attacks.
Storm Dragons can only produce about 3 to 4 fully charged attacks before being depleted of strength. Can they be devastating, but once they're out, they're out. They charge through the energy storms create, and quicker if struck by lightning [they're a natural magnet to it].
Color Variations: Dark Colors. Usually Two Toned.
Size: 9ft - 18ft at the Shoulders
Traits: Confident, More Solitary, Can be Loud, Aggressive, Serious
Build: Tall and Well Muscled, Large or Big but not in a Stocky or Thiccc way. Their Large Builds are Accompanied by Large Wings, some of the Largest for the Dragon Classes.
Habitat: Mountains, or Humid/Rainy Areas
Strengths/Weaknesses: Immune to Storms or Lightning, and Resistant to Water and Fire Attacks, but not Immune. Can create a Booming [harmless] Sound from Flapping their Wings Hard a Specific Way. The Lightning Attacks have a Charge up Time, the Stronger Attack the Longer the Time [10 Seconds for the Strongest Attacks]. Their Attacks are Difficult to Control and Aim. The Lightning can start Fire if it strikes dry foilage. They don't handle extreme temperature well, and don't do well in super dry climate.

Lunar Class
Uncommon
Special Ability: Lunar Aura
The Lunar Dragon has a very Unique ability unlike any other dragon, one that isn't supposed to be offensive or even defensive. Instead, their's is more Supportive. A Lunar Class dragon's ability is to create an aura around themselves that will heal themselves and anyone within range until the Lunar Class is drained, or everyone is healed. This can be directly focused into someone, but it requires all of the Lunar Dragon's concentration, otherwise it will not work. There isn't anything truly offensive about this aura, at most it might be a bit uncomfortable for others as it can be a bit cold and sometimes a bit thick or slimey since it's pure energy that is radiating around the dragon, but it doesn't do any harm. It's important to note that the Healing Aura can not bring anyone back from the death, or prevent it from happening. If something is dying, the Aura will simply make them more comfortable so, perhaps, they don't die in pain.
Color Variations: Often 1 Base Color. Shades of Grey, Blue, and Purple, and White. Black Markings Common.
Size: 8ft - 16ft at the Shoulders
Traits: Elusive, Observant, Empathetic, Quiet, Light Hearted
Build: More Average Size to Tall in Height with a Lean Build, Often Long Wings. They are more similar in size to Ice Dragons, but with Leaner, Thinner Build. Almost like a Cross between Air and Ice Dragons.
Habitat: Slightly Cooler Regions
Strengths/Weaknesses: They cannot Recharge during the Day, New Moon, or Lunar Eclipse. They Don't do well with Heat or Fire Attacks. Mildly Resistant to the Cold. They Cannot Heal Mortal Wounds. If they deplete themelves, and then are Wounded, they cannot heal themselves until they're in Moonlight. They are Strongest at Night, as they Recharge as long as theyre in Moonlight.

Dream Class
Rare
Special Ability: Dream Manipulation [Including Daydreams & Nightmares]
The Manipulation of Dreams, whether they be during the day or night, a short nap or a long slumber, is the primary basis of a Dream Class Dragon's powers. They have the ability to control the dreams of whomever they desire. They aren't omniscient, so they don't know their worst fears or nightmares, but they can basically make them dream whatever they desire [within reason]. This does mean they can give you the worst Nightmare they can think of, or the sweetest purest dreams. It also means they can take them too. Dream dragons cannot physically hurt others with their Dreams, but they can make them so vivid it causes them to lash out in reality, inadvertently hurting themselves. If they push hard enough, they can get people to act out in their sleep or sleep walk, which, if they're having nightmares, might cause them to attack others.

Most Dream Dragons who are Old Enough to Learn How can also Project Themselves into the Dreams of other, controlled by her or not. They cannot cause harm to anyone while inside another's dream, more so they're just there to spend time or comminucate with you for some reason. Typically Dream Dragons have to be within the vacinity of whoever's dream they're jumping into.

Dream Dragons Must sleep in order to recharge after using their abilities, until they've slept enough to recharge, they are dreamless.
Color Variations: Vivid Colors, White, Typically Multi-Colored
Size: 6ft - 13ft at the Shoulders
Traits: Whimsical, Empathetic, Intelligent, More Free Spirited, Imaginative
Build: Dream Dragons tend to be Smaller, more Lithe Dragons with a Lean Builds. They aren't bulky or overtly muscular. They're more so built for Speed, Agility, and, Unsurprisingly, Stealth. Their Wings are Well Proportioned to their Bodies, and they're one of the Few Dragons who can Fly Completely Silent at Times.
Habitat: Forests, Flower Fields, Mossy Caves They Aren't Picky, Just Needs to be Peaceful
Strengths/Weaknesses: Despite their Bright Appearances, They're Difficult to Follow when they Get Moving, Dream Dragons themselves have Natural Mental Fortitude that Makes them Impervious to any form of Mental Attack, They can only Use their Ability on Someone they can See and they Cannot Prevent them from Waking up, Dream Walking does leave Dream Dragons vulnerable as their sense are dulled incredibly when in another's dream.

Light Class
Rare
Special Ability: Blinding Light
Light Dragons can emit a flash of blinding light, think flash bang without the bang, which can temporarily blind and/or stun opponents. They have one good charge in them before they need to rest for an average of 3 hours to even get enough for anything useful. They can all use it in a more mild manor where they illuminate their body, something that doesn't require much energy, and might even be more natural. This is controlled though, and can be turned off. This is recharged through the sun. They can also direct this as a beam of light through this jaws, which has the same affect.
Color Variations: Gold, White, Silver, & Opalescent/Pearlescent
Size: 8ft - 17ft at the Shoulder; Their Wings Make Then Look Taller
Traits: Good, Calm, Kind, Open, Intelligent & Wise
Build: Light Dragons, like Dark Dragons, Vary Considerably in Size. They can either be smaller to large, with wings that are commonly on the larger side. They tend to have leaner, but powerful builds without being overtly bulky. Because they're rare, there is less known about them.
Habitat: Anywhere, Like to Live Among Other Dragons (Espeically Air Dragons)

Able to emit noxious gas that is dark in color, Dark Dragons primarily use their ability for defense. It provides cover, the dark plume both physically hiding them as well as causing confusion within anyone trapped within the fog or inhales it too much (3+ breaths). If too much of the gas is inhaled, it can cause hallucinations, and eventual unconsciousness. The gas is fueled by a chemical reaction caused from stored minerals gain from mushrooms. When those stores are empty, they can't create it. The smog can also emit from glands beneath the wings and at the tip of the tail.

Special Ability: The Sight
The Seer Class of Dragon have a Unique Ability, like several other dragons do, that is not seen in any other type. Rather than having an offensive or defensive ability, Seer dragon's have a more intel based ability. They are able to use one or both of their eyes to see through the eyes of others animals. They do not control this animal, though they can communicate with it telepathically to look in a certain direction when they are inside their mind. Seer Class dragons cannot cause any harm when in the minds of an animal, they cannot read any thoughts unless they are directed at them specifically, and they cannot force them to do anything. They are, basically, just there for the ride to see what the animal sees. While they are there, the animal can still see just fine, but they are aware of the extra presence within their head.
With Dragons, the Seer Class must gain permission to see through their eyes, but they can be difficult to shut out once permission is granted. If a dragon wishes to grant them long term access, the two must touch their foreheads together and verbally speak permission and acceptance.
While looking through the eyes of another animal, dragon or other, the Seer Class is vulnerable, as their senses are decreased, as their mind is focused through the eyes of another. This means they don't always have the reflexes or time to respond to an attack if they are found Seering. It takes them about 5 to 10 Seconds to completely reorientate into their own body basically.
Color Variations: Varying Shades of Whites, Brown, Greys, and Greens.
Size: 10ft - 18ft at the Shoulder
Traits: Solitary, Stoic, Quiet, Observant, Calm
Build: Tall Dragons with a Large, but Lean Build. They aren't Super Bulky, but their Height can make them Appear So. They often have Unique Appearances to help Camofluage them. Typically Always Scaled for Better Protection. Not Very Fast.
Habitat: Forests or Cliffs
Strengths/Weaknesses: They cannot Move when Seering, they can be present enough to Speak when they are to whoever is around them, but they cannot fight, move, etc. They can quickly switch from target to target. They can see anything that they eyes they're looking through see. They must rest after projecting, if they don't they can die from over exerting themselves. They can Seer for about 20 Minutes before being Completely Exhausted.

The Dragoness is a Beautiful creature, one that appears to bare some sort feline and avian resemblance within her features. She stands at a rather average height for her species at 13 feet at the shoulder, though it makes her several feet shorter than other dragons. The alabaster female is unique in her appearance, considering that she is furred and feathered instead of the standard scaley appearance, or even just the bare hide. She has a lean build, something that is athletically muscular but not in a bulky way. She is more streamlined or toned, like the build of feline that is lean and muscular, and just as lethal as bulkier creatures, but with more litheness to her.

True to her more feline-esque build, the female has longer, more agile legs than other dragons, making her quite capable of moving on the ground easily. However, instead of having more hand like feet though, her front paws are more like a lions, whereas her back are somewhere inbetween a feline's and a bears, seeing as how they're larger and have less utility. They're incredibly well padded, allowing her to move around quietly and stealthily. Syvne has a long tail, one that is slightly longer than the length of her body, along with it being prehensile in nature. The female's tail is furred, like the rest of her body, with longer fur at the base of her tail while the rest if quite short. However, there is no form of weapon on the tail itself, so while it can be used as such, there is no blade like fixture or anything else on it.

Syvne's head is an unusual shape, one that is hard to describe to a degree without actually seeing it [thankfully there is a picture]. It's almost diamond, or triangular shape, much like a human's heart shaped face, with a narrower but rounded snout. There is a delicateness about the female's frame in general, and the elegant contours of her face are testimony to that. Upon her head is a pair of long horns, about 3 or so feet in length if they were straightened out. However, instead of jutting straight back, they curve backwards for a moment, before curling back forward in a semi-circle until the tips are pointing at where the base of her horns start. She has a slightly longer neck, though not as long as others, that is slender but still wrapped with powerful, ropey muscle. If there is one thing about the female that it is evident, it's the sheer amount of elegant and grace that exudes from the dragoness. Syvne sports a pair of a large feathered wings, complimenting her appearance seamlessly.

The dragoness has a pair of sharp, angular eyes that are a dark, charcoal grey in color. Around the eyes, like most animals, are thick, black outlines, accentuating her eyes and making her appear mor exotic. The curved claws on all her paws are similar in color, though perhaps a shade or two off, though this color matches the color of her paw pads. The claws on her feet are exactly like a lions, though much longer and deadlier, being as how they're made to fit her body instead of a smaller creature's. The long horns that adorn her skull are close to this same color, however, they're slightly lighter in hue, being a more silvery color than anything.

As mentioned before, Syvne is not scaled like the standard dragon, instead she's primarily made up of fur and feathers. She has longer fur on her chest, flanks, as well as on the base of her tail, whereas her fur shortens on the rest of her body and tail, only being about an inch or two in these areas. However, Syv also has feathers on portions of her body. Obviously there is her head, where the feathers start as short and small feathers that begin on her head around her eyes and cheeks, but they lengthen as they reach the back of her head. There several, much longer feathers exist, creating almost like a crest or crown there, making the back of her head appear triangular instead of round. From there, the feathers begin to shorten as they travel down the back of her neck, eventually fading into the fur of the rest of her body or the feathers of her wings. There is the odd feather here and there that is sporadically spread throughout the rest of her fur too.

If it weren't clear yet, the Ice Dragoness has exactly one color on her body, and that is pure ivory. The female dragon is a canvas of alabaster, with no other color marring her physique except the silvery grey color of her horns, claws, and eyes. Her fur, feathers, all of it are all white, and she is adamant about keeping herself clean and well groomed.

Ice Breath
Ice Dragon's ability is simply called "Ice Breath" by most but that doesn't quite cover it. They can breathe ice, they cannot turn things to ice but they can cover them with it. This ability can be use offensively as such, or, more often, Ice dragons have learn to "breathe" the ice onto themselves, coating themselves in an armor of ice that can be regenerated when broken. They can regnerate the amor once fully, or broken spots two to three times depending on the size of the spot needing to be recovered. Once they do that, though, they're fully drained. The Armor only takes the shape of their natural scales, spikes, and horns.
Strengths & Weaknesses:
Strengths
+ Pretty much Invulnerable to the Cold. In fact she's at home in even some of the coldest climates and invironments.
+ Has natural camoflauge in snow, ice, and even in the clouds.
+ Mentally very intelligent and calculating.

Weaknesses
- The heat. Fire too. She cannot generate ice in temperatures that are too warm [100 F +].
- Her maneuverability is decreased when fully covered in ice armor.
- She has fur, and while it protects her, it doesn't do as much as scales [hence the ice armor]

Appearance:

Brontes is a male with impressive height for his class. Standing at the tallest he can get, roughly 12 feet at the shoulder[i forgot to adjust it to 15 ft for this rp. He is really 19 @ the shoulder lmao]. His build is leaner, and slightly muscular, making him almost lanky looking. Brontes is built for endurance and stamina, he can keep quite a good pace for a long time in the water, with his strong swimming skills. It also helps that his feet are webbed, it’s a leathery material that connects his “toes”. Dragons have many varieties of scales. Except this dragon doesn't really have any, but instead, a thick, leathery skin, and has a pattern similar to a crocodile, though smoother. The color ranges from dark blues to light blues, helping him blend in with his surroundings underwater. The main color of this dragon is a dark blue, which takes up his entire back, top of his legs, top of his tail, and neck. His frill is the lightest variation of Blue he has besides his eyes.

The frill is similar to that of a frilled lizard, as well as the webbing in his feet. His frill looks more similar to scales but still has the leathery texture that the rest of him has. This frill is semi-circular and is underneath his mouth, and on the side of his face. Instead of the edges being round like the Frilled lizard, the shape is shaped similar to a “W” and continues in that pattern around the whole edge of the frill, every other point having a small ivory claw at the end. The length of his frill is nearly one foot long, and the skin around it is thin. He can tuck it against the side of his face, almost making it seem as if it isn’t there, it only comes out as a display of dominance to make him seem larger, or if he is tense or stressed.

This male does have horns, but instead of sticking straight up they are more laid back, Brontes has four in total. Two on his forehead that runs straight back with a slight curve, the tip bending downward. Then one on either side of those two, with the tips curved upward slightly. They are the same blue as his chest, described below. This dragon's head is slender and thinner.

The rest of his features are more suitable for quick swimming underwater. He has a spiked fin underneath his jaw, as well on the back of his neck, and a longer tail. His legs can tuck neatly under him as he glides through the water, and are powerful, allowing him to speed through the water.

The other markings on this dragon include lighter blue/grey spots along his neck and face. The color on his entire underside goes from the middle of his chest downwards and is more of a dark teal variation. Brontes’s eyes are a bright blue and have a marking the same color directly above his eye. When his eyes are closed it gives the illusion that his eyes are above, so in a sudden attack one would miss his actual eyes. His wings are small and used to help aid him in swimming and gliding, though they still look proportionate to his body. He can try and flap them enough to get him off the ground, but he never is in the air for more than a second or two, his weight and small wings are not a flying combination. True flight is never accomplished.

Armor: As for Armor, Brontes can be found sporting sharpened silver caps over his horns. They are made of strong metal and extend an extra inch or two. He does like to use his horns in battle, so the extra sharp tips come in handy. he has a similar spike on the end of his tail, though it has smaller barbs on it meant to snag and catch the opponent.

While this may not seem like much, his thicker skin/scales also act as a natural "shield" or barrier.

Brontes is a calm dragon, yes he can be a bit grumpy towards the rest of his species but never truly out of anger towards them. He can and will rage if his rider is harmed by someone, whether it's an accident or not. This can consist of a blast from what he calls his "water breath", a stern reprimanding, or he can take it to a whole other level. A feeling of guilt does come from seeing his rider hurt, thinking he could have done more to protect them even if it wasn't his fault. Brontes is also quite the territorial creature, it's part of his nature and he considers his Rider his territory. Hence the guilt if someone happens to them. If they are harmed he has let down his guard. Touch them or think about touching them and you will earn a stone-cold stare.

Being territorial also applies to his personal space, he tends to be grumpy because he hates to be so close to people, however, his rider is a major exception and he prefers to be around them. Dragons are slightly different, he does prefer their company to other humans but sometimes finds them too much. His personal space is considered his territory as well, so if it's invaded or you're too close he'll let you know. He is good with communication like that.

While he is good with communication if he starts to get frustrated he may begin to lack in that aspect a little bit. This male is normally in a somewhat grumpy mood, however, this has only been due to recent events. With the Academy going under attack, his mood has shifted. This has amped up how territorial and protective he normally is. This has also affected whatever feelings he has towards the new riders and their dragons. Begining to grow more protective over them due to the traumatic recent events. He feels the need to watch over them more and keep tabs on them. Though this has led to him putting a little more pressure on the dragons, due to being able to communicate with them his goal is to help them focus so that their rider has a smoother time learning to ride.

The stress and pressure of this situation have forced him to be more verbal, as well as physical. Verbal in the sense that he speaks up more to guide his dragons better, and physical in the sense that he will give more of a demonstration when explaining it all. He is a collected figure, however, he still has his days. Brontes may be more grumpy or impatient, seemingly fighting the calmer nature a water class dragon has.

This dragon is cool in battle, he has a strong stomach and can handle the sight of destruction and carnage in battle. Of course, he has seen some of the carnage left behind from the initial attack the Academy received, so that experience has made him somewhat ready for whatever he will face next, so a bad reaction will not be expected of him. Due to his experiences, Brontes is a pretty resourceful dragon and is ready to help pass on his skills to the new Dragons and their riders. He can be a bit strict at times you won't see an overly snappy or impatient teacher. He believes the Dragons and their riders must learn discipline, during a battle they must not get distracted and their moves should be fluent and coordinated. Dragon and ride must work correctly as a team. While he still is considered a young adult, he is as old as the oldest trainee and does have years of experience and training time on them. He won't tolerate disrespect.

This dragon is very intelligent for his species, and though he cannot directly communicate with riders other than his own, he has learned about body language and how the frequency of their voice means specific emotions. From this, he can express what he needs to the rider's dragon in order to better understand the situation. [ I am a little unsure of the extent of communication a dragon might have with a human who is not their rider, so this is subject to change. ] He was able to obtain this skill through years of being exposed to humans and riders.

Brontes is a patient male and is able to pick up on a technique with much more ease due to his experience and understanding. He realizes that the newer rides won't have this skill right away and is willing to wait a little longer for them to attain it. If he notices a pair in particular struggling he will intervene. His wisdom, skill, and size, may also lead to some disdainment towards humans. Especially due to dragons wielding a greater amount of power compared to them, and a rider who is not willing to work with their dragon will cause this aspect of him to rise more. Though his bond with his Rider will help him overcome this feeling shortly after.

As mentioned before, Brontes enjoys his space, as well as some independence. Though he does find it nice to occasionally have some small talk outside of training. He is more open to those of his class, though he is more willing to talk, and rather likes it when he is approached with questions that will better a dragons riding with their rider. He also enjoys the company of some of the older dragons in the group. His speech is mostly clear and to the point, though he may have a few sarcastic remarks. Concerning a serious topic you won't have to deal with sarcasm, he will be straight and to the point.

Rider: The Squad Leader

Ability: Rather than breathing fire, these dragons are able to "breathe" streams of boiling water at others. They, like fire dragons, can adjust the temperature of the water. They must be hydrated to use. Lack of Hydration = Lack of Water. Usage does dehydrate.

His abilities are used in combination with his horns and other fighting abilities, though he tries to only use them when necessary.

Strengths & Weaknesses:

-Water, is both a strength and a weakness in this case. This dragon needs to stay hydrated to function properly, and using its water blast will dehydrate them. But being in a habitat where water is plentiful, they can use it to their advantage. Their water blasts will dehydrate them, but if they were in a source of water, it could keep them going for a longer period of time since they could rehydrate quickly.
-Size, is definitely one of his strengths. Being lean and muscular, almost lanky, his build is more for endurance and stamina. Brontes can keep swimming for a long period of time.
-Swimming, is another one of his strengths. His webbed feet are definitely an asset when it comes to it, and since his habitat is in the water, he has grown to be an amazing swimmer.
-Flying and Heat, this male can hardly fly, his class does more of a glide and are more water-bound than some of the other dragons. Heat also greatly affects him, as his skin is sensitive to it. Both of these make it hard to keep up on land with other dragons.
-Heights, something he cannot attain easily, since he cannot fly. Though maybe climbing is a thing? It is also somewhat of a fear, Brontes rather spend time in the depths of in ocean than thousands of feet in the air. He likes to have his feet in the water thank you very much.
Likes
-Water, and food, the water is cooling and calming to be in, and being a water dragon his hunting skills peak underwater, due to his food source being all around him.
-Nighttime, everything is calm, peaceful, and quiet. It is this dragon's favorite time to relax, stars fascinate this creature. Don’t disturb him during his sacred time or he’ll eat you :’)
-Space, being territorial, Brontes does like to be separated on his own claim of the water/land at times. He is also picky about how close you might stand next to him, he likes his little bubble of personal space. He doesn't care if his rider "invades it"
Dislikes:
-Fire dragons, Brontes generally dislikes the fire dragons due to them having some sort of power over him since they can dry him out and leave him defenseless. He won't have an issue with them unless they mess with him.
-Any type of heat, he rather freeze than be anywhere near a source of heat. He hates fire with a passion and will put any and all out with his water breath, even if it dehydrates him.
-Being corrected, Brontes is Squad leader for a reason, having someone try to "correct him" rubs him the wrong way. He has more experience and knowledge, so for someone with less experience to try and tell him otherwise is maddening
