Kamali has always been a demon, and some of his old habits don’t fade easily. He’s learned that sometimes to do the right thing, he has to walk through darkness. He doesn’t enjoy hurting others, but if someone is evil and hurting the innocent, Kamali won’t hesitate to threaten them. And if it means protecting others, he’ll kill.
He doesn’t do it out of anger or for fun. He does it because he knows that if he doesn’t, more people will suffer. The moral choice, in his mind, is simple: stop the bad guys, no matter the cost.
He’s not blind to what he’s doing. He knows that hurting others, even for the right reason, is still wrong. But when it’s life or death, and someone has to make that choice, Kamali is the one who will do what needs to be done. It’s all part of the price of keeping people safe, even if it means getting his hands dirty. For him, the good that comes from his actions outweighs the horror of what he's done.
Personality
Loyal. Kamali isn’t someone who just hands out loyalty. You have to earn it, and once you do, he’s in your corner no matter what. He’s not the type to backstab or betray someone he trusts. If he’s promised to stand by you, he will, through thick and thin. It doesn’t matter how tough things get or what’s at stake—Kamali will always have your back, even if it means putting himself in danger.
Ruthless. When it comes to getting what he wants, Kamali doesn’t care about the cost. He’ll do whatever it takes to win, no matter who gets hurt in the process. If it’s a choice between mercy and getting the job done, he’ll choose to be cold and decisive. He doesn’t waste time on things like empathy or second chances, especially if it’s standing in the way of his goal.
Protective. Kamali has a deep need to protect those he cares about. He doesn’t let anyone hurt the people he loves, and he’ll go to extreme lengths to keep them safe. Whether it’s standing between them and danger or going after anyone who’s a threat, Kamali isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty if it means ensuring their safety. He might not show it all the time, but his need to protect is always there, lurking.
Morally Gray. Kamali doesn’t see the world in black and white. He knows that sometimes you have to make hard choices, and not all of them are going to be pretty. What’s “right” and “wrong” isn’t always clear, and he’s fine with that. He’ll make the tough calls even if they don’t fit into the nice little boxes of good and bad. He does what needs to be done, even if it isn’t always clean or fair.
Cynical. Kamali doesn’t believe in the good of people. He’s seen enough to know that most people are selfish and out for themselves. He doesn’t trust easily, and he’s quick to assume the worst in people. He doesn’t expect anyone to save him or be there for him, so why should he expect it from others? Life’s harsh, and Kamali’s learned to survive by expecting nothing but disappointment.
Compassionate. Despite all his darkness, Kamali has a soft side. He genuinely cares about people who are struggling. He can’t stand to see others in pain, especially when it’s something he can do something about. He’s not always vocal about it, but if you need help and he’s in a position to give it, Kamali won’t hesitate. His compassion is one of the few things that keeps him from being completely consumed by the darkness inside him.
Honorable. Kamali might not follow the law, but he follows his own code. He believes in doing what’s right, even if it’s the hard choice. He doesn’t betray his word, and he sticks to his promises. In his world, that’s what matters. It doesn’t matter if the world sees him as a monster—Kamali knows that his honor is what keeps him from losing himself completely.
Violent. Kamali isn’t afraid of getting his hands dirty. When things get out of hand, he’s the first one to throw a punch. He’s quick to violence, especially when someone’s threatening what he cares about. He doesn’t hesitate or second-guess—it’s just instinct for him. Sometimes he regrets it later, but in the moment, violence is the quickest way to get results, and Kamali doesn’t mind using it when it’s needed.
Vengeful. Kamali doesn’t forget when he’s wronged. If someone hurts him or someone he cares about, he’s going to make sure they pay for it. He doesn’t forgive easily, and his need for revenge can burn deep. He’ll go after anyone who’s hurt him, and he won’t stop until he feels like the score is settled. It might take time, but Kamali is patient when it comes to getting the revenge he thinks he deserves.
Type of Neurodiversity
Autism, BPD
ASD is Autism Spectrum Disorder. It means you think and see the world differently. People with ASD might struggle with social cues, changes in routine, or sensory stuff like noise and touch. But they’re also super focused, logical, and honest. They just process things in their own way, which can make connecting with others hard sometimes.
BPD is Borderline Personality Disorder. It’s about feeling everything way too much. People with BPD can have intense emotions, fear being abandoned, and struggle to keep relationships steady. They might act on impulse or switch between loving someone and being angry at them. It’s like living on an emotional rollercoaster all the time.
Kamali has both. He’s got that strong focus and black-and-white thinking from ASD, which pushes him to stick to his own moral code. But the BPD makes him feel everything too hard—like guilt, anger, or the need to protect. It’s why he’ll do something extreme, like kill, if it means protecting people or proving his worth. His struggles with trust and his fear of losing people make his loyalty fierce, but his emotions sometimes push him to go too far. It’s a messy balance, but it’s part of who he is.
Appearance
Kam's eyes are a deep, rich purple with a faint splash of pale pink, like someone dropped paint in a still pool. On Earth, he hides them behind light blue contacts to blend in, though people still assume he’s cosplaying whenever he forgets to wear them. His hair is black, unnaturally so, but he’s dyed it a dark brown that looks more human. It’s always soft and medium length, styled like those polished Hollywood actors—he doesn’t know the name of the cut, but it works.
His skin used to shift from ghostly pale to shadowy dark depending on his mood or purpose. Now, it’s stuck at a pale, sun-kissed tone that fits the human world better. Kam’s body reflects a life of wearing armor—muscular but lean, built for strength and speed. He stands at 6'3", tall enough to be noticed, but not so much that he screams “demon.”
Kam’s wings are gone, torn away long before he set foot on Earth, leaving behind nothing but the memory of what he used to be. His horns, though, remain, curling back and forward like a goat’s, sharp and undeniable. His tail, black and dragon-like with a spear tip, is also hidden from human eyes but visible to angels, demons, and other fallen.
He keeps his style simple to avoid standing out too much. Hoodies, sweatpants, sneakers, or boots make up most of his wardrobe. Everything he wears is either black or white, with maybe one or two red shirts thrown in. Sometimes, he adds a touch of gold with chains around his neck or rings on his fingers, a small reminder of the pride he refuses to fully let go of.
Voice & Accent
Kam’s voice is deep, smooth, and calm, like he’s always thinking through his words before he speaks. There’s a rough edge to it, just enough to make it sound like he’s been through hell and came out scarred but steady. His tone stays low, almost like a quiet growl, but there’s power in it that makes you listen even if he’s not trying to be intimidating.
He’s got a Canadian accent that softens some of his words, giving them a natural flow that’s easy to listen to, but there’s nothing over the top about it. It’s just a subtle hint of where he might have been hanging around. When Kam gets angry, his voice sharpens, like a blade cutting through, and when he’s calm, it’s like a low rumble that settles in your chest. It’s the kind of voice that sticks with you, like it’s impossible to forget.
Type of Supernatural
Demon (Risen)
A risen demon is kind of stuck in the middle. They’re not good enough to move on and become human or an angel, but they’re not bad enough to stay in Hell either. It’s like Hell spit them out because they didn’t belong anymore, but Heaven and Earth aren’t ready to fully accept them. Risen demons are trying to be good, but it’s not easy. They’re still demons, so all their old instincts and habits are still there, just buried under their effort to change. It’s not a clean break. It’s messy. Kamali was a wrath demon before, which means his anger, his violence, his need to fight—it’s all still part of him. He’s trying to use it for good now, like standing up for people or protecting them, but sometimes the lines blur. Being a risen demon means walking that blurry line every day, fighting your nature while trying to prove you’re more than what you were. It’s exhausting, but it’s also a chance, and Kamali clings to that chance even if it’s hard.
Strengths
Heat Resistance. Kam doesn’t flinch at heat. The hottest days don’t faze him, and standing near open flames feels like nothing more than a warm breeze. Fire doesn’t burn him the way it should, and he can walk through heat that would have others dripping sweat in seconds. He’s not immune to it, but his tolerance is so high that it takes something extreme to even make him uncomfortable. It’s like his body remembers the fires of Hell and decided they weren’t worth worrying about anymore.
Shadow Sight. Kam can see perfectly in the dark, like the shadows themselves are his allies. Whether it’s a pitch-black room or a moonless night, nothing hides from him. The lack of light isn’t a problem—it’s almost comforting. It gives him an edge, letting him spot things no one else would in the dark. Sometimes, it feels like the darkness bends around him, letting him see things that aren’t even supposed to be visible.
High Pain Threshold. Pain isn’t a weakness for Kam—it’s just something to deal with. He feels it, sure, but it doesn’t stop him. A stab wound, a burn, or a heavy punch will make him pause, but he’ll keep going like it’s nothing. It’s not that he’s invincible; he just knows how to push through. Pain is like background noise to him, something to acknowledge and then ignore. It’s one of the few things that makes him feel like he’s still in control, even when everything else is chaos.
Spice Tolerance. Kam has an unnatural love for spicy food, the hotter, the better. It’s like his taste buds are fireproof, and he doesn’t even flinch when eating something most people wouldn’t dare touch. The heat doesn’t bother him; if anything, he enjoys it. The burn feels familiar, like a reminder of where he came from, but in a way that’s comforting instead of painful. It’s not just a party trick—it’s a small piece of himself that he actually likes.
Weaknesses
Overstimulation. Kam can easily get overstimulated, especially in crowded or chaotic situations. Loud noises, bright lights, and too much going on at once mess with his head. When it gets too much, he can’t focus or think straight, and he becomes irritable or even shuts down. It’s hard for him to stay calm in those moments, and it can make him less effective at doing what needs to be done.
Bloodlust. Kam struggles with bloodlust, especially when he’s pushed to his limit. In the heat of battle or when he’s angry, he’s tempted to go too far, sometimes craving the violence. It’s not something he enjoys, but it’s part of his nature, and it makes it hard for him to control himself. He has to fight the urge to go overboard, even when it’s not necessary.
Reckless Anger. Reckless anger is something Kam battles constantly. When someone pushes him too far or when things don’t go his way, his temper takes over. He doesn’t always think through his actions, and he’ll act impulsively, causing chaos or even hurting others. His anger clouds his judgment, and in those moments, he’s more of a danger to himself than anyone else.
Vulnerable to Cold. Kam’s body doesn’t do well in cold environments. It’s not that he freezes up completely, but the cold makes him stiff and sluggish. He doesn’t have the same endurance in freezing temperatures, and it slows him down. When the air’s too cold, it’s hard for him to move with the same speed or power he normally has.
Weak Immune System. Kam’s immune system isn’t as strong as you’d think. His demon side doesn’t protect him from sickness the way humans are sometimes protected, so if he’s exposed to viruses or toxins, it can take a lot out of him. He doesn’t get sick easily, but when he does, it hits him hard and slows him down. His body’s recovery time is slower than normal, leaving him weak for a while.
Backstory
Kam was once human, but that was so long ago that the memories are nothing more than whispers in the back of his mind. He can’t remember his name or his face, just that he lived and then died like everyone else. When he passed, he went straight to Hell, where demons like him are born from the sins of humans. Kam was no different. The things he did in his life were so terrible that Hell saw him as nothing more than another lost soul to suffer. And so, he became a demon, one of the many who are twisted by their past mistakes.
For a long time, he accepted it. He fit right in with the others, embracing the chaos, the darkness, and the evil around him. It felt natural, like it was what he was meant to be. He caused pain, destruction, and misery just like all the other demons. It was easy. But over time, something changed. He started to feel tired of it all, like it wasn’t as fun as it once was. The more he hurt others, the more empty he felt inside. He realized that maybe being evil wasn’t the answer. Maybe there was more to existence than causing chaos.
So, Kam decided to change. He wanted to be better, to stop the cycle of violence and hatred he had fallen into. He started trying to help, trying to make the world a better place. He wasn’t sure how, but he thought that doing small things for others would make up for all the bad he’d done. But Hell didn’t like that. They didn’t want a demon who wanted to be good. They kicked him out, sent him up to Earth where he thought he could find some peace.
The problem was, he didn’t belong on Earth either. He wasn’t good enough for Heaven, but he wasn’t bad enough for Hell. So now Kam is stuck, walking among humans, trying to do the right thing but only making things worse. Every time he tries to help, chaos seems to follow him. His good intentions always seem to end up causing more trouble than he ever expected. He doesn’t mean to, but the more he tries to make up for his past, the more things go wrong. Still, he doesn’t give up. Kam is trying. He’s just not sure if he’ll ever truly find a place where he belongs.
Fears/Phobias
Thanatophobia. Kam doesn’t like thinking about dying. He knows he’s already dead, but the thought of it still messes with him. It’s not about the pain, but more about what comes after. He’s stuck in this weird middle place, and the idea of being lost again, of disappearing completely, makes him uneasy. Even though he’s a demon, he doesn’t want to think about what might happen when he’s done with this life. It’s just a constant nagging feeling in the back of his mind.
Atychiphobia. Kam has a fear of messing things up, even if the task is small. If he’s trying to help someone or make things right, the idea of failing can get under his skin. He hates it when things don’t go the way he wants, especially when he’s trying to do good. It makes him feel like all the effort is pointless. It’s a reminder that no matter how hard he tries, he can still mess things up. That fear of failure is a thing he can’t shake.
Globophobia. Balloons are a pain for Kam. The squeaky sound of them rubbing together and the pop when they burst are enough to get on his nerves. He’ll avoid them if he can. If he’s ever stuck in a room with balloons, he’ll get tense, trying not to look at them too much. He’ll try to keep calm, but deep down, he’s waiting for one to pop, and he’s not a fan of the surprise. It’s just something he doesn’t want to deal with.
Lepidopterophobia. Butterflies don’t seem like a big deal, but to Kam, they are. They flutter around all random and unpredictable, and their wings are too delicate. He doesn’t like how they move or how they look. If a butterfly gets too close, he’ll freeze up, trying to avoid it, but not really knowing what to do. He doesn’t want to hurt it, but he’s just uncomfortable with them. He’ll do whatever he can to get away from them, even if it’s a bit embarrassing.

Kam has a bit of a god complex, or maybe a hero complex, depending on the day. He kinda sees himself as someone who can fix things, even if he doesn’t always know how. He wants to make the world better, but sometimes he thinks that means he’s the only one who can do it. If someone’s in trouble, he’ll jump in, even if he has no idea what he’s doing. It’s not like he’s trying to be arrogant or anything, but he just feels like he has to be the one to save the day. It can be a bit much sometimes, and he doesn’t always realize that not everything can be fixed with his fists or his words.
