This is a dumb question but do wolves produce less rare wolves when they’re hungry/thirsty?

Out of 9 new pups only 2 have decent rarity and NONE have boosts or defects even with their parents having some. It’s unfortunate, I’ll have to resort to spawn-killing every one.
