I think it depends where you're at, if you have a decent explore team it's pretty easy to take down bosses. My BE training team can take down bigfoot pretty easily but some of the other bosses are pretty difficult to take down with my other team, but it could just be my wolves trying to spite me In the jungle, my DG team can't take down the NPCs very easily but the forest ones go down fast. They seem fine to me. The infamous six sun bear encounter and others like it are obviously kinda evil, but once you're at a high enough level to be seeing those, you should be able to handle it. It looks like a lot of people think they're too difficult at the moment, but once you have a good explore team the difficulty isn't so bad. it just takes some grinding which can easily be done in lower forest levels. if i could adjust the battle system instead of making npcs weaker I'd make it easier to start gain levels when BE training (like instead of 25, 50, 75 I'd make it something more like 5, 10, 15, 20, 50, 75) also, I'd raise the damage increase from leveling up to motivate BE training! I voted "Other" because it really depends on the situation. However, I believe there are more instances where it's more balanced out than instances where it's too easy or too difficult.

I think it's good as it is. You can use the lower levels to build up your new wolves and with the extra daily character points you can increase their battle skills quicker, which makes it easier. You could possibly have a difficulty toggle so people could choose to play easier or harder with the rewards being greater for the harder setting. But I don't know how difficult that would be to set up. Slightly off topic, I think it would be good to have at least their total character points visable on the explore team selection page.

I voted for "Other" and the reason why has been given by several above me. It honestly depends on which terrain you are on + the level you are on when exploring. With a good team, the NPC's are a bit easy but again, it depends on which level you are on. Basically, it's balanced where you don't get a ton of overpowered creatures at once and the other way around.
(Sun bears are sun bears though, they are probably my worst nightmare when exploring, but a good challenge. xD)

As someone who explores a lot: I think it's perfectly balanced. There are difficult encounters, but there are also very easy ones. Even if you don't have a good battle team to take the hardest npc, you can easily take down the lower terrain levels such and forest 1-10. I'll just say I'd love if elephants were worth a bit more mush. (Why is everyone hating on sun bears? They're the best!) Edited at June 24, 2024 01:48 PM by Revelry
