TW: Slight blood and gore! The emerald gaze of the wolfess couldn't be too cautious. The bodice behind the cautious gaze was that of a fragile looking female with a dark orange and tan body. What the gaze was looking at was a scene of horror... "How could you do something like this!!" Bellowed a large red and white brute. His fur bristled and standing straight up as he circled the stagnant figure that sat unphased by the brutes words. "Well.. Father, how could you leave mother and then proceed to sit around and watch as these fools tortured me! Every waking day after mother died from that illness you've been here!" The voice snarled out. The voice of a rather large female that was well known in the area as Yukon. The daughter of Ireilla and Fenrir. "It's your fault moms dead!" She snarled as she stood, her emerald gaze following her father as her continued to circle around her. "And your siblings?! Who's faults that? There blood isn't on my paws!" He yelled. Yukon would only chuckle, "Again.. I wasn't the one that allowed these fools to torture and pick on me.. Was I? I was tired of not being able to do anything about it!" She whirled and snapped her jaws at the elder wolf. "How could I sit and wait for them too kill me when I could just end my suffering now with ending what they have ALWAYS done to me?!" The brute would jump to his right as his own daughter snapped her bloodied jaws at him. "How dare you!" He snarled and then before they knew it the snarls and growls grew louder.. "STOP IT!!" The two kept going at it, tooth and claw as the snarls continued. Saliva and blood now falling around more so than there already was. Soon, the one who voiced for them to stop stepped from the bushes as Yukon managed to get her father to the ground. "Yukon! Stop!" The reddish orange female whined. The tiger-striped fae had her fangs close to her fathers breathing pipe as she heard the voice. Her pupil slits turning back too normal as she slowly closed her mouth, lifting her broad crania. "Who. Are. You..?" She question, shoving off her father body as he regained his composure, "And how do you know my name..?" Yukon questioned the other as she stalked toward her, white audits flicked back against her crania as her head hung parallel to her shoulders. "S-Saruka.. Your ha-ha-half sister.." The much smaller and slimmer female spoke, her emerald gaze staring into her sisters. Yukon would chuckle as she lifted her head slightly. "Alright.. Saruka.." She spoke with a small, laughing tone. "Whatever you say.. Take our pathetic father and leave.." She stated. "Never come back." She told them, turning to look at their father and grinning before she went at him again, grasping a hold of his one front leg as he got up and snapping it within her grasp. She then released him as she heard a large yelp before she spun and ran off... The end

There's like no plot to this lol I had no inspiration Moriko sighed, watching the set sun on the distant horizon. Asahi really went all out on this one, he thought as wonderful shades of pink and orange spread across the sky. The breeze played with the rabbit fur that was lining his jacket. Before long, the sun had set completely and the moon was out. Moriko stood and stretched, turning away. He let out a loud yelp of surprise as a golden wolf with feathers on his tail materialized. "Asahi! Don't do that, you know how I am!" The sun spirit couldn't answer, and he fell to his side, laughing uncontrollably. "You should have seen your face! Aw man, I don't know why I don't do that as often." "Maybe because it makes people hate you." Moriko murmured, but there was a sparkle in his eyes that meant he didn't mean what he said. "Come on now, let's pay a visit to Yoru. I'm sure she'll enjoy it." That made Asahi stop immediately. "Yoru?? Are you kidding me? Remember what happened last time?" Moriko rolled his eyes and had already started walking. "That was your fault. I told you that she wasn't too keen on... well, your personality." A small whine escaped Asahi's throat. Finally, he stood and ran after Moriko. "Yoru just hates enthusiasm. I mean, who wouldn't like me? I'm friends with everyone!" Moriko scoffed, and Asahi looked alarmed. The conversation ended and the only sound was the sound of pine tree leaves crunching beneath their paws. . Time skip because I'm lazy . Asahi stopped and stared in awe, his jaw agape. It was a gigantic tree, bigger than any he had ever seen before. The trunk was huge, and it looked as if it grew upward for all time. All doubts immediately cleared his head. Yoru definitely enjoys his company, right? Right. Moriko had not stopped, he kept walking and slipped into the tree trunk through a hole as Asahi ran after him. A set of stairs winded up the inside of the trunk. He pushed impatiently past Moriko and continued to run up the stairs, while Moriko stood on a platform in the middle of the winding staircase. He tapped his paw twice on the earthy ground, and the small circle of land he was standing on began to lift. It was an elevator, of sorts. He smirked at Asahi, who had slowed down and now walked up the stairs, his tail drooping. Moriko sat down and enjoyed the ride. Soon, the levitating ground stopped, and Moriko stepped off it. He glanced down the stairs and sighed. Asahi was still one flight of stairs away. Moriko waited patiently and when Asahi breached the top, he stood and began walking again. "Keep up, will you?" The two were inside a huge tree branch now, the innards were sanded down and were incredibly smooth to the touch. Asahi regained his usual vigor when we remembered what they were doing. A laugh escaped him as he sprint ahead of Moriko. "No, Asahi! That's not a good idea!" Asahi paid no attention as he continued to run to the end of the branch. There was a petite blue-gray with gold piercings on one of her ears. wolf sitting on a cushion, gazing at the night sky through a skylight. She looked concentrated. "Yoru!" Asahi exclaimed, tackling her. A small screech, a snarl, and suddenly Asahi was whining and complaining about the small bite mark on his leg. Yoru stood to the side, snarling. Asahi saw a glimmer of light reflecting off one of Yoru's teeth. He gasped, "You have a gold tooth? That's so cool!" He bounded towards her again. Yoru left another small bite mark on his leg. Moriko finally reached them. He sighed at the sight of Asahi, complaining about the bite marks. He walked to Yoru and whispered a few words to her. She stopped snarling and she glared daggers at Asahi. "Could have told me that he was coming." Yoru murmured. Her voice was soft and quiet, but held loathing. "Well, you have to be friends with your other half eventually, right? Or at least acquaintances?" Moriko suggested to the petite moon spirit. She scoffed and shook her head. Asahi bounced up and scampered over. Yoru flinched away from the larger, hyper wolf. His idea was amazing. It would tempt Moriko and he would coax Yoru to come in the hopes that the sun and moon spirits could be closer. "I know! We should go on an adventure together!" (tw fight, threats) She stood at the edge of the hill, staring at the city in front of her. I don’t want to do this… The wind was blowing, a few grains of sand getting in her eyes and causing her to hate this place even more. For a giant city, it had to be in the desert. At least the sun was starting to go down. The only issue now was getting inside without being noticed.
“Stupid sand.” Her eyes scanned the area before noticing an entrance. “Need to get closer,” talking to herself, a pair of wings stretched out from her back and allowed her to take off into the air. It was a little risky since there weren't any trees around to help with cover. And her wings were rather bright, the golden feathers mixing with a couple of pale brown spots along the wingspan. However, she was able to make it to the entrance in a matter of minutes.
Diving down, she landed and pulled her face mask up before moving towards a small building nearby. It wasn’t as brightly lit as the other buildings and a window was slightly open. Should raid that. And since nobody was nearby, this was the perfect opportunity. Diving into the window after opening it some more, she noticed that the place was empty. Well- The room she was in was empty.
Huh. Looking around and pulling her cloak around herself some more, her first response was to search the building for anything interesting. To her surprise, there wasn’t much inside it. A few trinkets here and there but that was just about it. “So much for stopping here..”
She stopped when something shiny caught her eye and didn’t hesitate to head towards the object. “...What’s this..?” Bending down and picking it up, the object was about the size of an eyeball. Wait. Is this..? This is my old ring- How the hell-
There had to be a reason why her ring was in this empty building. She hadn’t seen it in a few years and she had never been to this city before. Something was off.
With a sigh, she put the ring onto her finger before carefully opening the front door of the building to get out. “....Okay.. He said to find the main building..” But there were a lot of buildings. How was she supposed to find it? I’m so tired of his shit. Manipulative asshole-
Her wings fluffed out a bit, the air a bit too cold now. Since the sun had set, the temperature was starting to drop. Cold weather was not her favorite. At least it meant that people would be heading indoors.
“Main building.. Hm…” One building did catch her eye. She decided to head towards it.
She had to be very quick about it or else she’d be spotted. This wasn’t something to risk. In and out. “Ey- What are you doing out here dressed like that? Going to some party?” She froze, forcing her wings to stay behind her back instead of flaring out like they normally would if she was startled. Shit-
All she could do was turn around and stay silent. A man in a white button-up with suspenders was walking towards her, looking confused as hell. “Who the fuck are you? Zorro?”
She rolled her eyes, crossing her arms and keeping the face mask over her mouth and nose. “Wouldn’t you like to know-” This angered the man a bit. “Trying to be a little shit?”
She growled slightly. “Calling me short?”
“You want to give me ideas now?” He smirked, flashing a toothy grin. This charismatic smile disappeared after a moment. “Seriously. What are you doing here- I’ve never seen you here before.”
She wouldn’t be answering that question.
“I’m giving you the count of five to answer me or else.” Her eyes trailed down to his hand, an axe suddenly appearing. Raising an eyebrow, she smirked and scoffed. “Aw really? What are you gonna do, hm? Slit my throat?” She giggled slightly, putting her hands on her hips.
There was a dark gleam in his eyes. “Told you not to give me ideas.” He had already counted to five and when the time was up, he lunged.
Almost immediately, she ducked and pulled her sword out as her wings spread out to help her launch herself towards the man. “You made the wrong decision, love. Guess I need to kill you.”
He reacted so quickly to her that his axe blade had nearly touched the skin on her neck and could have resulted in some major collateral damage. “You’re in my country-” Her wings pulled her back before anything else could happen. “Don’t care.”
“Damn, I thought we were bonding for a moment-”
She tackled him, pinning him to the ground and grabbing his wrists. “I mean-” She then laughed. “Bonding moment? Keep talking like that and I’ll have to really kill you.”
He smirked. “I hope you realize that you’ve made the worst mistake of your life.” A second later, he had her pinned this time with the axe to her throat and her sword thrown away from her.
“Last chance. Tell me why you’re here.”
She growled, glaring at him. “You think I’m going to tell you? Sorry I don’t speak to shitheads.”
He snorted. “Ouch.” The axe blade pressed against her neck slightly and she hissed, her free hand grabbing the handle to try to push it away from her. “Now c’mon- You’re not supposed to struggle like this.”
Shit- Shit- Shit- I’m dead-
The man’s eyes turned to the axe handle, his expression changing a bit. “Where did you get that ring?” She continued to struggle with pushing the axe handle back. “It’s mine- Why do you wanna fucking know-”
He looked at her, frowning. “I don’t think so. You want to tell me who you are?”
She growled lowly, still struggling and panicking slightly when he pushed the blade towards her neck again. “Not telling you dumbass-”

(part two) He seemed to be getting really angry now. “Start fucking talking. Right now. Do you hear me-”
The blade was dangerously close to breaking the skin, the tip just barely pressing into the skin. This caused her to panic and push against the handle again.
The man shifted and straddled her, grabbing her wrist and proceeding to take the ring away from her. “That doesn’t belong to you-” She hissed and struggled to yank her wrist away.
“Get off of me-” He turned back to her, growling. “I don’t think I will. Now. Who. Are. You?”
She dug her nails into his arm, trying to get him to let go. But this only fueled his anger. He grabbed her jaw, forcing her to look at him and catch her attention to stop or else he’d make things a lot more miserable for her. But in that process, her face mask came down a little.
“How about we start unmasking the problem.” He had noticed it fall down a little and decided to use this to his advantage.
“Don’t you dare-” But he had already pulled it down.
She had a new surge of energy and managed to shove him off of her, using her wings to her advantage. He fell back with a grunt and quickly tried to grab his axe that had fallen to the side. But she had her sword in hand, aimed for his throat this time. “Move away from it. Now.”
He growled and held his hands up. “So much for that.” When he turned to look at her, his eyes widened slightly. “...I don’t fucking believe it.” Confused, she continued to hold the sword to his throat. “Don’t believe what?” He shook his head. “What the hell- Do you not remember me or something?” She huffed. “No? How the fuck do you know me?”
He laughed a tiny bit, out of what sounded like stress and disappointment. “Kat. Seriously- It’s me- It’s Alex-”
“.......” She then recognized the features, dropping her sword. The voice. The hair. The eyes. Everything.
“....Alex…?”

TW (Fighting, gore Only a fool is capable of doing such a stupid act. Fathom already knew most humans were ignorant, but this one human in particular wasn't part of a dictionary. A whole new word, nothing could describe her. The girl had her small, human hand grasped around the latch. Her face reddened and serious, yet her eyes couldn't hide the gaze of clear fear. The captured dragon's grew in a uproar at the sight, the girl was about to release him. Fathom remained calm sitting at the back of the cage, soaking up the shadows. His hawkish eyes reflected the moon. Even for a dragon, he was considered quite passive, but the guards still stood weary. Their long spears pointed at the girl, a swords man spoke with the stereotypical human voice. Loud and squeaky, but this one had a louder tone than usual, perhaps annoying? The archers turned their attention to the fool, all aiming for her throat and patiently waiting for a command from the man. "Hault! Surrender now and the Lord may show mercy for such crimes," the man grunted, tightly gripping a small yet sharp sword and held it under her chin. He ripped a scroll out of the girl's second hand and shoved it in a small holder that hung from his pants. Possibly important, she must've taken it.
An obvious glare came from the girl as the action was done, her hand tightened as the man walked closer to arrest her. For that slight second, he was off guard. Without hesitation the girl's, now, free arm reached for her poorly made sword and quickly dug it into the man's foot. He was pinned. The rest was all a blur really, a yell of anguish and pain while the fool unlatched Fathom's cage. The door swung and the dragon sat free. A moment of silence before he made his move. Slowly Fathom stood and opened his oversized wings, it's been too long since he had been free. Guards stood in shock, they were not ready to fight a dragon. They poked at him but they were inexperienced at dragon hunting, his scales were left unharmed. Fathom stopped and inhaled a great amount of air, the girl looking up as he loomed over her exhaling a whole tornado of wind taking out the guards. Shock was written on her face, she'd probably expected to be eaten by then. Luckily for her, Fathom didn't have an appetite for humans, they were too spiney for his liking. They are incredibly annoying to annoying to eat. Reinforcement was called, soon enough more warriors would flood in like ants when their mound is under attack. Thinking smartly, Fathom opened the cage of his bright, red neighbor's cage. Immediately fire poured out of her snout and smoke poured of of her nostrils like an flowing waterfall. Fathom clutched the girl with his deep blue talons, feeling like her owed her an escape. He was careful not to squish her, but she was making it incredibly difficult. A tiny scream produced from her mouth as soon as he grabbed her, she wouldn't stop wriggling around his claws. Humans make annoying noises when they are scared. His wings extended, one powerful push and they flew. Fathom's wings already ached but the sensation of flight was wonderful. The fear of never flying again was vanquished. He was free. TW: Battle, Blood, Gore . Hondo stared into the hate filled eyes of his brother Kuruk. The male towered ovet him, but Hondo, in the moment, felt fearless. Blood dripped down Kuruk's muzzle. The blood of the Wolf Hondo had truly loved. Keme, the true love of Hondo's life, lay at the paws of this savage wolf. His own brother, had killed his mate. Hondo's pups, now grown, stood at their father's side, Bidziil and Achak. Bidziil's dark pelt but bright gold eyes, seemed to stare right into Kuruk's sole, while Achak's reddish brown coat and dark brown eyes, tried to stare, but they seemed too warm and soft. But still Achak still looked like he would rip Kuruk to shreds. But still Kuruk was not afriad. He towered over all three of them, as he was bigger than the average wolf. He gave a cocky smile and stared at Hondo. "Brother," he said, with a murderous gaze in gis eyes, "You know that I have always wanted to be Alpha, and you take it from me. 'Oh Hondo is the bravest wolf ever, he would make such a good leader.'" He mocked, in their mothers voice. "I was always overlooked, even though I was the strongest warrior, scaring away other packs just by looking at them." He said with a slight chuckle. "Why do you think we are the only pack around here for ages? Because of me!" He bellowed, forcing the rest of their pack members to cower and run to their dens. "Yet they overlooked me again. But now is my time. You all will die at my paw." He yelled and gave a long confident howl. "How will you and your stupid pups beat me?" He got into a hunters crouch, eying each of of them. Hondo glared back at Kuruk. "You will never be Alpha." He said in a snarl, and leaped onto the ober sized wolf's back. He gripped around his neck with his jaws, taste of metallic blood filled his mouth. His claws gripped and scratched at his side. His son, Achak, ran and slid beneath Kuruk, a bold and daring move, to scratch and claw at his underbelly, throwing dust up in the process. Bidziil, who usually wouldnt leap into battle, instantly ran and scratched Kuruk's muzzle and clawed at his eyes. Kuruk didnt even stiffle a whimper, he acted like he buckled, and knew Achak woyldnt be able to get out in time. He landed on his with a sickening crunch. Hondo and Bidziil's eyes squeezed shut, and they each shuttered. Allowing Kuruk escape. He threw Hondo off his back and tackled Bidziil. Bidziil ried to get up, but Kuruk held him down. Kuruk chuckled as the dark pelted wolf stuggled beneath him. But while he laughed, he exposed a weak spot in his neck. With all his strength he pushed up and bit hard on his neck. Locking his jaws, and holding on. Kuruk immediately stopped laughing, as blood poured from his neck. He swatted at Bidziil face with his claw, catching in his eye, making Bidziil release with a yelp. His life blood pouring from his neck, and knowing it was the end, Kuruk threw Bidziil aside with a headbutt, leaving Bidziil unconcious on the other side of camp. Hondo got up, his hind leg twisted at and odd angle, and blood dripping from his muzzle. "Kuruk, your treachery ends now." He said, tackling the bigger wolf, and securing the death bite. Watching the life fade from his eyes, and a rush of pleasure seeping through him. Finally, it was over, and the pack would live on. The loss of Keme and Achak fell hard on Hondo. He felt that everyday he should have been the one to die. Bidziil survived his injuries, and was given the Beta status, Hondo's right hand wolf. Bidziil also sired three litters of pups, which he named two pups after Achak and Keme. Hondo passed on from natural causes only a couple years after the fight. Bidziil retained the Alpha status from his father. But he too died only a year into being Alpha, at the hand of another pack. Which had came back into the area after Kuruk's death. But was the Pack truly safe? Edited at August 4, 2023 08:21 AM by Wolf Pride

Hello! This isn't a full-length story, but rather a snippet from a short story I'm beginning to write. I hope this still counts! ‘’ What do you suppose it's like to be a bird? ‘’ she muttered, lying on her back in an open field of wildflowers. She stared into the clear, blue sky which was covered with the occasional puffy cloud. The scent of flowers engulfed her and brought a sense of peace over her. Her voice sounded mildly melancholic as she asked her question. It was more of a rhetorical question, really, as she didn’t expect an answer. However, she wasn’t merely talking to herself seeing that there was a young man sitting next to her in the beautiful field. ‘’ I don’t know, Jenny, ‘’ he answered, shrugging, in an unamused, careless tone. ‘’ Well, think about it, ‘’ she snapped at him in annoyance, furrowing her eyebrows momentarily. A frown crept over her face while she pursed her lips, and her gray eyes widened slightly. ‘’ Just really think about it, ‘’ she muttered as her voice wavered. After a moment of silence, he answered, ‘’ I don’t think I’d like it much. I’d have to eat worms all day, or I’d have to freeze in the winter, or overheat in the summer, ‘’ he grumbled. Suddenly, he rested his hands on either side of her head as a cheeky grin came over his face. ‘’ I wouldn’t be able to kiss you if I was a bird, ‘’ he added flirtatiously, slowly beginning to lean his face towards her. ‘’ That’s not what I meant, ‘’ she told him angrily, gently pushing him away as she sat up. Again, Jenny gazed up into the sky as a single duck flew across it. A cool breeze blew over her, allowing her hair to gently flow in the wind. ‘’ Imagine what it’s like to fly. What does it look like up there? What’s it like to feel suspended in the air, with only your wings to support you? What does the air smell like? Does it smell the same? Does it smell like the treetops? What does it look like above the clouds? ‘’ ‘’ Most birds don’t fly that high, ‘’ he retorted. ‘’ But, Wyatt, you could fly anywhere you wanted… you could fly far, far away from here, ‘’ she whispered when suddenly a loud BANG was heard. Both of them jolted at the sound and watched as the duck came rapidly crashing to the ground. Jenny felt a pang as she watched it helplessly fall. Gently, Wyatt wrapped his arm against Jenny’s shoulder as he pulled her in close to him, kissing the top of her head. ‘’ You can’t run away from your problems, Jenny- you’ll just find more wherever you go, ‘’ he told her comfortingly. ‘’ Yeah, ‘’ she muttered, ‘’ yeah, I know. ‘’
