Can a pregnant wolf die before it gives birth? Or will the game wait until it gives birth, and then it dies?

Deathscript runs every Monday so wolves over the age of 15 have a chance of dying. Pregnant wolves aren't excluded from this so the short answer is yes, they can die and the litter will disappear with them.
