Just wondering, what does bringing a pup with you on Explore do? Is the pup just there, or does it benefit anyhow?

If you bring a pup with you on explore it gains CP on some traits.

For example, if your wolf successfully steals a bait from a trap, the pup may gain +3 stealth.
