Didnt Eve recommend for artists to do payment AFTER turning in the art. Or at least she said that to the Horse Eden Game. Its a weird suggestion to not pay upfront, but I think she said that to avoid that issue

For years the rumors surrounding La Isla Del Dragón inspired fear and respect, the stories about monstrus beasts that would sweep down from the skies along it's shores enough to keep event he bravest men at bay for decades. These rumors could never truly be confirmed, as no one was really willing to risk their lives, and the lives of their crew, just to find out. The island was uninhabited, so there was no reason to venture close to it. So, for decades, the sands of Dragon Island remained untainted.

That all changed one day when a group of settlers arrived on shore, their smaller, worn ships seemingly gone unnoticed as the waves battered against them. These people were terrified of what they would find on that island, as it hadn't been their original distination. They had been aiming for a different island that had been left uninhabited. They had wanted to get away from famine, drought, and war that had plagued their homeland, unfortunately none of them were experienced voyagers, and they ended up going off their desired course. For days, weeks, they had felt like they were drifting further and further into unknown sea. When La Isla Del Dragón came into view, they were grateful to find land, but they knew immediately what island it was based on the volcano that reached high into the sky on it's Eastern Side. Still, the desire to live overcame their fear and they headed in, pleased to find they weren't attacked the moment they came within range.

It didn't take them long once they were on shore to discover that all the rumors they had heard were true, but not entirely. The Dragons did exist there, but they had not bombarded them from the sky, or lit them all ablaze on sight. Instead these magnificent creatures appeared from the shadows, coming to inspect the intruders who had made it ashore.

Normally the dragons would have chased them off immediately, intent on ensuring their home was not in any threat. However, upon seeing this people, they discovered these were not seamen, or soldiers, or even pirates. These were normal, run-of-the-mill humans who were weak, starving, and tired. They believed them too weak to be of any threat to them, nor did they believe their presence of malicious intent. These humans seemed to be just like them all those years age, running from the violence that had been done to them to find a home away from it all. So, in a controversial decision, the dragons allowed them to stay. They showed them a good place not far from the shore that would make a good place for a village, while also had fresh water running nearby.

For weeks the peace between them existed, a fragile thing as neither was used to the presence of the other. They made it work though. The humans were allowed free roaming over the Western side of the island, whereas the Eastern side was off limits to them, as the dragons lived freely in it. They stayed out of each other's way, and coexisted as peacefully as possible. Not everyone was happy about the arrangement, of course, but the consensus seemed to be tolerance.

Unfortunately, for the occupants of Dragon Island, not everyone was content with the idea of tolerance. Different instances occured, that began to make each population suspicious. A house was set ablaze randomly one night and burnt down too quickly for any human to put it out. A hunter went missing, but later his gear would be found near the border intot he Eastern side, no trace of him to be found. The dragons weren't spared either, though. A clutch of eggs went missing one day while the mother was away. There was no signs of her eggs, they were just gone. Later on a hatchling was found deceased in the forest, though it was hard to determined what killed it based on it's wounds and the predation.

While no one was willing to jump to conclusions when there was no proof, that all changed when a confrontation between the dragons and humans occurred that ended up in a human being killed. No one was there to see the human attack the dragon first, but they did see the dragon kill him. Claiming the giant beasts at turned on them, the villagers began to debate on their course of action. Do they send out a messenger to bring in reinforcements to wipe the dragons from the island? Or do they try to work with the dragons to find peace once again? There is little difference occuring within the dragons, as they decide what to do. They did kill a human, however, they also knew the humans hadn't seen him attack the dragon, nor did they think the humans would believe them if they said anything. Now the question is: do they prepare for war, to wipe these humans out, or do they fight to find peace so both can continue to coexist on their island?

All that is known is that neither wants to give up their home.

The Roleplay Information

The Villagers
These are your average, everyday, run-of-the-mill villagers. They aren't going to expert swordsman, or renowned thieves, or royalty or nobility of any sort. These are just people from a village who got tired of living a very difficult life in their kingdom. So they vowed to change it. Those who could worked together to buy a small ship, big enough to move them safely, but not big enough to draw unwanted attention. They fixed it up, and then, once they had prepared, they set off. They had aimed for a different island, one that likely would have been more hospitable to them, however, none of them were master navigators, so they unfortunately went of course and winded up at La Isla Del Dragón.

These villagers are made up of a variety of different people of a variety of ages. Most of the people who made the journey, though, were 40 and below, just because none of them really knew if they were going to make it. The older people from their village elected to stay back, knowing their chances of survival were less, and that way someone held down the fort if they needed to come back.

Now what you will find in this group of villlagers are different folks with different areas of profession or training. You'll have builders, farmers, hunters, etc. Everyone has a part to play, so some people can become gatherers, fisherman, healers, etc. Everyone now has a role to fill, whether it's providing for the village or helping others so they can, such as caring for their children, etc.

For your villagers, please keep in mind that they all come from the same small town, they all know each other to some degree, so it's unlikely anyone on the ship wouldn't have been known by them. There might be some young men who are soldiersthat deserted the kingdom's army, or older ones who are retired, but majority of them are not combat trained at all. There isn't going to be any mercenaries, or anything like that.

You're welcome to roleplay a villager of any age, however, if they're below like 16-18, they'll need a guardian of some sort. If they're below like 13, they'll need an adult parent, whether they are adopted or biological that's up to you. For the purpose of this Rp, most of the villages arent going to be above 45-50.

The Dragons
About the Dragons
There are a variety of dragons in the world, though everyone single one of them fall into one of the classes listed below. Instead of giving them a Singular, Pre-Decided Ability, I've decided to give you more Creative Liberty with Your Dragons. I will now List all the Classes Available, How Many of them There are Available, and that is it. You'll have to come up with the rest.

For your dragons, though, it will be up to you to come up with their abilities and their individual weaknesses. Of course, I will have a specific set of Weaknesses that apply to ALL dragons, but each dragon will also have their own. You must have 1 Weakness for Every 1 Ability they have. So if you give them 5 Abilities, you must have 5 Weaknesses for them as well. This is to keep balanced, so no one's dragon is OP. If I do not think you have balanced your dragon enough, they will not be accepted.

Dragon Age Ranges & Size

The Size Range
Keep in mind this is the maximum for each age group, you can, and will, find dragons of one age that might still be the size of a younger aged dragon because they're just small.
Hatchling: Up to 3ft
Juvenile: Up to 5 ft
Adolescent: Up to 9 ft
Young Adult: Up to 18 ft
Adult: Up to 36 ft
Elder: Up to 52 ft
Ancient: Up to 64 ft

The Age Range Goes:
For the Purpose of the Rp, all Rpable dragons in it will be Adult & Under, I will lock age ranges that are being overused. I might, though, allow for 2 Elders later on.
Hatchling [< 1 Yr]
Juvenile [2 - 10 Yrs]
Adolescent [10 - 50 Yrs]
Young Adult [50 - 250 Yrs]
Adult [250 - 1500 Yrs]
Elder [1500 Yrs - 5000 Yrs]
Ancient [5000+ Yrs]

Keep in mind, the older and bigger something gets, the slower and more difficult to maintin it is. On the island, the elder dragons are going to be relatively weak, and may even spend most of their time traveling or hibernating, because, while the island is large, supporting a creature that size is difficult on top of everything else.

Dragon Weaknesses & Strengths
These are the Strengths and Weaknesses that all Dragons Share.

For Weaknesses:
⊗ Iron Weakens & Drains Them.
⊗ Soft Belly Scales
⊗ Cannot Fly with Injured Wings

For Strengths
⊕ Longevity & Superb Healing
⊕ Resistant to Specific Types of Human Magics [Curses, Mind Control, etc.]
⊕ Enhanced Abilities Such as Speed, Strength, etc.

The Role Explanations

The Humans
The humans won't really have specific ranks, they decide everything as majority since there aren't a lot of them. However everyone does have their own role, their own job.
These jobs include:

- Hunter/Fisher
- Gatherer
- Builder
- Farmer
- Sherherds [taking care of livestock]
- Scout [Surveying the Island]
- Researcher [helps solves village problems like fencing, tools, etc.]

The Dragons
Unlike the Humans, the Dragons do have more structure to their clan, with a few more ranks involved. However, depsite that, they're also more independent creatures. So not all of them have ranks, and are just referred to as Clan Members or Clan Mates. Keep in mind that despite these roles, dragons still have to fend for themselves. They still have to hunt for themselves, raise and care for their offspring, etc.

The Clan Leader
This is simply the leader of the clan. He makes the decisions for them as a whole, and ensures that his word his being followed. This position is challengeable, but is not inherited.

Second in Commander
They are the right hand claw of the Clan's Leader. They ensure what they say goes, and they're prepared to lead if something were to happen to the Clan Leader until another one is determined.

High Guardians
The High Guards are the first line of defense for the Island Clan. They ensure their safety by doing their best to ensure nothing comes near the island. They venture a lot further out in defense than the regular Guardians do, and they tend to be some of the older, more experienced dragon's in the clan. Minimum Late Young Adult, Often Adult.

Guardians
These are the regular Guards within the Clan. They are like the last line of defense, but protect closer to home. Minimum Young Adult.

Clan Members
These are literally the rest of the Dragons within the clan. They an be of any age.

M A N I A

┗ ━━┅━━━┅━━ ┛

Name:

Mania

Age:

Approximately 956 Years or So;
Mania's Exact Age is Unknown, but It's known she's Around A Millenium

Gender:

Female

Type:

🔥 Fire 🔥

✦•······················•✦•······················•✦

Thoughts on the Humans?:
Mania hates most things. However, she especially hates humans. She would rather burn the entire island down with their entire clan in it than allow those humans to exist on it. She would single handedly wage war on them, and she's prepared to if it's needed.

War or Peace?:
War. Always War.

Reputation:
Mania's reputation speaks volumes to the type of dragon she is. Even dragons older than her hold their breath when she's around, her unparralleled aggression and apathetic nature makes her dangerous. She's killed every male who has tried to court her, and has never spared anyone from the same treatment for even minor things. She's a brutal, bloodthirsty beast, and it's best to just avoid her.

✦•······················•✦•······················•✦

Appearance:

Credit Belongs to TenebrisUmbra for making this masterpiece for me.

Standing already a 35 feet at the shoulder, Mania is a gargantuan creature made of fury and hell. She has the more Wyvern styled build, meaning she has a bare of powerful hind limbs, and then her forelimbs are also attached to her wings. She primarily walks around on all four, however, she can pull herself up to walk on her back legs. This means though rear limbs are extremely muscular, able to support her entire mass on them while simultaneously being able to run, albeit not very quickly though. She's an impressive specimen, with a powerful and frightening build.

There is nothing that seems very lean about Mania, she's just too big to be viewed as such. However, she does have a longer neck that looks almost slender compared to her wide shoulders, though, don't be fooled, it's thickly coated in layers of ropey muscle. Attached to her neck is your standard dragon head that is a bit triangular in shape, being wider at the base, and narrowing a bit at the muzzle. Her muzzle alone is sometimes enough to stop others in their tracks, having a ferocious and monstrous look to her. Wicked jaws part to reveal tooth like protrusions from her upper jaw, and while they look like teeth, they are not, they act more like protective casings for the teeth that are in them. However, they can, and have, been used to puncture even if the tooth itself is not there. These things are also troublesome because they're also very adept at tearing through things.

Aside from the weird muzzle attributes, there is more to Mania's head that promises nothing but endless nightmares. First, the equivalent of cheek tufts for the female are cheek spikes, that begin about halfway down her mandible, growing in length are they reach the curve of her jaw, and shortening again before stopping a few up. Then, as if the rest of her wasn't bad enough, there is a long ridge on the underside of her jaw. Truthfully, it gets her mistaken for a male regularly because it looks like a beard. However, it's completely solid with a curved, sharp tip, that Mania has used to impale the head of those who go for he throat. The, from the back of her head, Mania was blessed with having three sets of horns. The biggest and longest ones sit just above her eyes and form her brow ridge. They're the longer thicker than the rest, and the primary horns she uses for combat, while the others, while protective, as more used for show and intimidation. The next set sits on the outside of these horns, and look like shorter versions of the first. Finally, the third set, and the shortest, sit on the outside of the second set, so that they all sit in a row along the sides of her head. Each horn spirals like a Kudu's horns, and reaches for the sky above.

The horns aren't the only protective attribute the female has to her. Obviously she has her scales, but she has also other things too. For one, she has spines that follow her spine, starting just behind her horns, and reaching well into her tail. They're quite long, with knife like edges and sharp points. They're longest on the curve of her neck and near the cente of her back, doing a wave like motion. These same spine grow down her tail as well, just shorter, however, she also has two rows of shorter spines on the sides of her tail as well. Eventually her tail ends in a fan, which is edged with barb like teeth, and sharp points at the fingers of the fan. Her wings also carry these barb like spikes on the main bones of her wings, a defense to help prevent something from biting them. If they did, they would tear their mouth to shreds, as the barbs hook in and the only way to remove them is to rip them out. She also has the standard claws on the joints of her wings, allowing her to climb and hook onto things, but also use them to cause damage. For her hind legs she has longer toes with curved claws that ar perfectly gripping and tearing.

Mania's coloration could almost be described as metallic fire. She is brightly colored, with yellow-orange as her base color, however, the scales shift in color depending on the light or the angle. They'll go from a orange-yellow to a coppery or bronzey red, making her look like her scales are are fluctuating colors constantly whenever she moves. Her belly scales are a paler yellow color was a hint of tannish green to them, and, unlike her base scales, they do not flucuate when being look upon. Along her body she also has striping which can be seen along her back, across her shoulders, down her tail and legs, up her neck, and on the top of her head. These stripes are a color a few shades darker than her base color, disappearing into the copper red, but visiable on the yellow-orange. They are, instead, a shade of color right inbetween the yellow-orange and coppery red.

Her eyes are typically a yellow-orange color similar to her base color, but the angrier she gets and the more she fights, the redder they become. There's always an illumination to them, so they always seem to be glowing. Mania also has black horns that are so dark they don't seem to catch light in the slightest. This same color of void belongs to the spines down her back and tail, as well as her claws. They beard like ridge on the underside of her mandible is the same color as her belly scales, but it often looks different, more worn, because she uses it as a weapon.

Personality:

Aggression.
Pure, Umbridled and Untameable Aggression.

TBA

✦•······················•✦•······················•✦

Abilities:

Pyromancy
The Generation & Manipulation of Fire
True to the nature of a Fire Dragon, Mania's primary ability is fire, to put it simply. Her limitation of what she can do is her imagination, so the older she gets, the more advanced her techniques become. Of course newer ones are likely to not go well at first attempt, but she has plenty of time to hone her skills. Different applications of this include: Fire Breath, Pyrokinetic Claws, Spines/Spikes, and Horns, Heat Armor, and Firestorm Control. Her fire often has a destructive or explosive affect when first colliding with things, so it isn't just setting things a blaze either, she does physical damage as much as burn damage. With the Forestorm Control, she can create one herself, though it takes more energy, or she can work together with a Storm dragon to use their lightning to get things started and escalate it from there [or simply use it to her advantage is opposing one]. Her Heat Armor is not actual additional armor, she can just increase her internal temperature so much that her scales become extremely hot to the touch, burning things that are attacking her. These are just some examples. This also gives her an immunity to fire, so keep that in mind.

Soul Fire
This Ability is Unique and probably one of her better ones, though she has to be careful when using it. Soul Fire is created by using her life force, or soul, to create fire. This fire is much hotter and much more malleable than earthly fire, able to bend and use it in ways the latter cannot be. Soul Fire is also difficult to exterminate, it's possible, but it takes longer. It also can burn through pretty much any surface with enough concentration, which includes Dragon Scales, even her own if she isn't careful. The Use of Soul Fire is more draining to her, and she often needs rest afterwards when using it. She also has to be careful not to use too much of it, since it could end up using up her entire soul and killing her.

Nova Flame
One of Mania's final abilities, and possibly her strongest, is the ability to basically create a ball of Nova Flame. There are two ways for her to use it, with both having devastating affects. The first, and the more common way for her to use it is to let it explode away from her, leaving havoc and complete destruction in it's wake, able to incinerate weaker lifeforms within seconds. The second way, and the one harder for her to control is to unleash the ball itself and try to aim it in the direction it going. It burns up nearly everything that gets in it's path, and within the few yards around it, as well as destroying things it comes across. Both ways have the ability to scorch the earth of up to about a quarter mile, leaving only ash and smoke behind. However, as strong as this ability is, Mania only really has the ability to use it once and it takes time to charge, not to mention the sheer amount of control it takes to wield it. After use, Mania would be nearly tapped out, and would likely have to hibernate for minimum a week to recover in a decent time. If she doesn't hibernate she wouldn't be able to use her abilities to even close to half their strength.

Heat Vision
A small ability, but a useful one. Mania has the ability to switch from regular sight to heat vision, or infrared, where she can sense and see figures of heat. This helps when creatures are trying to use camoflauge, whether their own or blending into their background or surroundings.

Strengths & Weaknesses:

Strengths

Combat & Experience

Mania is an old bitch. She has seen centuries of battle, and had just as long to train her skills, mind, and body.

Fire Immunity
As mentioned in her first ability, her class of dragon makes her immune to fire. The exception to this is her Soul Fire, as it can burn her, but earthly fire she is immune to. It tickles her is what she says.

Strength
Mania is a physical brute in every sense of the word. She's strong in her abilities, but she's also strong in her physical strength. She can fight just fine without her fire abilities, she just chooses not to, because why would she?

Natural Defenses
Mania was not built to be easy to take down. Along with her abilities and her offensive capabilities, she has a lot of natural defenses too. Her tail is spiked all the way down, able to be used as a club and capable of raking flesh apart. She has long spines all down her back and neck. She has a crown of horns on her head, and a bearded ridge on the underside of her mandible making her nape or throat hard ot reach. She also has the same short spikes on the bones of her wings, so that it's painful to try and wound them with biting or clawing.

Weaknesses
Water
As per usual, water is the natural enemy of fire. A water dragon stands one of the better chances of being able to counter her attacks, or, at the very least, be able to put out some of her fire. Of course, water dragons have to be careful because if they leave even an ember smoldering, that's all it takes for her to regenerate her fire. However, water has a bigger chance at fighting her and holding their own.

The Cold
Like water, it's harder for Mania to generate fire when it's cold. It's not necessarily impossible, since she can draw on Soul Fire if she cannot generate earthy fire, but that comes with it's own weaknesses.

Blood Damage
This is a weird one, because it's a not necessarily a true benefit, but it kind of is for others. See, because most of her attacks involve fire and heat, she has a tendency to cauterize wounds as she is making them. This means she tends not to cause bleed damage to her opponents, so, usually, she won't cause them to bleed out. Of course, this isn't always true. She is perfectly capable of fighting without using fire, it's just not typical for her.

Speed
While not anything to scoff at in terms of Speed, Mania is not the fastest dragon in the world. She relies on her strength and brute to get most of her fighting done. She isn't slow by any means, but that's the edge smaller and faster dragons would have against her.

I have only 3 listed here because I have some listed under the abilities for direct weaknesses for some of them. So there are more than three, I just didn't want to re-list all of them.
