Straight as far as she's explored
Age:
167 years
[Early 20's in people years.]
Species:
Dryad
Appearance:
Ravennae Verna, often likes to be called Raven for short, a name that fits her well since she spends all of her days living in the canopy of the trees. Raven stands about 5 feet and 6 inches, most of her body muscled, but lean. She likes to think she's got some of the best facial features, having beautiful amber green eyes, sparkling an almost gold color in the sunlight. She's got a relatively thin nose, some may slightly pointy-like, and has got beautiful white teeth, sporting decently sized canines on either side, with a very defined jawline.
-
Her skin is quite pail considering she only gets the sunlight that leaks through the thickened branches of the trees. Her ears are pointed, similar to an elf's, about average sized, maybe an inch or two longer than the average person's. Raven's hair is quite long and flowy, she's gotten very few haircuts in her lifetime. It remains a deep brown with mossy-like greenness throughout it. On top of her head sits a crown-like structure, forming a complete C shape, opening up in the front. Her crown is made of small branches, intertwined with small white flowers and some other feathery looking brown plant. Also on her crown, vines are attached in which flow all down the length of her hair. You'll almost never see her without her crown, as it plays a major part in her look.
-
On her left shoulder lies a scar, not incredibly noticable but it's there, that she earned falling from a branch when she had been younger. She's got the hands of any other person, 5 fingers each, quite long actually, with short nails. She likes keeping her upper torso covered, not showing too much of her skin as it makes her feel more vulnerable, same with her bottom half. Raven's legs appear to be longer than her upper half, and look to be quite muscular, used for running throughout the trees. Her feet may not be as big as most think, but are always almost tinted brown from being barefoot.

Personality:
Stubborn || Intelligent || Adaptive || Attentive || Characterful || Confident

Raven appears to be quite the Dryad. Being alive for 167 years out here in the trees, you learn a thing or two. She's come around to be super intelligent, she takes the time to think situations through, evaluating all possible outcomes before coming up with an answer. Through her intelligence, though, comes stubborness, and I warn you now, she can be very stubborn. Raven likes to do things on her own, come up with her own answers and outcomes. She doesn't tend to like other fast-paced beings, she takes things and thinks at her own pace.
-
Being a Dryad means being adaptive, which is something she's learned quite well. Living in the wild, in the trees like this means things are constantly changing, whether this be the weather or the world around her. She grew up in change and has come to learn how to face it head on, rather than cowering to it in the shadows. Raven likes to consider herself a problem solver, attentive in other words. She is able to remember the slightest of details wih ease, which comes in handy when you're faced with a tricky situation.
-
She used to think that all Dryads were alike, so she began altering her attention to herself, she wanted to be her own person and stick out in the bunch, to become for characterful. In this she has succeeded, there aren't any like her out there. Raven does things in her own way, having her own problem solving skills and through all of this she's been able to set herself apart from the bunch. Lastly, she's confident. Confidence wasn't an easy thing for her to accomplish. Being a Dryad is different. Raven's learned to take pride in her personality, she thinks like no other, acts like no other, and lives the life she wants.

Backstory:
Raven was raised by some fifth generation group of Dryads. She never really had anyone that she called Mother or Father. Roles of that such were practically non-existent in the group she grew up in. She didn't have many friends growing up and has no education of any shape or form rather than what she has learned herself. Other young Dryads never really talked with her much since she was kind of the oddball out, at first this bothered her but she later learned to embrace her differences.
-
She hasn't got many skills other than that she loves running through the trees and carving little figurines out of almost anything that holds shape. Raven's curious mind tends to wonder when she sits in silence, often thinking about what creatures slumber in the depths below. She's never been to the ground, no, that was a forbidden rule but she still wondered why. Ravennae now lives in the trees by herself, for the most part anyways, making friends with the birds in a little hutch she managed to make with the resurces from above.
Affiliations:
Luna- Luna is a Dryad, like Ravennae. To people in Raven's siuation you might say Luna is Raven's aunt. Growing up Luna was Raven's primary care-giver. As mentioned above, roles were not very distinct in Raven's group, but Luna was someone who stuck around throughout her life.
Likes:
Whittling: From a young age Raven had been whittling. She liked making little figurines, out of almost anything that would hold it's shape when carved.
Rain: Rain was something Raven often found therapeudic. The sound it made as each drop bounced off a leaf, before hitting the ground was quite calming.
Adventure: Ravennae was always up for an adventure. She wasn't allowed to venture to the ground so she had to come up with other ways to have fun in the trees.
