Plot
For years now packs Eastern Mountain and ___ have been at war, for almost as long as any of the elders can remember. It first started when one of the wolves from the neighboring back decided to kill Eastern Mountains Alpha for almost no reason at all. No wolf knows why they decided to do that deed at night, but many think this was the way ____ thought they could take over Eastern Mountain. With their Alpha dead, his firstborn son Njord took over, and the new Alpha quickly took things into place. He sent many patrols out at all times and even set a guard to protect himself. Ever since there has been skirmish after skirmish, wolves from both sides being killed in the battles. But will an unlikely romance lead to an end to this bloodthirsty, power hungry war?

Hello :D

~

Name: Lidiya

Age: 3

Gender: Female

Appearance:
Lidiya is small for her age, weighing somewhere around 70 pounds. She's small, but small doesn't mean any less deadly. She sports white wings, speckled with grey dots amongst it. Her fur overcoat is much the same - white speckled with dark grey dots. Her underside composes of a gradient from the white and dark grey dots to a smooth, light grey underside.
Lidiya's shoulders also are the same colour of light grey, cutting off the white and speckled grey like a collar, and giving her face more of a 50/50 split between the light grey of her collar, and a splotch of white on the top-right of her head.

Personality:
The first thought you may have of Lidiya is that she's a bit of a bad girl. Fur ruffled like she can't be bothered to tame it (although she does - sometimes), disobeying orders she doesn't think is right, and sometimes just wandering off without any explanation.
Really, she's just a bit rebellious. And she doesn't like taking orders from anyone - no matter how highly ranked they are. Unless they've properly, properly earned the right - in her eyes - that they're to be trusted. So far, absolutely no-one has achieved that, not even the high-and-mighty Merlin.
Alright, she may have a bit of an ego. Going off and "doing her own thing" is what, in her eyes, really benefits the pack. Sometimes it even does benefit them in a good way. It's those other times that we don't talk about.
As long as it doesn't affect her, though, usually she'll stay out of it. "Not my business, with no intention of going into it" is a standard she sometimes goes by. Although this usually works to her benefit... sometimes it doesn't.
When someone agrees with her, though, she's likely to become more understanding and willing to compromise. But that's the thing - usually, most of the othes won't agree with her. It's only when they do that they understand that if their goals are aligned, Lidiya can really make some progress on it. She's used to working by herself, and it's a bit odd for her to be working with others - if they agree with each other... then she'll give it a go. Because even she knows sometimes goals can't be completed alone.
It is with those that agree (or at least, somewhat agree) with her that she'll be a bit more kind to, more empathetic, and hang around. Not those that sit down all day and give orders on behalf of everyone. Those who actually do the work which contributes to a shared goal that she agrees in.
Unfortunately, the Alpha's goals rarely point in the same direction as hers. Else she'd be a lot more co-operative.

Strengths:
- Dedication to tasks. She is usually quite dedicated in her tasks (that usually she chooses herself) and can accomplish them with remarkable efficiency. Too bad the Alpha's ideas of what "tasks" should be done rarely align with hers.
- Learning quickly. She is able to figure out and learn how things are done fairly quickly compared to the others - something that gives her a distinct edge in whatever she wants to do.
- Agility. Lidiya is agile as heck. Her light weight only contributes to that.

Weakness:
- A bit self-centered. Her view of the world seems to dominate her thoughts.
- Short fuse. She can go off extremely quickly if you begin to annoy her, which hopefully is rarely.
- Sharing. Unless she is close to you, or you're collaborating with her, nuh-uh, she doesn't really want to share with you unless she has to.

Other: potato

Name: Kodak

Age: 4

Gender: Male

Appearance: https://i.postimg.cc/DzjzMNx0/Kodak.jpg

Kodak's appearance is almost split fifty fifty between wolf and dog. His pelt colors are more of his mother's side (dog) but his build is more of a wolf. His mother was a Shiba-Inu Basenji mix, which contributes to his brown and white pelt. Kodak had a semi brown face with only a small bit of white around the edges. His body is white with a brown back, sides, and shoulders. He also inherited the Basenji tail curl, and most of their colors, and the Shiba-Inu in him contributes to his size. And this is where his father comes in at. His father was a dark red and white timber wolf, with a stocky build and gold eyes. Kodak inherited almost every attribute from his dad. He has a stickier build with a broad chest, and muscles that ripple beneath his pelt. He has sharp gold eyes like his father, and tends to have larger paws than what would be normal for a wolf his size. Kodak stands at about 29 inches tall, which is on the taller side than most wolfdogs, he weighs 110 pounds, and comes in at about 6 feet long when his tail is bent.

Personality: Kodak is a very kind wolf despite his bigger size. He does take keenly to disrespect though, and it doesn't take much to earn his respect. He respects his elders and superiors and is an overall likeable wolf. He is very helpful around the camp, and is determined to do all of what he thinks is possible to do. Kodak usually doesn't interfere with other wolves business, as he doesn't like to be nosy, and doesn't want people to by nosy around him, as that really bugs him. He is more like the 'don't always be looking over my shoulder' kind of wolf. Trust is a huge aspect of his character, as it does take a lot to earn his full trust, unlike respect. At the moment, not even the almighty Merlin has earned his trust. Not one member of the pack has, but Kodak does hope that that will change soon.

Other words to describe Kodak: Brave, Outgoing, Protective (can be over protective at times, gets it from his wolf side), Curious, Intelligent, Cunning, Clever

Strengths: Determination. Once Kodak gets his mind to something, it is very hard to change. He sees his whole life purpose as to help others, and once he is on the scent, it's hard for him to lose it.

Intelligence: Kodak is very intelligent, and that's how he can get through tasks as easy as he can, he can find intricate ways of doing things, and wolves may seem is stupid at first, but gradually makes sense.

Build: His build gives him a intimidating pose, even though he is a true easy going and laid back wolf, barely getting angry. Despite his size, he has learned that he has great stamina and Agility, although speed is an issue.

Weakness: Humans, he wants absolutely nothing to do with them. He has 0 trust in them as an element of his past (the killing of his father) has led to that.

Overprotective- Many wolves don't like this aspect of him, at times he doesn't know when to let go, or to back off. It's just to hard for him.

How to love- Kodak is still on the winding path to find love, he has been in some relationships (may expand) but none have ended the way he wanted them too. He has a hard time with trusting, and that is probably the key aspect to it. It also doesn't help that he can sometimes be a tad bit insecure

Size- His big size is good in all but he lacks in speed, he is the first wolf the young lines want to race, as he barely ends up winning. Speed has never been his Strength. Along with his size, he tends to be clumsy because of his oversized paws

Kin: Open!

Crush: Open!

Mate: None

Affiliations: TBD

Other: Dutch Shepards will always be my favorite

Lidiya slid through the undergrowth almost silently, heading in no specific direction whatsoever. Supposedly, if anyone ever went to ask her what she was doing, she might have said something along the lines of "patrolling". But really, was she patrolling?

Hmm. She was just off doing something by herself. It was what she was comfortable with, anyway.

She hadn't even picked a proper direction to go in. She just went one way - and while she did know she was getting closer to the border with the other pack, they never said what she could do - such as, toe the line between them as she osteniably "patrolled the border".

What could they do, anyway?

She was just trotting along on her four paws happily. Not really caring about too much. However, she did have the good sense to not stray past the scent line that the other pack had made. An almost invisible border, something that only her nose could pick out, and something that she carefully toed the line of as she altered course to go south down the border.

She knew they were dangerous. But then, really, would they just... jump out of the bushes at her? She could evade most wolves in terms of speed. What she was looking for, though...

... ah there. A rabbit burrow. Unfortunately without a rabbit inside it, but the rabbit would come back soon enough. Since this was the warzone between them, that meant that they hadn't hunted in this area nearly as much. Which also meant burrows like this would be untouched.

Gingerly, she lowered herself down, far enough from the burrow that the rabbit wouldn't see her but close enough that he could still smell that the rabbit's scent was fresh, and it'd be back soon.

So there, toeing the border between them and the other pack, she laid down, and began the wait for the rabbit.

Kodak trotted with ease along the border between the packs, his hackles and senses raised slightly, but still in a playful mood. Hymir and Commodus were following behind him, the two brothers huddled close together as the always seemed to be. He threw his head over his shoulder to look back at them, and they just cast goofy glances at him. They caught up and split to either of the sides around him. "So Hymir." Kodak mused, "How's it going with Violet?" He asked, a smirk on his face. Hymir rolled his crystal blue eyes and said, "You know her. Always in a mood, she'll come around though." Commodus let out a chuckle. "She forgave you for the incident last time. A dead mouse in her bedding is the last straw. " He said, eying the border. Hymir growled, "It was just a prank. The pups thought it was funny." Kodak laughed, "They think anything funny. But you should make up with her. You don't want to have to take care of then for the next week like Commodus had too." Kodak was of course mentioning Commodus's mate Stormfast, whom he prabked a moon ago, and had to take of his five rowdy pups for the week. He hadn't been able to sleep for along time. Hymir gave a sarcastic smile. "Well at least we have pups unlike you." He said. Hymir and Commodus had been making him try to get a move on for the last couple weeks. Kodak had told them the same thing every time. "I'll find her. Eventually" He added in a whisper, than began to trot a little ahead of his best friends. He turned at the large oak tree that served as a border and then he caught a whiff of it. Not a big one, but a small trace of something. Someone he should say. He picked up his tail to slow Hymir and Commodus down, and as soon as they did so, all three lowered into a crouch at once. Kodak moved a little closer before he pressed his belly to the ground. He was still on his side of the border, but by the whiff he caught, someone might be on his too. "Hello?" He called out, before rising to his paws. Hymir and Commodus stayed crouched, to give the appearance that Kodak was alone. "Who's there?"

In that instant, Lidiya, lying down on the grass, eyes absolutely focussed forward, completely froze. Had she been paying attention to her surroundings? She thought she had.

But had she noticed the others from the enemy pack come around on border patrol? Absolutely not, if she was being honest with herself.

Crap.

So here she was, alone, on the front line - to be fair, this was the first time she had actually gotten stuck in this situation - and there was at least one wolf out there for blood on border patrol.

Would it be worth it to run? She could probably outrace most wolves. It probably would, and if the pursued, at least she would be able to see who they were, how many of them were there - because if it was more than one, she was absolutely screwed, unless only one of them pursued.

The only problem was that they were approaching from the south. She didn't have a choice but to go north else she'd get caught up to in no time. Which meant, further along the border they went.

As she was internally debating, she realized - yet again - her attention was lacking slightly. The other wolf or wolves - whoever they were - had gone. She couldn't even see them from where she was crouching down.

Three. Two. One. She couldn't hide here much longer.

Go. She burst up, angling north, uphill, and could briefly see one male - something like her age, perhaps? - before she zoomed away.

Kodak turned his head to the right as he heard a large figure take of. A smaller wolf, probably a female zoomed towards her part of the border, and Kodak instinctively pursued. His tail flew into the air, alerting Hymir and Commodus that he was giving chase. Hymir and Commodus immediately took off after Kodak and the female, but the larger wolves weren't as fast as the smaller Kodak. As he dodged trees and slid under the undergrowth, his friends couldn't keep up. He threw his head over his shoulder and saw that they eased into a trot, and gave a slight howl. He knew they would continue their patrol while he chased the intruder. He turned his head and his golden eyes locked on the female in front of him
She was white, with what looked like pieces and spots of gray in random places, he body was like a blur so he couldn't really make her out, but he realized that he was closing in on her. His legs reaching a rhythm he began to slowly but surely close the gap. He could see her whole body now, and her tail was only a few feet from his nose. He picked up the pace as he reached the hill, his legs churning and gaining more speed, soon he was almost next to the female. As they neared the top he was able to get on her left side, and with that, he threw his whole weight into her left side, slamming himself Into her, causing not only her to lose his balance, but him too. His forelegs curled beneath him as he landed hard on his right shoulder, flipping over before crawling back to his paws. There he rested his golden eyes on the female, as he curled his face into a growl. The hair on his back rising on end.

Lidiya definitely did not expect the other wolf to be able to catch up to her. No, she most definitely didn't. Which was why when he managed to knock her over, sending her off balance and her scrambling to regain her balance, she was most definitely suprized. Aware that running was now pointless, she turned around and looked at her opponent.

A brownish-white wolf was the only one that she could see - clearly the one who had knocked her over, given their build. She scrambled to her feet, breifly checking out where they were - either this brownish-white he-wolf really was the only one who had been pursuing them, or she had outrun the rest of them.

She didn't want to think about the alternative - there was more than one wolf out there - as she growled at this strange wolf slightly, backing backwards and to the left by an inch or so.

She could do this. Maybe. it was close, but against only one wolf? She could probably do this. Either she was significantly underestimating her opponent - which she didn't want to think about - or it'd be fine.

No more running away. Eyes fixed on her opponent, she waited to see what he'd do next.

He growled at the female. But as she rose to her feet he began to see her fully. She was a slight bit smaller, only be a few inches, and he probably weighed about 50 more pounds. She was almost fully white, with some grey splotches and spots throughout her lean body. If she did choose to fight, he was confident in his abilites. He was fully aware that he was in enemy territory now. She had the advantage. But he didn't let that get to him. They killed his father, and all of them were alike, murderous traitors. He growled and took a step forward. He was pretty sure she didn't know who he was, cause if she did she would know how he felt on the matter. For a brief time after his father's murder, which has started the whole war between the packs. He still didn't know what had happened that night. His father was the pack's Alpha. He was barely a pup at the time when one of the other wolves from the neighboring pack snuck into his territory and killed him, giving him no time to fight back. Kodak's Pack, the Eastern Mountain Pack, was left in almost ruins. But they had rallied around the current Alpha. Bloodthirsty Njord, his father's firstborn son, and Kodak's older brother. Sure the resented him at times, and Njord and Kodak never seemed to get a long, but Kodak's mother was the only thing keeping them together. He was her last born before his father died. And since then he has the closest relationship with her. She mourned after his death, and stopped hunting and doing anything besides raising pups. Kodak has had to take care of her in the last two years while Njord just laid back and ruled the pack. And as he stared at the female he remembered everything her pack had taken away from him, and in that moment and anger formed up inside of him that made his muscles tense, and then his back legs contracted and he leaped for the females throat, claws extended, mouth open In a snarl.

Fighting smart, instead of fighting angry, was something that Lidiya had learnt quite a long time ago. She couldn't just rely on size and strength - she was definitely lighter than most wolves. So instead of that, she had to fight smart.

That might also have meant fighting quite dirty at times, but if it worked, it worked, and zero questions asked. So when someone else fought angry? She'd take advantage of it, no less. And this male was most definitely angry. Why, she had absolutely no clue - maybe he was some relation to one of theirs that they had killed? - but anger made attacks sloppy. That was what she had learnt, and with that, she foguth smart - just like her father had always taught her - giving some ground and evading, but not enough to back her into a corner as she gave herself some time to think. She'd attack in a moment. But letting her opponent think that she was losing was always a good start - it made them overextend themselves, and Lidiya knew how she could take advantage of that.

So she calmly - smartly - evaded for a bit. No point getting bitten for the sake of it.

Although, her life was on the line. Hm. She should have thought of that first - nonetheless, she fought smart, and let him think he was winning.
