(A) is part of a pack of wolves they call a tribe the to be works a lot like a regular pack. They live in the mountains in a large cavern behind a water fall. When the pups are old enough about one year they turn to apprentices then finally to their trained rank of hunters or cave guards hunters the the thick fured and agile of the group have guards are the bigger ones. Every so often at the full moon the wolves gather by the frozen lake with a few loners they call runners that are interested in joining (enter b). (B) is one of those runners. The runners live two days with the tribe to see if they fit. One day of cave guard training one day of hunger training. (B) gets accepted into the tribe. Their permanent mentor becomes (A). (A) doesn't approve of (B) very much and trains them harder then they should. (B) after failing many times finally made progress. Hondo sat on his hunches as he looked into the deep wilderness, watching for enemies or prey. It was the time of the Runner's season. He knew his new Runner would be here in a couple hours. In the meantime he sat there watching his beautiful pack lay in the sunlit clearing. Sunlight dancing off the trees surounding them. He knew his pack was strong, but he wanted special company. Although he hated the Runner season, he kinda enjoyed having someone knew around. Hondo doesn't have a mate yet and he wants one. He remembers that only 2 weeks ago that he had taken control of this wild pack.

As he saw the new Runner approach from far in the distance. He thumped his tale alittle. But quickly stopped as he wanted to look intimidating and feirce, not some type of father-wolf.

Amber walked threw the forest. Flicking her ears at every sudden noise, she hasn't been In this part ever. She scented other canines, a pack mebey? She went on to check

Hondo watched the wolf approach. She looked very nervous but he didn't really care. He could tell by seeing how she acted that he really wasnt going to like her. "Runner!" Hondo barked really loudly, "Approach the Alpha of the The Eastern Mountain Pack!". The young wolf approached and bowed submissively, and she gazed straight into his eyes. "Enough" Hondo said, "As a Runner you know you are here to see if you would like to join my pack. But to do that you must pass my tests. Are you up for the challenge? Or do you leave now?" He asked the Runner.

Amber lowered her gaze "i-i am" she said.

"What is your name" he replied in a dominant tone. Hondo shook himself and said in a calmer tone "What is your name?"

Amber raised her head ever so slightly "my name is Amber..." She said hesitantl

"Well... Amber," he said her name in an obvious disgusted tone. "Welcome to my pack, as a Runner you will be here for two days. In those two days you will be a guard, on the next day you will go through hunting training. If I accept you have a choice to accept or decline my offer."
