I'm gonna share my method, it involves multiple wolves training (Three wolves can be trained to DG in 9~10 hours, and four wolves in 12~13 hours):
Wolves:
-All need to have maxed Batte and should have maxed Resolve (agility can be filled later), weight is not a big deal.
-3 wolves at the time is the ideal number for me. (Could bring 4 but it will be explained later)
Why 3 wolves?
-Because it's more predictable to know how much BE they all will get when finishing a level (For three wolves this value is 50BE) and they gain BE at the same speed (it doesn't happen when you bring 5~6 wolves, some might get way more BE than other wolves in a training sesion).
-Bringing 1~2 wolves might look faster but it doesn't work most of the times due to the flee ration of the NPC, and that's the main reason I don't usually train little groups (example, there are 6 rabbits and you can only hit a max of 1~2 each turn and the rest could flee, and I'm still not talking about event NPC who usually have more than 80HP and it would be impossible to take them down in a single turn), only if you're lucky enough they won't flee much and you'll get the same ratio of training 3 wolves.
Terrain:
-Forest 2 is the best for fast BE, more chance of getting big groups of squirrels/rabbits because pheasants doesn't appear yet and that last encounter just gives you 1 NPC (I train here most of the times)
-Forest 3 and 4 is great to get more mush than forest 2 (boars won't be any problem for a 3 wolves team and drop 6 mush), CP train your pups in sealth (trainees should have maxed sealth CP), kill some event NPC that are programmed to appear less in forest 2, and it has a similar amount of NPC after getting all the tracks.
"After getting filled sealth CP of the pups, go back to forest 2"
-If I train in Forest 5, is only when I bring six wolves there and they are in Pin (Off +33) move, so the won't get defensive moves anymore. Forest 5 has a higher profit than Forest 2 to 4 (deer and wolverines won't be a problem for your wolf team) it seems to have a higher chance than any higher level on getting mythical creatures (60%~80% chance of getting at least one), so good luck on killing them. DH are recommendable (but not strictly needed) when finding Eves.
-All Forest 2 to 5 level are good even in winter.
-Enemy count should be higher than 35.
-Each terrain should be completed in 30 minutes or less, but don't panic if you take a bit longer :)
Resources:
-10, 20 or 40 chinese potteries. (depending on how much you want to train in a sesion), don't worry for the mush expense, you'll get it back after the training
-Some health potions at the starting, let's say 5 (then your wolves will find some in explore) and only use them when necessary (you don't want to ruin a good training sesion with high enemy count because one of your wolves fled right?)
Extra tips:
-Dominance is helpful not only for training (please only if these wolves are meant to be kept for you, if you're training for someone else it will be a waste) to scare other wolves found in explore and gain extra moves , and chase off the birdwatcher to get robin feathers (which can be used as health potions too).
-Too many wolves in defensive hell (Def+26 to Def +28) and the constant clicking to change them to offensive moves gets annoying? Sometimes a lucky sesion with one wolf at the time could help (this is the only exception I could use the 1 wolf exploring method).
- NEVER complete all the 400 tiles of a level, or your highest level will mess up with the no button appearing bug (100% guarantee of this).
-Are there event NPCs in explore with high health?
Your wolf team number should increase ot get these monsters killed easily.
Werewolves (August) ~ 4 to 6 wolves.
Dreki (November)~ 5 to 6 wolves
October and December NPC ~ 3 to 4 wolves.
If the large team gets into defensive moves you could use the 1 wolf exploring method
Hopefully it helps you :)
