Heyo! As stated by the title, I'm trying to figure out where to price my art. My price bounces around quite a bit, and I have been told various things in regards to the price of my art. Needless to say, I'm a bit lost when it comes to selecting a general payment range. So, help would be much appreciated! Friendly critiques are also welcome. . Examples: (all credits to me, not all characters are mine) . . Character belongs to Schatten Waechter . Character belongs to Skyetic (the grass in the above image is awful, I know lmao) . ilannaq's character . Character belongs to Syncopated clock ^^

Honestly, for the quality level, I would venture upwards of eight-hundred is good (even low-balling) for this kind of artwork. But that's IMO.

Being around the art community for a hecca long time, lol, I think it depends on a few things: 1) Do you want more commissions? Then price toward the lower end of your range. 2) If you feel like you want the most money for your art quality, price higher. Overall, I'd recommend no lower than maybe 2 apples, at the least. Maybe less if you're offering just headshots. But if you want more money, raise it by two apples.

I would say 700 - 1100 mush, or 1 - 2 apples.

I'd honestly recommend picking an hourly rate and then charging for different types of commissions based on the average amount of time it takes. Because something that you spend 5 hours on and get paid an apple or two? Personally not worth it because, thinking about it, that's like a fifth of a dollar an hour. Try to think in terms of what you would like to get paid for in apples per hour and charge that.
You have quality art and people will pay for it!

Thank you all again for your help! . ila That's certainly a fair point ^^ I've thought about charging hourly rates before, so I think I might follow through with it :) Thank you!
