Fae Realm-

Aimilios drew the reins up on his stallion as it snorted smoke into the air. The black hell horse pawed the ground impatiently and the demon stroked his well muscled neck trying to calm the beast. They were gathered at the entrance to Castle Redford. Being the reason for the meeting of all the realms Aimilios wanted to be the first there. He was on a mission and since he was not allowed to do it himself, the king decided he would send the best to complete the task, which was to find Adonis Driscoll, his son.
His gazed shifted to look at his group that accompanied him. The investigators he would send were the best in the kingdom.

"Alright everyone, listen up!" He said before continuing, "We're not here to butt-heads with the other kingdoms. But nevertheless keep your eyes peeled." He directed the last part to the investigators. "If you wish to remain unseen I understand due to the circumstances that you wish to keep your identity hidden." The king said quietly to the detectives.

He stretched his wings after he dismounted from his horse. Sure, he could've just flown. But he likes to ride his horse. The tall winged demon adjusted his tie and dusted his suit with his hands. This better work. If it doesn't I don't know what we're going to do. Aimilios hoped that he had just ran off and that he wasn't kidnapped. Maybe just teenage stuff... A rage burned deep inside of him though. If someone did take him away then they were going to suffer unimaginable consequences. He continued on his way into the castle.

Zeus had woken up early , his room was a small cupboard like room by the demon king's chambers, it was practical , he didn't feel alone as he had the mice to keep him company in the dark. He could hear anyone who dared entered the chamber late at night. He always kept a guard there just in case he did not wake although he was a light sleeper , he woke at anything. He got dressed with difficulty. He was wearing a white shirt, camo jacket and black jeans and black boots . Zeus draped his mother's old scarf around him and breathed deeply in, he felt tears come to his eyes and he had brushed them away. He had stood ready for the king for hours but he knew the king would not wake at 4 am. As soon as he heard the king awaken , Zeus checked the servants for anything they could harm the king and let them in once the king had agreed to let them in to help him get ready for the day. He then checked them again after they went out.

He now hovered , his black wings flapping slowly as he followed Aimilios Driscoll, the person he mainly served. They were looking for Adonis Driscoll, the heir to the demon realm. He looked around searching for the investigators , he knew from whispers at the market that the demons chosen were Eitaro and Regan. Many demons varied , they could look quite human and then demons could look like red skin and red horns and all that jazz. Zeus did not really have an opinion

With cracked stone streets with looming houses that stood like giants over the cramped town, fresh flowers, vibrant vines, and fruit and vegetable plants poured from the windows and tiny balconies while other windows had electric wires and clotheslines connecting the homes as they dangle loosely above the ground, and laughing children— one with puffy black hair that covered their eyes and horns almost entirely, another with bright red hair that burned like fire as ash and embers flowed off them, and the last that looked like an infant’s face with sharp talons, spiky tails, and feathery wings attached as they flew after their friends— chasing after a poorly patched leather ball with large black stitches that were visible from a mile away, Eitaro was feeling more at home than ever as they were welcomed back to their home with the chaotic calmness their to greet him like a long lost friend. Even though it had only been a couple of months since Eitaro had last visited, Eitaro couldn’t help himself from gleefully looking around the town.

The King can wait a little longer for me.

Yes, the King needed Eitaro, detective supreme, mochi enjoyer, and most fabulous oni of the demons. Now, you may be wondering why this disaster of a man was about to be brought before the King himself and the answer was simple: the heir to the demonic throne was missing and no one knows why or how.

Even despite the endless whispers on the street about a missing person Eitaro did not care for, it seemed like nothing had changed yet it was as if everything had changed all at the same time. He remembered a few weak vines climbing up the cracked and decaying walls of Harbinger’s Butcher, but now the whole left size was full of vines that blossomed into pale white flowers; in addition to that, the small deli that sat on the corner across from the best weaponsmith and gunsmith in the world closed down and had been replaced by a bar with strippers walking in and drunkards stumbling out despite it being broad daylight. Despite that, the most shocking change was neither the increase in vegetation nor the closing of a small shop, but the popularity of a puny candy stall where kids lined up in droves and packs, counting coins and crumbled currencies before glancing worriedly at the sign. The man wearing a red and white striped vest over a button up shirt with a straw hat behind the stall seemed to be hunched down just to fit in the compact box lined with all sorts of succulent sweets. The four boney, veiny hands of the man grabbed candy off the walls of his box and stretched his arms out to the children with the candy in hand. Something about his demeanor and smile— that toothy, unmoving smile— grew Eitaro’s attention.

I’ll have to come back later. I should probably leave before I’m late though….

Taking slow strides, Eitaro “hurried” to hear what the King had to say to him about his mission to find his runaway son. Or perhaps the heir to the demon throne was actually kidnapped. Either way, whether out of curiosity or boredom, Eitaro made his way to Redford Castle.

Waiting at the entrance of the castle, Eitaro paid no mind to the other investigator or the armed guards joining him nor even the King himself even when Eitaro heard the loud ka-clunk ka-clunk of his horse’s hooves on the stone. Eitaro simply stood silently as he stared at the castle, studying every detail of the building before him while he placed his hand on the hilt of his jutte. As soon as the King’s words came to a halt, Eitaro huffed, tapping his bamboo sandals impatiently.

“Thank you— your highness—for the great speech and all,” Eitaro stated, following immediately at the King’s heels as soon as he opened the doors to the castle, “but I would like to investigate now. I don’t wish to skip through the pleasantries—” Eitaro had to force himself not to gag at the word before smiling to the King again with his charming smile— “or anything like that, but most missing person’s cases tend go cold after 48 hours so I would like to inspect your child’s room as soon as possible.” Eitaro glanced at the other detectives with amusement in his eyes. “Especially since the other investigator will likely tamper with any evidence….”

Zeus fluttered in between the King and the investigator , he whispered to Eitaro , " The servant should be her any moment" he said in a hurry, he gave a stern look at the servant who was carrying the sketches of the rooms without gloves, another servant stepped with gloves, as they had wings they flew towards Zeus slowly and gently and finally landed at his feet, he put on white gloves and was handed them . " Sketches and drawings of the rooom at different angles ". He explained. He nervously looked up at the king on his horses as he handed the gloves and the sketches to him.

Zeus fluttered away but just enough so he could interfere if anything did go wrong or hear the two talk faintly. He had those sketches , done by a friend he knew. Not an investigator but an artist and he had drawn the Heir, Andonis 's room with accuracy and detail. Zeus fluttered nervously in the air, he had gone and done something without the king's permission or order . Something he has never done before , he felt guilty when the fruend had handed the precious sketches. Zeus hoped that King Aimilios wouldn't mind and be grateful or at least be slightly annoyed.
