Idk if it's the colors or the lines or whatever but some thing is wrong here. Can y'all help me out? She's based on a lionfish

maybe it's how her tail isn't lined but her body is? though I'm not sure if that's because of your artstyle since I've never seen your art before ^^; though you can check if it's an anatomy issue by flipping the canvas :D looking good btw! i like the concept :>

Maybe it's that dip in the tail? Looks a bit too sharp. Could also be the facial features? Seems a bit off, compared ta the rest of the art. Edited at June 7, 2022 03:55 PM by Cinnabar Banks Pack

I find her eyes unsettling, haha they're just so different than the art style. The only way I could explain it is if you put googly eyes over a face.

I think the proportion of the head is slightly off? Especially in comparison to the size of their arms... Also it might be that there isn't much of a chin, which sort of breaks up a lot of the sharper lines that you have! I really like the premise / concept, and it looks good, just not exactly proportional to the way a body looks! <3

I like this a lot more! Her arms don't look nearly as stretched out, which (in my opinion) makes the rest of her body look a lot more proportional and less wonky! Plus the lineart and fin detailing helped a lot.
