Lamb also takes a long time. Rice and potatoes need around 40 minutes max and it's quite high temperature in the oven. We onky ever do it with chicken. But then again lamb has a strong taste so if you cook it half way and then just finish it with rice and potatoes it might work?

Maybee i am no cooking expert

@Amy
Hmm.. what about lamb? Would that be easier to replace the chicken than beef would?

I personally just don't eat chicken or poultry in general at all

Hmmm...they you would have to interfear with timing...beef usually takes longer than chicked to be tender. But if you bake rice and potatoes first it won't have beefy taste e.e

Maybee with smaller pieces of beef or veal since it has softer meat

Huh. Sounds really interesting. If there's a version with beef I would honestly love to try it someday :o

It's a less known dish called pirjan. Basicli rice at the bottom, top it up with potatoes (cutted like chips but thicker) and on top chicked. Drown everything in water and throw in the oven. It's delicious

@cat that's odd, a UA toggle shouldn't do that... I'm curious if it adheres to the 59

Lately I have been on a quest to create some new OC's.

But in doing this I've ran across a big problem.

Descriptions.

Its incredibly hard to find a picture on the internet that goes along well with your character and it can also be difficult to get your words how you want them.

So what to do?

I'm looking for suggestions! Remember though not to mention any games or anything as thats against the rules although I think websites are okay (?)

PM me if needed!

Just write out your character's appearance. Try not to rely on a photograph, except for maybe body structure. Start simple. Write maybe a few sentences or a paragraph. Then use that to expand on your char's appearance.

It takes some time to come up with ideas. Try not to rush it.

---------

For example, I started with this:
"A massive wolf of 50 inches (130 cm) in height. He has a very thick coat, colored a dark grey. A bright red "hood" masks his forehead, in stark contrast to his greyness. The red runs all the way down his back, and goes on to tip the ends of his three tails. Underneath his eyes is are black checkmarks, alongside a black nose and ears. The red on right paw is a permanent blood stain from a family feud."

Then took that to expand into this description under his "Appearance" tab:

That's good too. I've found going on Pinterest and finding a picture first and building a character around it is fun.

I try not to do that. I don't like using other people's pics for anything unless I have their express permission to write on or about it it. Copyright issues are not fun.
