there is a sea monster attacking a viking ship, i think it uses the howling rating of your wolf but i'm not 100% sure - if they howl successfully you get a silver coin

what is the ship sea monster event just wonder and thanks for help so far

i personally use tundra since it's the only place i've gotten the ship/sea monster event but you can use the other terrains! there's 2 dwarf tiles i've seen - the one with two dwarves that say they're looking to chain fenrir(? or something similar to that) isn't the one that actually uses gold links

I know I’ve asked this prior but I forgot to check the chat and lost the message ;; are coat genetics a 50/50 chance? Or is there possibly a genetic guide for coat color outcomes? I want to get more into breeding my wolves but my first litter was sort of a flop DX

I gotta figure out how to fix my dom, I had to up it to stay in my alliance but now my wolves won't heal since back then I'd only had a small pack so had to max dom on most of 'em

star,
it just gives all of your wolves (below 200 dominance i believe) varied dominance so that your pack happiness is improved.

i'd only recommend using it if you don't already have a lot of dominance CP on your wolves

I am a biology major :3

Ha big shock I know, should've been expected since I love this game and animals so much.

Anyway I love biology so so so much. I love the labs, I'm specifically fascinated by genetics and heredity (a special interest developed at the ripe old age of 8 after watching Bill Nye the Science Guy for the first time ever)

I recently found a family tree/pedigree chart I made in 8th grade based off a game I made up myself. Basically you had the parental plants/organisms, the alleles, and a punnet square. Set up the punnet square to have the parental info, spun a pencil, and wrote out the next generation based off what squares the pencil landed on. Not sure if I'm explaining it well, so I'll probably get some pictures later tonight to explain better.

I also love Malacology, though honestly I've only ever focused on gastropods :'D

Snails and slugs!! And gastropod asymmetry is so so cool!!

For example, snail shells always swirl on the right, and if it faces the other direction they actually need to find another left sided snail to reproduce. It's extremely rare, AND all of the offspring will be right sided! That's so wild!!

I love ecology and really want to either working in environmental sciences, or genetics, or biological illustration...

Just too many things interest me AGH

So

Feel free to ramble away your favourite science facts, subjects, specialisations, or special interests!

I'll definitely come here to ramble about my classes and science labs by the way, and may even share my bio notes from last year. Also for anyone who needs fundamental bio help hit me up in pms, I'd love to help!

This year I'm in Anatomy and Physiology and Organic Chemistry!

Chem isn't really my subject

At all >> but I'm excited nonetheless.

Hello Wilverbeast,
When I began college. I was also aiming for a biology major. College was a whole lot easier for me but unfortunately math was not my thing and hurt my career path. The direction I was heading for was the zoology department. I almost went to Michigan State for zoology. Yet I had a lot of fun meeting requirement despite things not working out. I interned at a vet office, went to a sleep over at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach California, did a zoo intern, volunteered at a shelter, volunteered with a trap and release group in our area through a friend. Which I learned a lot from doing all those internships and volunteer opportunities. A lot of fun too. :) Years, laters I am a paraprofessional and work with students. ^^

Ah I completely forgot about how cool zoology is!! Thank you for sharing your experiences, those are so neat *^*
Also props to you for working in education :3 🩷
I have all the respect for educators of any sort and that's incredible.

Science has always been my favorite! This year, I'm in accelerated science and I hope to start A career in science as A Clinical Research Manager. Biology seems really cool and genealogy seems like A fun thing to explore and learn about! But then again, psychology is just so fascinating and we've barely scratched the surface of it. I don't know what field of clinical research to do but I still have A couple years left to decide. Maybe over the summer, I can play around with punnett squares and figure out the chances of me getting the traits I have. I hope to be an active commenter on this forum and am delighted to see A fellow science nerd!

I *love* binging strange zoology videos, especially ones about evolution and extinct creatures. *^*
I used to watch a ton of dinosaur and prehistoric documentaries as a kid, and it's so crazy seeing how much has been discovered just since then!!
