It's the first wolf in its bloodline, it will have two "Lone Wolves" as parents.

It refers to a wolf that is First Generation. It's parents - the "sire" and "dam" - will show up as Lone Wolf.

yes technically. this happens when you get wolves from the wolfplay party for exmaple, the parents are then called 'unknown wolves'. this also happens when you customize and create a new wolf
