But honestly he was kind of a mommy's boy even though she was horrible, just because his dad was worse and Dally went to great lengths to protect her despite the things she did to him

(Not the conversation casually turning into an argument about who has more trauma 😃)

I feel so bad for both of them, but I mostly feel bad for Mylo because uh it isn't my fault and I can't fix it - Dally? Dally is completely my fault, and he has no shame

Cause it could be such a thing that maybe Vel is a cosmic entity or a hybrid like that and either Vel has this power to give protection, or immortality, or whatever to whomever he bonds with, or maybe they're half siblings

It's kind of bounced around the idea that Quill's immortal-state came from Vel but I can't figure out a plausible way for that--

I was telling Cap about the difference between how Dane copes with his trauma vs how Mylo copes with his, and we got into how the difference in physical vs psychological trauma. And I was talking about how Mylo's was mostly physical, I'm rethinking that

<3 I love you very much, but what I have planned for Mylo puts Dally to shame. Trying to decide what his home planet should be like though, I almost feel like dieselpunk esc world, taking bits of inspo from the structure of the real world in Ready Player One type of vibe

Royal Fire: Flaming Torpedo is like a brother to me. We grew up together before he split off to begin his own pack. I know of this Fire Watcher but haven't seen him yet.
