You aren't even descended from my favorite two ever mist wolves. Yet you look so much like them, minus a few splotches.

Fire alpaca is pretty good, so I do have to agree there, but i suppose everything has to do with tastes, medibang is extremely similar to fire alpaca but i prefer it over fire alpaca, so I'd highly recommend trying out every free program that seems interesting to you and see how it feels and works best for you tbh. It's harder to do that with paid programs but I know clip and sai have demos at the very least

Lots of professionals like to use Clip Studio but personally my boyfriend has had nothing but problems with it...

I know friends of mine like Fire Alpaca. If you have access to an iPad go for Procreate. It's a one time $10 payment with pretty professional quality and super user friendly

Depending on what your looking for, like rageing stormz said, krita, medibang, and fire alpaca are fairly good free programs, but for paid programs I'd recommend something like clip paint studio or paint tool sai, from my experience with digital art programs. Clip studio paint has to be my favorite program out of them all though and it goes on sale rather often.

I've been thinking about opening up commissions again, but I haven't done it in forever and I'm honestly not the best at determining art prices outside of adoptables.
This is my most recent piece, took me about 3 days to finish. The bust alone took me about 8 hours, and one fullbody took about 12.

Aside from just commission prices in general, I'm also curious about how much the above piece by itself would be worth. If y'all could share your opinions that would be amazing

Honestly, I would think either 1 or 2 apples or 1200 mush, this is great. But you can choose yourself if you will make discounts.
from Doom, with love.

I'd say 2-4apples for a bust and 6-8apples for a full body. For commission prices I'd say 3apples but it depends what they are asking for, if it's a harder one I'd say 5apples but it is up to you^^

If you're not sure how to price something, a commission auction is a great place to start!

Before I ever made an art shop I did commission and YCH auctions and they're a good way to see what people are happy to spend.

I'd usually start with a low SB [starting bid] at 100 or 500 mush, have a MI [minimum increase] of 100 mush and then whatever AB [autobuy] you feel comfortable with! You don't have to include an AB if you don't want to, but I find auctions with ABs typically tend to do better.

As you haven't done commissions in a while, I'd do an auction for a commission piece, include a few examples of recent work and maybe place an AB at 10 apples and see how it does?

The key to auctions is advertising a lot, especially if people haven't seen a lot of your art before!
