Appearance:
Besides her horse being quite intimidating at times, and quite tall...Maeve is the exact opposite.
Now she isn't exactly tiny, but she is quite petite, though she is still able to ride her horse because she fits just a few inches over his height low. Maeve stands at exactly 5'5 feet tall, she weighs about 110 or so pounds, and is quite slender for her age. She is attractive though, she has longer muscular legs and what people would consider almost an hourglass shaped body, she is curvy and there are a few placed where she wishes she could improve.
Maeve has a heart shaped face, she has sharp cheek bones that blend in nicely into her face, they aren't to prominent by you can see their existence. The young woman has slightly tanned skin which goes nicely with her deep blue eyes. She has just below shoulder length hair, so is long enough to put up in a ponytail which Maeve does in competitions and training. She doesn't wear a whole lot of makeup, just enough to make her appear a bit more awake than she in reality... Is hardly awake. Maeve absolutely loves wearing riding gear, its almost a comfort to her...like, she actually works with horses! How cool is that? She loves dressing Jax and herself up with different tack sets and will often be seem trying on a new color palette.

Backstory:
For Maeve, horses came into her life way before she started riding them in competitions and other events. She grew up with them, trained them, sold them, and even befriended some of the horses on her fathers western ranch. She soon had to move to the city when she was about 8 years of age, she was devastated... As she was leaving all of the horses and the ranch life now- But the good thing about living in the city, was that Maeve could also join in riding clubs and at barns.
She started competing with different horses and was still looking when she finally came across Jax. He had looked so tired...so worn out when Maeve had first found out about him. And for that exact reason, she had bid on him...and surprisingly she won! She started boarding him at the stables and they have come so far together...its almost unbelievable.

This boy is quite the stunner really, you would probably have to look twice when you see him pass.
Jax is a fairly large gelding, for his breed anyways, from the withers down he stands at roughly 16'4 hands tall. The male weighs at about 1,500-1,600 pounds. He has a long, strong but elegant looking body form. His long neck just makes him appear even more so, he has long, semi-muscular legs, you wouldn't want to get in a first fight or rather a hoof fight with him. You can tell just how he enters a ring, that he means business and he's not going to let anything get in the way of him. Jax has a naturally tucked neck, making him look professional when he is warming up and doing his activities. He has incredibly smooth gates, but he is just a tad bit bouncy in his trot, but Maeve and him have been working on that so it should improve soon. He naturally picks his legs up pretty high when moving around, making him have a powerful, fact look to him as he moves. His ears are always perked forward, alert, and his eyes are always aware of his surroundings.
Jax has an absolutely stunning coat color, even though it may just be a simple color he carried it out to go along with him eye catching demeanor. The gelding is a dark, dark bay, almost black looking with quite a bit of lighter shades of brown around his hock and mouth, the insides of his ears as well as around his legs are just a shade lighter than the rest of his body. Giving him some sort of ombreish look. Jax, if you look closely, has blotched dappled around his stomach and on his neck. He also has quite the large light pink snip going from his left side of his lip to just above his nostril. The snip then evens out and sort of combines into his bald white face marking. He also has a sock on his left front leg and a long stocking on his back left and right legs. His mane is a deep brown, matching his eye and coat color.
He is favored by Maeve tack colorations, including baby pink, mint green, and crimson tack sets.

Backstory:
This gelding came from a high ranked lineage of highly respected racers as well as a couple show jumpers. His previous owners had bred him for possibly dressage work, but that just didn't seem to be working as well as they would have liked for him. They had also had two young children at the time and were using him for beginner riders, that didn't turn out that well either... After a few accidents the family just couldn't keep him any more because of safety reasons for their children. Now, Jax is by no means an aggressive horse, he was just put in the same uncomfortable situation multiple times and finally got fed up with it and bucked both the kids off on a doubke bareback ride.
He was sold to a few more owners after that, who then just sold him for profit at auctions until finally...one day a young woman bid on him. This young woman was named Maeve, and she planned on keeping him as a forever companion and possibly a project horse. Jax was finally at peace with her, maybe it was because she was a lot older and more mature than the four year old girls who previously rode him, or maybe it was just her energy that got him interested.
