Humans ruled the Earth with their weapons of mass destruction and battered and bruised Mother Earth - however, she had a plan herself. One day, humans just simply vanished from the face of the Earth.
It seemed a cruel joke, but soon animals found that they were free from man's hand, and so they began to live - live like their ancestors in the wild. Plants and nature flourished, ivy and vine plants overtook once human structures and animals began making homes in them.
Years passed by quickly until these terra-beings were merely myths. The world was quite peaceful at the beginning. However, as the world passed and offspring was produced it became clear that what humans deemed "purebreds" were slowly fading away and being over taken by Impure or "mutts" of dog breeds.
In a city lived a civilization of Purebred dogs , they were 15 of 25 remaining known purebreds, and the remaining 5 were a group simply known as The Pure Ones while the pack of "mutts" and possibly 4 purebreds were know as the New Order.
These dogs have heard rumors of a plant. Simply known as Mystiqué, a beautiful blue-hued fern that has golden glowing marks. The rumors say it can bring back the life of a deceased dog, and some even believe it can cause the impurities of a mutt to disappear. Now, it's a race of time for these dogs to find this mythical plant that may or may not exist.
Fangs and claws will clash it's just a matter of who's side you're on and where your loyalties lie. (Credits to The Witchborn, Spellbound, Interstellar Sun) .... Roles Art team These people will have assigned pages to work on. These can vary from one to five or more panels. Deadlines will vary, but you'll have two weeks at max. Certain people may do just shading or backgrounds, while others may do everything- sketch, line, color, shade, background. .. Editors You do not need artistic skills to join us here on the editorial team! Your job will be to check over for any grammar or spelling errors on the pages before they are released. You may also point out the problems with character designs and things. ... Plotting help Your job will be to help carry on the plot! Communicate with me, add in your two sense! You are essentially the base of the comic. We need you! ... Step-ins You will be backup! Say someone backs out mid-page or something, you will step in to finish the work they didnt. .... Want to add your character? Want your character to star in the comic? Be a side character, or even just be there for a page? We can do that! Just follow the 'character submission' form and you might just be able to get your furry children drawn. All I ask is that they have a clear reference! <3 .... Shitposts and side strips Feel free to make doodles of the characters. Or even make little comics based on the main one! Hey there! I'd love to participate, however I'm not sure if there's really a category for what I'd like to do (there might be, so Im asking!)
I'd absolutely *adore* to help with some of the designs for the characters, if you'd be open to that? I dont have enough time at the moment to dedicate page artwork, so I'm not sure if charcater designing would be part of the art team or not? If you already have designs/have all slots filled, thats alright, I'd also be happy to be a step-in :) |
