Eagle, honestly 90% of the time I don't even use a reference unless the pose is a bit out of my general range xD But honestly ai definitely suggest having a real wolf photo on you phone of computer while you sketch ^^ Also having those general shapes help out a lot too~~

Does anyone know how battle damage is calculated? Seems a little wonky that wolves with 'bite' cause 23 damage and wolves with 'skull crush' cause 25 damage when in battle..? Also the skull crush wolves have full battle, resolve, and agility where the bite/claw wolves only have full battle.

Only two moves give you a damage boost. That's Skull Crush and one other one I don't have at the top of my head.

Damage is affected by: Battle CP, Weight, and Moves (where Skull Crush and Dmg Boost Move #2 come in).

Resolve boosts accuracy, and Agility boosts evasion. They do not affect amount of damage caused.

I believe your wolves get +2 damage added onto their total damage when they reach 225 BE, and another +2 damage added on when they reach 525 BE.

However, the amount of damage your wolf deals is affected by all those things Venn said. The BE damage boost is just added onto that total amount.

Thank you both for the answers.

It was just odd to me that wolves with filled attributes of 'battle', 'resolve', and 'agility' with much higher battle experience (and no negatives for natural disasters) can lose to the same number of wolves with only 'battle' filled and a smattering of CP in the others and with much lower battle experience (fewer than 25).

Would the wolves' weights account for this, then?

Yes, I'd believe the wolves' weights would most likely be the reason for this.

Here's a little guide to a wolf's weight and it's correspondence to damage in battle, if it helps. ^^
