Lucian Layn Blackwood ⟩⟩ Lucy/BK ⟩⟩ Male ⟩⟩ 25 ⟩⟩ Vampire ⟩⟩> Mentions: Calliope (Indir.) Driver (NPC, Dir.) Mr Falworth (NPC, Dir.) Saul (Dir.)
The streets continued to pass in a pleasant blur of different colours, from the passing buildings to outfits people wore and even to the cars that drove by. Lucy's eyes happily scanned over everything as the surroundings began to look more familiar to him. There was a store near this end of town he just absolutely adored so he always made sure to frequent it. They had outfits for almost every occasion and style, from more old school retro type clothing, to more exotic and eye catching stuff. It was his favourite not only for himself, but for the gifts he often ordered to be delivered there for Calliope. The two constantly went about, nit picking others choices in fashion while they happily conversed about almost anything and everything, and he was sure today would be no different.
"Just park up over here, I just need to quickly pick up a little something." Lucy requested cheerily, his voice dripping with excitement for this new order he was picking up. Oh how he knew Calli would ADORE it. The driver gave a soft nod, before turning on the indicator of his car as he pulled up towards the curb, effortlessly switching it to park.
"Do you still need me to wait here for you to get back?" The driver asked with a warm smile. He likely already knew the answer, but it never hurt to double check, right?
"Of course Boo. I'll be back in two shakes of a lambs tail, you just sit tight right there for me." Lucy instructed before opening the door of the car.
The fresh morning air yet again greeted him as he stepped onto the pavement, reaching a hand up as he lowered his sunglasses ever so slightly to observe the store front. Not overly busy or crowded. Just the way he liked it for these kinds of trips.
His dress shoes tapped a little loudly on the concrete as he watched the glass doors of the establishment slide open before him to greet him inside.
"Ah! Mister Lucian Blackwood himself has come to grace us with his presence yet again! Such a wonderful surprise!" The store owner instantly beamed as he walked out from behind the counter. He was a slightly older gentleman, his hair speckled with white and grey's, a tell of his lengthy time alive. He had kind and gentle blue eyes, and a moustache that curled at the tips, making his smile seem all the wider as he stepped up to Lucy. The two shared a sort of embrace, holding elbows and upper arms as they both greeted each other with two small kisses by the cheeks.
"Ahh it's so good to see you again Mister Falworth. Tell me, how has the business been treating you?" Lucy beamed as he stepped past the older man, casting his hot pink gaze to the many mannequins and other displays around the shop.
"Same as always Mister Blackwood. It's always a pleasant and welcome sight to see you come in. Not many still hold such eyes for high quality designer clothing such as this." Mr Falworth said a little downcast as he ran a finger along a coat on a mannequin, tugging it gently as he fixed the crease that was forming.
"I take it you've come for your order yes? It's just in the back. I'll go fetch it for you. I won't be a moment-" The older man smiled before he disappeared behind the counter and through the door in the nearby wall. Lucy was left on his own for a few moments, his eyes temporarily settling on a few of the others who were in the shop as well. Human, vampire, you could even be a leprechaun for all he cared.. But if you could show you had taste in good fashion, that you could appreciate such designs, then you had his respect.
The shop itself was a little on the smaller side, thanks to it needing to share such a large building with other shops that lined the street. It's interior was rather lavish, with warm yellow lights on a crystal chandelier that dangled from the ceiling, to the glass podiums and their golden rims. There were some decorative black curtains that added to the overall atmosphere too, granting some slight relief from the otherwise brighter colours.
They didn't only focus on clothes either. While it was the shops main focus were such items, they also had small spaces with other accessories like jewelry, hand bags, shoes and more. Lucy's eyes fell upon a lovely set of high heels. They were glossy black in colour with a red underneath, decked with some lovely stiletto heels and a pointed tip where the toes rested. "My... That might just go perfectly with the rest of one of the outfits I ordered for her." He mused before carefully gripping a pair as he held it up for closer inspection.
His attention however was shortly brought back to the counter as he heard a small shuffle, watching as Mr Falworth from before returned from the back room, big bags in hand. "Here we go Mister Blackwood, that's the three sets, all packaged separately as requested." The older man huffed, looking a little red in the cheeks.
"Oh, thank you so very much! If it wouldn't be too much to ask though, these shoes... You wouldn't happen to have them in a slightly larger size would you? I'd love to pair them with one of the orders there." Lucy asked with an overly sweet tone as Mr Falworth let out a hearty chuckle.
"It's never too much Mr Blackwood, here, I'll even put these in as a little extra. A gift, if you may." Mr Falworth spoke humbly as he shifted the shoe box carefully into one of the three bags, before giving it the softest pat.
"Should you need anything more, you know where to find me." He finished as he handed the bags over to Lucian, who gladly took them, looping his arm through two of the bags handles, then settling to carry the other in his hand like normal.
"Many thanks to you Mr Falworth! You're such a dear! I'll be sure to visit again soon~!" Lucy called out as he stepped back out onto the sidewalk, the constant changes between warm to cold then back again was starting to get to him a little. He started making his way back down to where the driver was waiting for him in his car, the vehicle having not moved an inch from where Lucy had requested it to wait for him.
He was about to continue on his way when he caught sight of a familiar mop of brown hair making their way down the street. Now it wasn't all that eye catching to start of with, but when you paired that hair to the roughly 6 foot tall body and the sapphire eyes. The features did seem to paint a picture of an all too familiar face. Lucy slowed his steps, a small smile gracing his lips.
In the short time Lucy had been hanging around the city, both with work and other business, he had grown particularly fond of the boy he sometimes bumped into outside of all those meetings and other get togethers.
"Now here's a sight I haven't seen a hot minute. If I didn't know any better I'd say you've been hiding from me, Saul!" Lucy purred teasingly as he waved to the boy, doing his best not to disturb the bags he was carrying as Lucy made his way over to Saul, bright eyed and spirited.
"Such a gorgeous day today hm? It does wonders for you Angel." Lucian hummed as he complimented the boy, taking in the tanned skin, the soft dusting of freckles and the way his eyes caught small bits of the sun that made them practically glow like clear blue ponds.
