Redemption
I hate the title. Leave me alone.

In a world absorbed in electronics and social media, child deliquency has been running rampant, leaving the world in the hands of future adults who often feel left out, misunderstood, and angry. They aren't to be blamed for this, though, it's the world that they have inherited, without any true instruction on what to do with it. Attempts have been made in the past to change that narrative, but they've all failed, leaving the young adults confused and lost more than before.

Unfortunately, just like humans, some equines are not given a fair shake at life from the get go. Some are left behind, forgotten, or just down right neglected, treated as if their lives are just somehow less important than others. As sad as it may be, many of these creatures go through life without anyone opening another door for them.

However, the Tranquility Ranch, a horse rescue, has decided to work with the largest Juvenile Hall in the area to try and chance that. Believing that hard work, hard days, and horses could help put these young deliquents on a better bath, they have come up with an agreement with the state government. Ten Deliquents will be taken to the Ranch's new Summer Camp [Donated to them by the High Meadows Riding Academy who supports this idea] for a summer program, where they will stay until the end in hopes that they will leave, in some way, reformed. If they can give these kids a better life, a place where they learn that they mean something, they believe the world will be a better place.

These ten teenagers will have a hard summer ahead of them, everything in them put to a test, but in the end, it could be worth it.Where they will be put to the test to change the life of one forgotten horse in just one summer. They will be tasked with gentling and train these horses to be, at least, Ranch horses, and prepare them for the End of Summer Challenge. This challenge will not only test the training of the rider and horse, but also the bond they have built. The winner at the end of the tournament will win a full scholarship to the High Meadows Academy, and should they wish, the horse they trained will become theirs. Permanently.

So today, May 27th, their lives will change forever. Hopefully for the Better.

My Roleplay Rules
Follow all of WP's and Eve's Rules
1. Be Active. Do not Join never to be active. This applies to Discussion and Rp.

2. This is a Semi-Literate Rp. All Rp Post must be a Minimum of 1 Paragraph of at least 5 Full Sentences with Decent Punctuation, Spelling, & Grammar.

3. Reservations will last for 48 Hours. Extentions may only be given if you ask, but I make no promises.

4. Be Respectful. To Everyone. Characters can fight in Rp, but I want NO OOC drama.

5. Follow WP's Rules when using stock for the Horses. For this rp only stock from Deviantart is accepted. This is also a Semi-Realistic Rp, verging closer to Realistic. Horses must be realistic colors, even for their breed.

6. Maximum 4 Characters Per Person for Now. This means: Two Humans, Two Horses Maximum.

7. No Perfect Characters, God Modding, or anything of the Sort. Please put your favorite breed of horse in the other section of your Rp if you've read this far.

8. Also, don't have your character be "That Guy". You know the one. While breaking rules can be fun, it isn't when it's constant. So just don't be "That Guy".

10. The Horses Cannot be Untameable or Untrainable. All the horses are supposed to be trained, or at least gentled/started, at some point. So they can be difficult, but not impossible.

11. For the Purpose of this Rp, there will be no Foals right now. But maybe later? Who knows. Romance with Students and Horses is allowed, encouraged, and we love it.

12. Try to pick breeds that haven't been used multiple times, but this is more of a recommendation than a requirement.

13. I will be assigning Horses to Riders, so don't be surprised if you don't get paired with who you had in mind.

14. Read Everything. If you have put the missing number in your form somewhere, hide it please.

15. Have Fun!

Information on the Camp

This camp will last one full summer. All the riders are of different experience levels with horses. Some could be near experts, having been riding since they can remember and likely showing in competitions as well. Others might be completely green, and have no experience at all. Riders will be paired with horses that match their experience level. A green rider will be with an easier horse than a more experienced rider to keep things fair.

The riders, or students, will be the ones training and caring for their horses every day. However, there will be instructors (rpable as side characters) who will be there to guide and supervise them, as well as two camp counselors [1 for each dorm building] who will also act as instructors. Some of these intructors will also be judges for the trails at the end. But basically, the riders will live, breathe, and sleep the camp. Of course, there will be fun mixed in though.

The horses of this camp will come from all sorts of backgrounds. Some could be grade horses or ponies, while some could have some of the purest of bloodlines or be extremely well bred. None of that matters though, because they all wound up at the same place: Tranquility Ranch Rescue. All of these horses have been overlooked at the rescue for one reason or another, and have been brought to the camp as a last ditch effort to help them find homes. Whether it be with their riders after the camp, or by someone else who saw the horse because of the camp, or even a ranch who is willing to take them as ranch horses now that they've had some current training. Either way, their goal is to get the horses into better places.

At the end of the 12 weeks (aka summer break), the riders will all take place in various trials. What hasn't been announced to the students is that the rider who does best overall will be given a full ride scholarship to the High Meadows Riding Academy, and will be able to permanently keep their horse if they wish.

The Camp Schedule

While the riders will be the ones training the horses, there is still a daily schedule and classes to be held to aid them.

Daily Schedule
*This applies to every day but Saturday & Sunday

8:00 Am - Morning Bells
8:30 Am - Breakfast
9:30 Am - Morning Horse & Tack Care
11:30 Am - Group Horse Gentling/Bonding
1:00 Pm - Lunch
2:00 Pm - Disciplines & Ranch Class
3:00 Pm - Individual Training Period
5:00 Pm - Individual Horse Bonding
6:00 Pm - Wind Down Period
6:30 Pm - Evening Horse Care
7:30 Pm - Dinner
8:30 Pm - Evening Bonfire
10:00 Pm - Evening Bells & Nightly Rounds

Weekly Schedule Explaination

8:00 Am: The Morning Bells will ring at this time every weekday morning, except Saturday. This is to signify that the riders need to get up, get ready, and be in the lunch room by 8:30 Am.

8:30 AM: Breakfast is held in the lunch room every morning. Different meals will be served by the culinary staff, and they will know of any dietary restrictions before hand, and make sure they are followed for that rider.

9:30 Am: Morning Horse & Tack Care is a two part class and training perod. There will be lessons in this period, as well as them actually doing the care themselves. Riders will learn the expectations for horse and tack care on the first day, and it will be upheld through the whole summer.

11:30 Am: Group Horse Gentling/Bonding will take place in a group setting, where instructors can help students begin the process of gentling and bonding with their horse. They will be exceptionally vigilant of the horses who they know are extraordinarily difficult. These classes may either go one at a time, or in a group setting of all at once.

1:00 Pm: Lunch, pretty simple.

2:00 Pm: The Disciplines and Ranch Class is an unsuual hybrid class. It's to go over the different disciplines so that each of the students can kind of decide what might fit them. While also going over things they'll need to train their horse for to be a ranch horse, as, if they aren't adopted, that's likely what they'll become. It gives them the tools they need to choose their future and help prepare their horse for theirs.

3:00 Pm: Individual Training period will be the time they get to train their horses on their own away from their peers. They can either be alone, or have 1:1 time with an instructor.

5:00 Pm: Individual Horse Bonding is a period where people get to spend time with their horse. Whether to work on commands, training, etc. Or just to simply spend time with them. Either way this hour is mostly just dedicated to aiding them build a bond with their horse.

6:00 Pm: The Winding Down Period is a thirty minute session dedicated to cleaning arenas that havent been yet, putting equipment away, etc. This is also a time where if all of that is done, they are free to do whatever before they go to take care of their horse.

6:30 Pm: Evening Horse Care is exactly as it sounds. They put their horses where they need to be for the evening, feed them, etc. They also use this hour to prepare things for the following day.

7:30 Pm: Dinner, Self Explanatory.

8:30 Pm: The Evening Bonfire is something the camp does as like a socialization hour. The Riders and instructors get to relax and sit back, put their feet up. They do not have to be at the bonfire, but they can be if they. This is also the time where if they need to shower, anything else, etc. they can.

10:00 Pm: The Evening Bells signify the time when everyone needs to be in their dorm rooms. They don't necessarily need to go to sleep, however, they do have to be in their rooms. Instructors will go around and check rooms to be sure everyone is accounted for too.

The Weekends

The Weekends are the only days that do not have a set schedule unless sent out in advance that there will be some activity or competition. This means on the weekends, the riders may do as they please. They are still expected to care for their horse, but they do not have training or anything. There is a time slot for visitation from family though, so families will come during those times to visit on either day [whichever works best for the family].

Family Visitation Hours: 11 Am - 4 Pm

Acitivities that Riders Can Do:
-Visit the Nearby Town (Shop, Movies, Food, etc.)
- Movie Night at the Camp
- Trail Ride (If they have a horse they can go on)
- Swim at the Nearby Lake or River
- Canoe or Paddle Board at Nearby Lake

The Camp Dorms

There are three main buildings for the camp, and then the large stables, paddocks and pastures, and the arenas. The buildings are made up of two Dorm Buildings, and another large building that holds everything else.

The dorm buildings are single story cabins that have several rooms, each set up to hold two riders. The rooms are completely furnished for the riders, so that all they have to bring is themselves and their own clothes and personal items. However, if they wish to bring their own linens, they certainly can. The rooms hold two twin beds, two dressers, two nightstands, two small desk and two small closets. Often the bed and the desks are furnished into one, so the bottom is the desk, with the bed on the top as a bunk. Each dorm has it's own kitchen and great room that all the riders for that dorm have access too. Each bedroom also has its own bathroom connected to it so that only two riders share one bathroom. The kitchens are primarily unusued for anything other than snacks, drinks, etc.

The third building, which is referred to mainly as the "Main Building" holds several things. On the first floor, and most prominently, is the lunch room where everyone eats their meals. There are multiple tables setup to accomadate them all. The room is connected directly to the large kitchen where staff prepare meals for all. There are also several office rooms where instructors and other head staff use during the day, which includes a nurse station. The second floor holds a couple of classrooms, exactly two really, though there is rarely more than one in use at a time. It also holds a Library for the students to use. The second floor holds a couple of other small rooms, but they aren't for student use. The third floor is the rooms for the instructors and staff. They aren't anything special.

The Camp Stables

While the dorms and other buildings are pretty normal, the stables here are eye catching. New and top of the line, these stables are everything an equestrian could ever want. There is one large building which houses all the horse stall, wash talls, tack room, etc. It's a long, large building with dark wood interior.

Each horse has it's designated stall marked by a name plate, with a sliding, latchable door to the inside of the stable, and a back door that leads to a small paddock of the horse's own. Some horse stalls have been specially rigged to lead to larger pastures out of safety precautions. Each stall has the necessities, which includes water and food buckets, and a spot for hay. The backdoors can be left open to their paddock, fully closed, or with the bottom closed an top open.

In the camp there are also two covered arenas, as well as two outside arenas, three larger pastures, two rounds pends, and 3 medium sized pastures. All of these and the stables take up quite a bit of space, but all are within walking distance of the dorms, the builders having utilized space in an efficient way. There are also things like several marked trails, a practice course for cross country, and more.

Need to Know Information & Beginning Posts

All the Riders of the Camp received the same packet about the camp after being chosen at the Juvenile Delinquent Facility, letting them know what to expect and everything the camp entails. They fully know what they are getting into. However, they do not know which horse they will be assigned to yet, they will happen on the first day.

The rp will start with the riders arriving to the camp in the morning, they will check in at the lunch room where a make shift check in station has been put up. They will check in, receive a map of the grounds, a page of the camp rules, and their room number within their cabin dorm. They will not be told their roommate, as they will have to introduce themselves.

Check in Starts at 8:30 Am.

They Must be in the Stables by 11 Am.

At the Stables, they will get a brief introduction from the Camp Head, and will be introduced to the Camp Instructors. This will also be their first glimpse at some of the horses. After that they will get a tour of the grounds, eventually arriving outside the stables again, where they will be assigned to their horse and given a very brief, basic file on it that has vague informtion in it.

At the point, they'll have a few minutes to mingle and see their horses, before heading to lunch. The rest of the day will be a free day for them to get settled and see the grounds. The only schedule they will abide by is for meals and curfew.

The second day is when the work will begin.

____________________________________

The Horse Files
Obviously, because this is a rescue and these are rescue horses, they all have very extensive files on them. However, this is not the file the Riders will be given right at the beginning. Instead they will have a small file with basic information in it. Below are what the File will Include:
- Basic Stats of Name, Age, Breed
- List of their Specific Tack
- Current Pictures of the Horses
- Most Recent Vet Check

After the First Week, the Students will have to turn in a project of everything they've learned about their horse, and what their thoughts are on the why behind the horse's behavior. This assignment is to ensure the riders are taking this seriously, and are taking the time to get to know the horse they've been assigned. Once they completely this project, they are given the full extensive file on the horse so they'll know in detail all it's behavior and possibly medical issues, and the reasons behind them.

It's important to note that none of the horses behaviorial issues are explicitly stated in the original small file, the riders will have to discover them for themselves. Since none of these horses are dangerous to the degree that death is a threat, this information was kept from them. The parents know, they were given the low down on everything ahead of time. The riders will still have access to varies resources to help them, and instructors are prepared to intervene if they feel it's necessary.

Tabitha "Blue" Zanaiga
Rider/Delinquent | F | 16 Years | Mentions: NPCs, Open

Eli: Don't worry, sis. It won't be that bad. It's basically just a Summer Horse Camp before you go to school. Delivered. 8:27 AM

Blue eyes stared at the screen of her phone as it glared back up at her. There was a palpable silence sitting in the car as it wound down the dirt road in the final stretch to her summer destination. Why couldn't her mother have brought William along? She was always more at ease whenever her twin was around. Instead both Eli and their younger brother, Lucas, had stayed home, which meant she was forced to take the drive with her mother, and just her mother.

"Baby, I promise this won't be that bad. You might even enjoy it! You used to love riding horses, don't you remember?" Her mother's voice was half pleading and half tired, and Tabitha glanced at her for a moment, before sneering and looking out the window again.

"What, do I have memory problems now too? I remember just fine, thank you," her voice came out, dripping with venom and hatred, but it wasn't necessarily directed at her mother, but the memories they were speaking of. "If I had wanted to go to a horse camp, and thought it would just magically fix all my problems, I think I would have said something by now, mom," she leaned back in her chair and pursed her lips, which shimmered with the light pink gloss she had put on earlier.

Besides her Ms. Zanaiga sighed quietly, reaching out to gently pat her daughters knee, before returning it to the steering wheel. "You shouldn't let what happen cloud how you feel about something you enjoy. It's by no mean responsible for what has happened, Tabby-Cat," her mother gently urged, but realized her mistake too late when her daughter's head whipped to the side to glare daggers into her.

"Don't call me that!" She snapped, eyes narrowed further with unconcealed anger. "Don't ever call me that," she hissed out, her hands clenching into fists.

"I know, I'm sorry, sweetie, I forgot," her mother winced to herself, and let the silence settle between them again. It seemed like lately she just couldn't say the right thing to her daughter.

This time, though, it was Tabitha who broke the silence between them. "It's fine, I know it's not your fault," she said, her voice quieting a bit as she relaxed a bit again in the seat. She shot a wary glance at her mom, taking in the dark bags beneath her eyes, and the winkles that creased her forehead. To Blue, her mother was beautiful, always had been, even now when she looked tired and worn out there was a beauty to her that she deeply admired. She could never understand why her father had abandoned them, abandoned her, and she doubted she ever would considering he hadn't spoken to them in about two years.

"We're here, Blue," the middle aged woman announced as the Ford Escape she drove came to a stop and she put it in park. "Come on, lets go get you checked in," she said, not even skipping a beat when she slid out of the car and moved to get the two bags her daughter had brought with her.

"Right," Tabitha said as she followed suit and exited the car. She knew just be looking at the Camp and then at herself that she certainly didn't belong her. Maybe at one point, but not anymore. Her current attire, which was a black turtlenecked tank top, light blue hooded crop jacket, and a pair of white skinny jeans. For shoes she wore a simple pair of white skate shoes, though they were scuffed and worn, and closer to light grey at this point. She hadn't gone overboard with her accessories either, keeping it to the silver, small hooped ear rings, and a few silver bands on her wrist.

While she hadn't done anything wild with her styling her hair, the dark blue pigment was obviously unnatural. She had kept her hair straight today, like usual, and had simply brushed it, so it did flare up at the ends a bit. She didn't have a load of makeup on, but enough that it was clear she was. She wore foundation, eyeshadow that was a few shades darker than her eyes, and the soft colored lip gloss. She hadn't done much more than that, not even adding color to her cheeks, because she didn't really care.

Groaning quietly to herself, she trudged to the back of the car and pulled out one of her two suitcases, her mother insisting on helping her with at least one. From there they checked in, and were likely one of the first, if not the first, since her mother had insisted on being there right at 8:30 AM. After checking in, a process that Blue pretty much zoned out of completely, she and her mother exited the building and walked to the building where they quickly dumped her suitcases onto her chosen bed and exited the room quickly. Ms. Zanaiga knew her daughter wouldn't want her mother hovering in her new space for long.

In the parkinglot Tabitha awkwardly looked at her toes as he mother rubbed her shoulders, a clear sniffle to her as she began to spoke. "Okay sweetie, you've got everything you need. You can text or call me if you need anything. We'll be here on Saturday to come see you," she said, offering a tearful smile. She hated the idea of just leaving her oldest daughter here at a camp, but she truly hoped it would do her some good to.

"Will you bring Eli?" Tabitha asked, lighting up for a moment about her twin. They had said goodbye earlier, but it still felt weird to be away from her twin for the entire summer.

"Yes, of course. I don't think Elijah would give me any choice otherwise," the two chuckled softly at the fact, and Ms. Zanaiga nodded after a moment. "Okay," she said again and this time hugged her daughter briefly, delighted inwardly when she hugged her back, even if it was just for a second. "Okay," her mother whispered again, and turned back for the car.

"Text me when you get home, mom," Blue called out to her mother's back, who paused and tossed a smile and wave over her shoulder before climbing into the car. Tabitha could tell from where she stood that her mother was basically sobbing as she pulled out of the spot and drove away.

Grimacing half to herself, she rubbed at the new found emptiness in her chest, and turned on her heels as she headed back to her room. She wasn't sure if she'd have a roommate or not, but, eitherway, she wanted to get her stuff put away really quickly before she would have to meet in the stables as instructed.

There was an overwhelming silence in the car as she was driven down the long road. The faint sound of the tires rumbling beneath the moving car was really all the sound there was. This is stupid.. The girl thought to herself before she looked over at her mother. The girl had just moved out when she got the call tht she was going to be attending this "camp". It was both irritating yet exciting. Horses had always been a big part of the girls life, so, she hoped this would help calm her down a bit. The girl shuffled in her seat a bit, earning the attention of her mother, "Stop pouting, it isn't that bad." Forest looked over at her mother as she furrowed her brows, "You aren't the one that has to stay with a bunch of people you don't know, now are you?" she asked hastily. Forest then slunk back into the seat and folded her arms across her chest.

The girls mother let out an exasberated sigh, "You know, I'm only trying to help you." The woman spoke as she looked back and forth from her daughter to the road. Forest just ignored her mother, her crystal blue eyes looking out the passanger side window. It was clear the two didn't have a good relationship, But Forest couldn't really care less. "How long until we're there?" she asked, not bothering to look at her mother. "Ten minutes," Her mother answered simply.

Then there was silence..

It felt like the longest ten minutes of her life. As they rolled down the long drive, Forest sat up a bit in her seat and looked around. This place seemed alright enough. Letting out a small exhale through her nose, Forest looked over at her mother, "All I ask is that you don't come to visit.. I'd rather not see your face the rest of the summer." she mentioned towards her mother, not caring for the look of hurt on the womans face as the car rolled to a stop. Forest soon looked forward, watching as the mother and daughter hugged before the mother got back into the car and drove back down the driveway where her car had just came from. "Great.. A softie already and it isn't even nine in the morning.." she mumbled, watching the girl enter a building. "Give me a hug." Her mother spoke, Forest looked over at her mother with a look of digust as she got out of the car, "Mybe if you would've paid attention a little more when I was younger, you'd get a hug." she spoke, grabbing her bags out of the backseat before slamming the door. Forest listened to her mothers wails as she walked away from the car. But, a look of pure uncaringness was on the young womans face. Silence filled the air once more as Forest set her bags in front of her. Her long pitch black hair waved down her back and carressed her face. Her strong jaw was clenched as she refused eye contact with the other now as she pulled her phone out of her pocket. She looked down at her phone and sighed softly. There was a text message. One. Simple. Message.

Hey girl! Hope you have fun at camp! Auntie loves you!

- Delievered at 8:33 AM

Forest rolled her eyes and put her phone back in her pocket. Soon looking around. This place seemed well kept. The stables were large and so was the area around it. The young woman soon crossed her arms over her chest and then looked down at her feet, kicking at it a bit with her boot. The woman seemed well kept, she had a nice pair of jeans on with a black tanktop and a blue flannel. She seemed to be minding her own business. But, anyone could tell what she thought about the place..

This.. wasn't going to be very fun.

The young woman then decided it'd be best to go inside the building the other had entered, picking up her bags, she'd head toward the building. She entered the building and looked at the front desk person. "I'm here to check in.. Forest Wilson." she mentioned before being allowed to go to her room. Soon enough, she entered the room she was assigned too. Seeing her name and anothers outside of the dorm room and grumbling. "Just amazing.." she mumbled as she closed the door behind her and then began to unpack. She wanted to be ready for when the instructors were ready.

Aceline 'Rouge' Leroux
Rider/Delinquent | F | 16 Years | Mentions: Blue and Forest (ind.) open

Rouge sits in the back of the limo, filing her nails with a bored look in her eyes. She listens to her older brother rant about missing work, earning her a slight smirk. Her eyes shift upwards from her work gazing at the blonde-haired fellow sitting across from her. "Darling, brother. Why so angry? I thought you'll be happy taking a break from work." Rouge spoke with heavy sarcasm in her voice, her eyes locking onto his once his attention shifted to her. "Don't go there, Aceline-" "-Rouge." She interrupted, narrowing her eyes at him. "Whatever, Aceline." He returned the stare, the tension growing heavy in the limo.

"I had a project to finish, and the deadline's approaching. I can't finish it since I have to take you to your delinquent program. Ugh, Aceline," he pinched the bridge of his nose, "why did you drag yourself into deep shit?" He mumbled, yet his question was answered with a shrug. She looked back to her nails, filing them once again. "I was bored. That's why." It was the truth. Her home all day with her parents and older brother leaving 24/7 due to their jobs was a tiring experience. All three are a bunch of workaholics. To ease the boredom, she started hanging around her fellow rich kids, albeit their a, what should I say, a criminal bunch. Her brother glared at her, his brows faltered to a heavy frown, "You did it because you're bored?" His tone grew icy, and in return, Rouge smiled.

"Yes, sir. I did it since my family has other important," she made sure to add a bit of spice to that word, "things to do besides me." His eyes went cloudy for a split second, causing Rouge to lift a brow. Him feeling guilt over something? That's new. She was going to say something else until the limo stopped, then the doors were opened for her by their darling butler. She climbed out of the vehicle, watching the servants grab her luggage from the trunk. "Careful! They're things in there worth more than a human." She was joking. . .hopefully. She tucks her nail filer away, going over to grab her belongings that were settled on the ground. She walks to the side of the road, inspecting the servants thoroughly on how fast they work. "Acel-er, Rouge." Her focus turns to her brother, the young man sticking his head out the recently rolled-down window. "Be safe. Uh. Okay?" Well, at least he's trying to sound genuine but failing terribly. Horrible for the ears, really.

She did a curtsy with a cheeky smile spreading across her lips, "I'll be fine, brother. Nice for you to worry," she stopped right there before silently continuing, "for once." He inclines his head before pulling himself back in, Rouge watching the window rolling up. She stood there for a while, observing the limo driving away from this place. Rouge raises both brows, "I could always hop on the roof and hitch a ride back home." Her joking ceased instantly. She could already imagine her parents yelling at her and them taking her precious belongings. She shudders at the thought.

"Not my luxury purses." She sighs, dragging her suitcase behind her as she heads to the ranch that'll be her summer home. "Do it for the products, Rouge." Trying to encourage herself, needing to pull through for her stuff's sake. Rouge's eyes scanned the place, but with each second, her face scrunched up in disgust at both the sight and smell. "I should've risked escaping back home. Curse my hesitance." She hissed under her breath, using her free hand to cover her nose. She pulls out her phone, goes into the GPS, and adds her house's address. While typing it again, the 'No Internet Connection' popped up in the app. "What!?! No service?!?" This place has gotten even worse.

Rouge hissed between clenched teeth, "I knew I should've gotten a better plan." She tucked her phone in her pocket-her hope of surviving the summer was gone. She shakes her head, walking over to the others that appear to be waiting on someone. Rouge watches one of the girls leave, giving a tilt of her head. She sets her rolling suitcase in front of her, pushing the handle down into the casing. Rouge took a seat on top of it, crossing her legs together while checking out the other two girls here suffering beside her. She pulls her sunglasses over her eyes, at least grateful that she won't be the only one going through an agonizing program.

Klotho Marika Sauvage Fawzi
Rider/Delinquint | Female | 17 Years | Mentions: NPCs, Forest [Ind], Rouge

"Do you have everything?" Sonal Fawzi, her mother, asked as they drove down the road, back twisted to peer at the teenager in the back seat. "Your phone, your wallet, your cards, enough clothes," the list went on and on, and it had the teenager resting her temple against the rattling window and zoning the woman out.

Sonal was blonde, a fair-skinned woman who was objectively pretty, blue eyes sparkling whenever they made contact with the sun. What a shame a beautiful woman got sucked into the black hole of riches, specifically the riches of the man behind the wheel of the car.

"You could have just had someone drive me," she said instead of answering her mothers question again. "I don't see why either of you need to leave your precious estate to come and see me off to a camp."

"Klo," Sonal began again, and the teen gave an aggravated sigh, flexing her hands as if she wished to throw them up dramatically.

"Yes, Mother, I have everything, just like I did every other time you asked," Klotho said, running one hand through her hair, the other picking at the rips in her jeans. She hadn't gone too far with her outfit, more for comfort in herself and her outfit then for looks.

Blue jeans with large rips on the thighs, fishnet stockings visible through the rips, a simple black belt, and scuffed sneakers. Her shirt was an old, baggy black shirt with a fading, previously vibrant band graphic on the front, loose enough to show the straps of her bra on her shoulders, but they were covered by the unzipped hoodie she wore, with her wrists holding only a few woven bracelets.

"I hope you know the expectation is that you don't get in any trouble, Klotho," her father, a burly man by the name Ezra, said from the drivers seat, ignoring her earlier statement. Her sigh was drowned out as he continued talking. "I know there's a town nearby, but this place is to help you, not send you spiralling further into this mess you've gotten yourself into. You're to follow all their rules, understood?"

"Yes, sir," she said, tapping her phone against her thigh, watching the camp slowly coming into view. She didn't understand it, really. Putting a bunch of troublemakers all in the same place, and hoping they wouldn't cause trouble? It was like putting dogs in front of a steak and telling them not to eat.

None of them were trained well enough for it.

The car had hardly started slowing before something like a grin lit up Klotho's face, gaze latched onto another person waiting in the parking lot, someone she recognized, and another girl. The car barely stopped before she was wretching open the handle, using her foot to push it open.

"Holy shit," she said, nodding to Rouge before shaking her head slowly. "Who knew they'd drag you here too, huh?"

She dragged her hand down the side of the car as she made her way to the trunk, grabbing her suitcase and barely acknowledging her parents, only turning to give them a half-assed fake salute, on her way to Rouge.

"Fancy seeing you here," dragging her eyes away and flicking them towards the other girl for a moment. The stranger didn't hold her attention for too long, though, either because she kept talking, or because the stranger walked away. "At least I won't be completely alone in this place, aye?" She nodded towards the lunchroom, where they were meant to be signing in. "You heading in, or are you gonna use one of your master escape plans?"

Joaquin Driscoll

17 | Rider | Male | Mentions: Aphelion [ Driver - NPC ] , Mr. & Mrs. Driscoll [ Parents - NPC ] , Other Riders [ Forest , Rouge , & Tabitha - ind. ] , Rouge & Klotho - Directly

A young man drove his own car. His Jeep being in rather good condition, the tires and coat paint shining against the sunlight as he road down the road. A soft yawn emitting from his mouth as he drove to the site f his summer torture - his phone buzzed annoyingly and he gave an irritated groan. Pushing the 'answer call' button to the phone, it then conected to the car bluetooth, "Joaquin Azikel-Kallikrates Driscoll," came the screeching voice of his mother, and he let out an exasperated sigh.

"What," he said annoyed at hearing his mother's voice, " I am driving to this camp, don't want to distract me while I'm driving now do we? Can't have your precious son drive off into a canyon, now can we." He said, sarcasm dripping from his voice, his annoyance being clear.

"Young man. Your driver was supposed to drive you to the camp. Not you going off on your own. This was not in the schedule, Aphelion is here worried sick because he went to go find you and you were gone!" his mother was ranting now, and he could barely focus over her shrill voice, and so he just began tuning her out and focusing on the road. He squinted as he took in the signs, and cursed under his breath as he turned the steering wheel, he nearly had missed his exit. " JOAQUIN." Came the shrill voice of his mother again.

" Were you even listening to me? How could you treat your mother like this? Everything I sacrificed for you ; my career? my health? my marriage!" his mother wailed, trying to get him to feel guilty for her shortcomings. Joaquin only scoffed and rolled his eyes in annoyance at this sentiment.

" No, mother." he drawled, " I am focusing on driving to this wretched camp that you and father insist I go to. And your false tears aren't swaying me. As for your career? You ruined it by doping your horse, you used to be respected but it wasn't me who made you hurt your horse like that. " He was gripping his wheel tightly in annoyance, his nails digging into the leather, "Your health? I didn't force you to smoke or drink due to your husband screwing your sister, or losing your funding. You should be greatful that you even got to retire wealthy. As for your marriage, leave me out of your messy life, go text that paramour of yours. And yeah, dad knows about you and the pool boy, your're not as secretive or sly as you think." He said ranting to her, and he took a deep breath, " Goodbye mother, don't even bother to visit, I hope by the end of this you've gotten your shit together."

He could hear his mother's explosive ranting now, but what he caught at the end, " Maybe this'll teach you how to be a real man and not be som-" he cut her off as he aggressively hit the big red hang up button. He had to take several stabalizing breaths before finding the long winding road that led to camp, and he found a parking spot rather easily. It seemed some other kids were arriving as he saw some cars pulling off, one of them being a limo.

He parked his car, and got out. His car was a rather nice Jeep Wrangler, it being a rather pretty pale blue, much like his eyes. He affectionatly called his car " Baby Blue " . His keys jingling as he put them in his pockets. His dark red hair was set in a long french braid, the color being set off by the pale blue ribbon tied into a bow at the bottom. He didn't go for fashionable, but not a slob either, he sported a rather nice pair of black riding tights with heeled black riding boots, and a simple dark blue short sleeved shirt. His nails were painted a dark blue color as well - probably would get chipped later on when he was working, he thought to himself as he fiddled with his silver necklace, it was of a moon - a momento of his past, but he needn't worry about that. He needed to focus on unpacking and meeting his horse.

He then noticed two girls talking, he took note of their clothing and the way they arrived. Hmm, some other wealthy troublemakers, he thought to himself, hopefully he'd make some sort of friends in this godforsaken place. He could try and be sociable. It wouldn't hurt to introduce himself, afterall it would be a good way to scope out the "competition" and get a general idea of the other students that'd he be around for this summer. He got his two suitcases out the car, one being a rolling suitcase and the other one being a duffel suitcase.

He approached the girls, taking in their misery. AH, so they were like him. He walked close and stopped besides them, and taking his phone out, he saw he had some texts from some old friends, his aunt, cousin, and his parents. He rolled his eyes and scoffed at the sentiments of his parents, "fakers" he hissed under his breath. He then looked to the girls saying, " Hello ladies, I would say good morning, but obviously it's not since we're in this hell hole. Gods, I swear I hope these living arrangements are proper otherwise I'll have to go to town later on."

He then paused, to gauge their reactions saying, " You guys checked in yet, or have you been here? Oh, by the way, your limo was very beautiful. Was that a Hummer or a Stretch, I couldn't really tell with it driving off." he spoke casually as he tried to figure out how to get a damn signal on his phone.
