The way I do it is to get my image in my gallery (or if on desktop, in my files) and then upload it to a service like Imgbb or Postimages. Then, I copy the image address, and go back to my bio.

In the text box, there are buttons above where you type. Insert > Image, paste the image address, and then I typically make the width and height 300x300, since most of mine are square, but you can adjust yours to be whatever fits the image you're inserting best.
