Individual Wolf AffinityAugust 28, 2019 07:06 AM

Hey guys,

I only have 2 wolves currently, my alphas, who have a good pack affinity. I can't see what affinity they individually feel for each other because it just says 'pair-bonded.' My problem at the moment is when I try to buy wolves from the trading post. I'm putting in excellent affinity and not many options are coming up, compared the number I get when I lower it to good. Clearly one of my wolves is the problem. My question is whether there is any way for me to figure out which one it is before I buy more wolves? Is there some way for me to figure out which one is basically going to be the 'difficult' wolf in the pack? It's really infuriating me that my options for buying are so limited because of it, so if one of my wolves is going to be difficult I'd like to know so I can get rid of it.

I hope this makes sense, if not just let me know and I'll try make it clearer.

I'm one of those picky people that really likes the affinity to always be excellent so this particularly bothers me!

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks

the fix could be to buy a good affinity, and see who they don't like.

You can try having one of your wolves have more dominance than one of your alphas. Then ya can see the affinity with the 2 original alphas, i think. So just buy a cheap adult wolf, get some dominance on it, and there ya go

I just bought a couple of cheap pups that were good affinity....they're both neutral with my alpha female. Guess she's the problem. Ugh that's so annoying. I need a new alpha now :(

Thanks for everyone's help. I guess this question can be closed now.

Excellent affinity is good, but is not a huge problem if you don't have it. I wouldn't give up your alpha just because the affinity isn't great, but its your call.
