A group of eight friends, all seeking some sort of relief from their daily stresses. So, they all make the decision to pool their money and rent a beautiful beach house in California. Pfeiffer Beach in Big Sur, known for its purple sand and sea caves. Quite the pricey trip, but it's up to them to make it worth while.

The Roleplay

This is a slice of life rp, with limited spots. Due to this, I will be a little picky with who I accept. Slice of life means there is no particular conflict, and is more 'go with the flow.' Anything goes, honestly. It's meant to be more chill and relaxed than the usual roleplay you'd see. Can be filled with drama, romance, or whatever else is desired.

The beach & house

Pfeiffer Beach is a beach in Big Sur, California. It has pretty purple sand, as well as caves, rocks, and woodland surrounding the beach itself. There's quite a lot to do. Explore the trails in the woods, play in the sand, tan, and swim. Maybe get drunk and have a game night. Relax in the hot tub, or go for a swim in the pool. And if staying in isn't the vibe of the night, Big Sur isn't all that far away. Known for the beautiful, mountainous terrain, it's incredible for hiking, exploring, and overall seeing the beauty of a lifetime. Explore the redwood forests, the mountains, or the various beaches on the coast. Perhaps visit the town itself, hit the bar or go on a shopping spree. Possibilities are endless.

The house itself is breathtaking. Nestled on this special beach, in a closed off section private to only those who rent out the home. Nothing short of a mansion, this home has all you could ever need. A magnificent kitchen stocked to the brim for the chefs, an entire game room for those who like video games or to get competitive with games like air hockey or pool. An indoor theater complete with recliners and a huge screen. Take a look in the wine cellar, for those seeking to try something new. Perhaps the sauna? Or the gym, or the conservatory? This house has something for everyone, no matter what your interests may be. Even a greenhouse out back.

Appearance

Evangeline is a woman of a short height, standing at 5'3. Short jokes are definitely something starting to get on her nerves, to say the least. Her skin is tanned slightly, paler in spots that don't often see the sun, like her back and chest. Her body has resemblance to an hourglass, with a small waist that curves into her wide hips. Her shoulders are small and narrow, as is her ribcage. Her legs can be described as muscular and well proportioned, something she works hard to maintain. Her thighs are somewhat thick, but only due to said muscle. She has a well defined bust, larger than average. Evangeline has soft freckling on her cheeks and nose, and some stray freckles on her forehead.

Evangeline has a rather pretty face. Her features are mostly soft. Her face is oval shaped, and her cheekbones are wider and the most prominent feature of her face. Her forehead and jawline are slightly smaller than her cheekbones, and her jawline is slightly curved around the edges. Her nose is slender and pointed at the end, upturned slightly. A very unique feature about her is her teeth. She has a double set of canines, with two very sharp canine teeth on the top row, and two very sharp canines on the bottom as well. They've always been there, and are both praised and hated on.

Evangeline has full lips, and can be described as having a well-defined pout. They are a soft pink in color, though she likes to wear red or dark red lipstick. Her eyes are very expressive and cat-like in shape and she often accentuates them with eyeliner and dark eye makeup. As for her eyes, they're the most striking thing about her. A pretty dark blue, mixed in with lighter shades of blue as well as grey. In her left eye, she has a large patch of lighter blue settled in the bottom right. Cat liner is definitely her favorite choice, as well as inner corner.

Evangeline favors her hair among her other features. An extensive care routine leads to it being long, soft and silky. It's black in color with strands and hints of brunette mixed in. When the sun hits just right, it's an array of blacks and browns. It's a little wavy and curls slightly at the ends, and falls to just about halfway down her back. Pinning it back or putting it up is a rare occasion for her, she likes to leave it down or do some sort of hairstyle. The only times it'll ever be messy is when she wakes up in the morning, when it's windy, or when it's wet. Otherwise, she always makes sure it's nice and brushed.

Attire wise, she prefers more western things. Jeans, boots, western button ups and pullovers. When she's at home, though, she prefers some type of hoodie and pajama pants, or perhaps sweatpants. Evangeline has a plethora of western clothing, as well as a few cowboy hats. It's a given that she has all of this. Jewelry is preferred by her. She's got a few bracelets made out of braided hair from her horses mane, and never takes them off. Various necklaces, as well as bracelets and rings. She has a matching set of a bracelet, ring, and necklace. They're pressed daisies enclosed in glass, and she will never ever take them off.

Personality

Evangeline matches her appearance. She's soft, gentle, and probably wouldn't hurt a fly. There's two sides to her- the motherly and affectionate, the impulsive and carefree. She often takes on more of a motherly role in the friend group, making sure everyone has their needs met and is all sorted out. And then, there's the other side. Impulsive, reckless, with no care in the world. She'll let loose and do whatever comes to mind without a second thought. Although, the carefree side of her is more reserved for being drunk and nights out or in.

One thing about her is how horribly affectionate and romantic she is. Evangeline loves physical affection, and will often come up behind one of the friends closer to her and massage them, hug them from behind, or just rest her head on their shoulder or her forehead against their back. She does not like an empty bed, she prefers to have someone there next to her at night. And when she likes someone, she'll give hints with romantic gestures or small gestures of love. Compliments, giving gifts, taking them out on dates(although she won't explicitly say it's a date.) And with her lovers? It's a whole different story.

With a partner, she's up front about her affection. Maybe it's sultry whispers in their ear, or flirty gestures. Evangeline is also a very flirtatious woman, and she's shameful about it. She thinks someone is hot? She's going to let them know. One of her favorite things is to flirt with her friends, getting as sultry as possible. She loves it when they do it back. It doesn't necessarily mean she's into them, but it's just in her nature. Evangeline is incredibly observant, she always notices if someone's in a bad mood or if something is off. This doesn't mean she'll try to cheer them up, though. She is quite intuitive, and is rarely wrong when she makes an assumption or feels like something isn't right.

Evangeline can be viewed as an opinionated person. While she doesn't force her opinions onto others, she will voice them even if the person has a completely opposite view. She is a very patient and lenient person, she is the type of person to sit there and explain something to someone for the 100th time without snapping at them. She's the kind of friend who waits for you to tie your shoes while everyone else continues on.

Evangeline is generally liked by most people she meets, but of course, there's people who dislike her. She will act as if she doesn't care that someone dislikes her, but really, it hurts her. In her mind, she's a likable person. Upon meeting new people, she is quiet but does try to make things less awkward and throw in some random comments. But with people she knows well and is close with, Evangeline doesn't shut up. She will go on and on about the most random topics for hours.

Evangeline is calm, gentle, and relaxed. Perhaps it's due to her constantly working with animals, but she doesn't really make sudden movements or raise her voice. Its hard to get her to snap, although she does let her frustration show sometimes. Her touches and her movements are always soft and gentle as to not startle people, as well as her voice.

She used to be a natural ash blonde, but her genetics of brown hair has slowly been altering appearance throughout her teens and twenties. Personality:

Maddie is a social butterfly willing to talk to anyone in her path. She is very humble and a mediator type of friend. She listens to both sides of the bickerment or argument. She wants to find a compromise to end the tricky situation that pickle her mind. She is a listener to others people's problems, but she rarely speaks of her own. Her loyalty for her friends is unquestionable but may be overlooked to her recent of fame without mentioning her friends and family. She is very much has gained a trait of being impatient with problems that shouldn't be a problem. She is resourceful and has street smarts that she never has lost touched of due to her child hood. She has learned to adapt to her environment and mirror what people expect her to be. With her fame and surrounding herself with superb superstars she has lost her true personality. Though she has gained to be a cunning charismatic to get her way. She learned that being in top that she could not be weak or it will be the cost of her down fall. She has lost her romantic side from a teenager after many flings with men and women that just ruined her sense of love. Maddie has became insecure about herself with looks and mentality. Maddy was born into a low income family. It was poverty life going to public school having the dirty work down clothes. As most of her life it was handy me downs that she got from her older brothers. Yes a girl that wore her older brother's clothes. She had a determination to get out of there. She fully shone her way through school with high grades and stellar athletic performance. Maddy then got accepted for a full ride scholarship to play soccer and basketball. She has been studying law and criminal justice and has plans to be a lawyer or FBI agent. She has had brand deals for advertising brands for her sports. But her richest came from modeling for designers. Though with her style of upbringing she doesn't really know what to do with this money. She does not know whether to splurge or invest or save. So she is bind of splurging and saving at the moment. She has found herself in a beach house with old time friends and she is finally finding her old oneself trying to get rid of the fame of her name.
