Heres a project I had to do for school. I rolled dice, then wrote a story based off of my results. - - - I am just a mere water droplet. Nothing special about me. There are plenty of others just like me. But if you insist, then this is my story: I started off in a plant. I could say I’m quite lucky. I got to feed the plant and keep her strong. Although I’m afraid this didn’t last long, for I was evaporated by the sun and eaten by a cloud. Me and this cloud were stuck with eachother for a while, and we grew close. One day I upset her. I don’t know what I said, but it clearly hurt her feelings. She cried and cried, and eventually, out I went. Into the river I fell. The river leaked into a lake where I soon was absorbed into the ground. I have a long residement in the ground. I made quite a few friends there. My favorite of course has to be Wayne. Wayne was a worm. He didn’t say much, but he never bothered to drink me. He left me alone and chose others. I will always appreciate him for that. The ground became warm, and I could no longer stay below the surface. I would dry out and die. I had to leave. I made my way back towards the surface, and reemerged in the lake, where I stayed for a few days, before the heat finally got to me. I was again evaporated. But I cannot complain. I was reunited with my first real friend. I apologized to her, but apparently my apology was not enough and she yet again spit me out. Her tears were salty, but the rain didn’t last for long. Back to the ground I go. This time I land just above the dirt. I made way way along the cracks of the dirt, all the crevices I could drip through, trying to find somewhere to go. Alas, my home. It was in sight. My plant friend spread her leaves in a welcoming manner and welcomed me home as if one of her children. I hope to never leave her again.
