The whispering winds of the night blew through the young womans hair as she sat in the seat of her motorbike. Crystal blue eyes shining against the moonlit stars. This was her time away.. From everything. She absolutely hated her father, though, she enjoyed how much freedom she got with him being the way he was. The young woman then dismounted the bike before walking toward the rather nice-looking house. Though they may have been low-lifes, her father made quite a lot of money. Earning a name for himslf in this town through that.

As she entered the house, she was bombarded by some of the children of the gang. Smiling gently to herself. "Hey guys," she stated softly. The woman then headed toward her room. Walking up the stairs and down the rather long corridor.

It wasn't long before she was stopped by her father."I need you to do something for me." He stated, looking at his daughter with that glint in his eyes. That glint of michief. "What is it?" she asked, folding her arms across her chest. The man stepped forward and roughly grabbed the young woman by the chin, "Don't give me that attitude, Forest Marie.." he growled. The young woman would only roll her eyes and shove his hand away. "I only asked what you needed, Father.." Forest would mention. The older man would only grumble beneath his breath as he pinched the bridge of his nose, "I need you to do a sale." he stated. Forest seemed surprised by her fathers words, her eyebrows raising a bit. "A sale? Me?" she asked, her father only nodded. Forest smirked and shrugged, "Sure, why not." she agreed, holding her hand out to have the drug placed into th palm of it.

"Don't fuck this up." He'd say rather bluntly. Forest only nodded slightly and then turned on her heel, heading back down the steps and back out the door to her motorbike.

After about a twenty minute ride, she was where the deal was supposed to happen. She had the stuff shoved into her jacket so it was out of sight and began to play on her phone. It was rather funny, this was. The sherriff talked so highly of himself, and he doesn't even have night patrol out to stop stuff like this from happened. At least I'm getting paid.. She thought to herself with a small sigh as she sat there.

"Ah, he sent his precious daughter this time, did he?" said a voice coming from the alleyway near by. "Just come get your shit and pay me," she spoke before hearing a click of a gun. Shit! she thought before going to draw her own gun before hearing the words "Put your hands in the air where I can see 'em!" Forests heart raced as she put her hands in the air, only to deter herself from getting shot. "Wow, you are smart.. Well, at least your boss is," she mentioned with a chuckle as she was ordered to get off of her bike. "Shut up," sounded a voice from behind her as he yanked her arms behind her back and put them in handcuffs. Forest shook her head a bit, "I shoulda known, but, my father won't let this happen, just so ya know." she stated with a small laugh as she was escorted to the police car.

After about a ten minute ride to the station, Forest was put in an interrogation room, where her cuffs were released and her gun, and phone were taken. Wow.. My luck tonight.. She thought to herself befor just sitting down, figuring she shouldn't waste her energy right now.

Now.. I play the waiting game..

Sorry for the short reply, do not feel well at the moment.

-
A young, lanky man was slouching forward, elbows on his knees. His nimble fingers typed quickly into the dark-cased phone. His tan, oval face lit up in a bright blue light. His thick eyebrows ceased in a look of determination. His raven-black hair fell over his dark eyes. Of course he had been informed recently about his father's once again
miraculous arrest. He really didn’t have a care in the world about that sort of thing. Especially with how highly his father was talked about when he was just there as the quiet kid who was pushed to live up to such a stupid legacy. He really didn't feel the need to be a cop or sheriff in his father’s case.

"Zavior, quit messing around; you should have been there at the arrest today."

His hair flung messily across his now dull expression as he flipped his head upward. Brown eyes met the older man’s black ones. He quickly corrected his posture, straightening his back and raising his shoulders. His nimble hands turned off the device. His father was the sheriff of the small town; most everyone loved him, while all the bad guys wished to dispose of him.

"It's time for you to interrogate your first kid."

Zavior mumbled something under his breath as he stood up. He knew better than to tell the man what he was thinking or saying. He watched as the older opened his mouth to say something in reply to his murmurs. However he just walked past him and left for the interrogation room. A nod from the security guard told him he was allowed to go into the room. So he pulled open the door with a small, fake smile plastered on his face. He waltzed over and took a seat in the chair across from the young lady.

"Hi there, my names Zavior. What about yours?"

He looked over her features. Her black hair and light skin. He truly didn’t want to do this right now, but this was his time to prove himself to the police force. Maybe he would no longer be useless after this?

(It's okay!)

Fiddling with her fingers, Forest grew bored of sitting there and waiting. Her weight soon leaned forward as she went to stand up before she heard footsteps approaching the door. Crystals looking up and over at the door as she allwoed her weight to rest back down into the chair. She waited, staring at the door for a minute. But, no one came in. Grumbling, Forest went to get up once more before the door swung open and a young man walktzed in, sitting in the chair across the table from her.

"Hi there, my names Zavior. What about yours?"

The words went in one ear and out the other as she stared hastily at the man. Her crystal blue eyes seemingly piercing through him. "That.. Isn't anything you will get to know.." she stated as she leaned back to rest her back on the chair. Forest didn't have a care in the world to talk to Zavior. Nor did she care to answer any questions of his or others. The young woman then crossed her arms across her chest and stared across the table at him, an emotionless look plastered onto her facial features. "Let us cut to the chase here, shall we?" she asked, leaning forward now as her lips pursed for a moment before she continued to talk, "You're boss knows damn well what my father will do to this place when he finds out I am here.." she trailed off, smirking, she then just laughed slightly before standing up and walking over to the darkened window.

The woman then knocked on it, "Hey, Ol' man, I know you're in there! How come you're too much of a pussy to come in here and talk to me yourself? Huh?!" she yelled a bit before shaking her head and then walking back toward the table, But, this time she circled around to Zavior's side. "Too bad you're a cop.. You're kinda cute.." she grinned as she flirted with the young man. "Though.." she trailed off, messing with his hair a bit, "You're not my type anyways," she laughed a bit before walking toward the door, as if she knew something were about to happen..

It was then she heard her fathers voice outside. "Where is she?!" he yelled. Forest grinned and beat on the door before backing away from it. She heard guns being drawn, knowing pretty much the full gang of over 100 people were here behind her father. "I told you, dumbass.." she grinned before she heard footsteps coming to the door. Forest soon looked over at Zavior, "See ya later, Cutie.." she winked at him before the door was busted in by her father. Her gang had the entire place handled, she just hoped these cops weren't stupid enough to shoot. "Forest, let's move!" Her father yelled, gently grabbing her shoulder as they walked. Some of the other older woman gathered her things nd were already outside, whilst the men of the gang were inside, guns drawn. Her father then stopped and kicked in the door to the room that the sherriff was in, "Are you stupid man?!" he yelled, grumbling. "You're lucky I don't shoot you dead! And your little son you had interrigating her too!" Forest grew confused, "Dad, lets go, why waste time on him? He's nothing but a man with a stick up his ass!" she yelled. Forests father just nodded and they ran out of the police station quickly. The men following. Forest mounted onto her fathers bike behind him and they soon zoomed off into the early morning.

A few hours later.. The gang was settled down and Forest was asleep. She had only gotten about two hours of sleep before she woke up. Rubbing her tired eyes, she got up and get ready for her day. Even though, she knew her father wouldn't allow her to go anywhere, but, she had her ways. Behind the mansion, was a small stable with her mothers horse in it that was gifted to her. Forest walked outside and saddled up the mare before riding her out and back into the trails of the forest that surrounded the small town. She knew no one was stupid enough to come out this way. At least she hoped not. She hadn't been out riding in a bit.

Not too long after she had left, her father called the sherriff, "Old friend! I'm calling to make you a deal.." he stated. "I turn myself in, you leave my little girl alone.." he mentioned, clenching his jaw in regret of his words.

“That isn’t anything you will get to know.”

A soft sigh escaped his soft lips. She was one of those, a wanna be badass gangster. How he hated those over the moon confident people. They always act like they’re invincible to the world. Then out of their dismissal the world comes crumbling down all around em and they blame everyone else. He studied her blank expression waiting for any hint of human emotion, something to tell him she may need help and wanted to turn straight. Or what people call the right path these days.

“Let’s cut us cut to the chase here, shall we?”

He sat straight in his seat, one of his tan hands rested on the table, pointer finger tapping in a repeating motion. Soothing his on edge nerves.

“You’re boss knows damn well what my father will do to this place when he finds out I’m here..”

He tilted his head slightly trying to seem more welcoming to the young women. “Oh, and what might be that?” He asks with a mellow tone. Smile ceased to exist on his now expressionless face. His eyes followed her swift movements as she made her way to the window. It was obvious she had been through this before and knew damn well someone was on the other side of that one way glass. He grimaced at how she ignored him so bluntly. Then he started to wonder how much that tinted window could withstand as he heard a clink on the most likely cold window.

“Hey Ol’ man, I know you're in there! How come you're too much of a pussy to come in here and talk to me yourself? Huh?!”

“You ain’t gonna get no response young lady.” He repeated a line his father once used. He had watched the sheriff interrogate one to many since he was around 6. The sheriff was just a normal Ol’ cop at that time. Now he was the cop supposedly following in his fathers footsteps.

He raised his eyebrows at her nonchalantly as she waltzed back over to the round table. Safety precautions and all kept it from having any corners and having it be screwed into the floor. He noticed how she didn’t stop at the opposite chair of him and walked round to his side. He knew the cops outside the door would be ready to rush inside if she started to try to put him in a choke hold. His hand found its way onto his holster, he ready to stand up.

“Too bad you’re a cop.. You’re kinda cute,”

He didn’t know whether to be impressed she actually was trying to flirt with a cop or consider throwing her into a cell already and not get any Information out of her. Not like she had much to tell them with her small ass brain.

“Though..”

He was about to slap her hand away from his hair, but something in him didn’t let him. Instead he just froze, maybe out of fear, desire, or just not knowing what to do in this situation.

“You're not my type anyways,”

He did a small chuckle at her as she waltzed away. She enjoyed toying with him a bit too much. So he decided two can play at that game. “Thank heavens, you definitely ain’t my type either.” Again she ignored his remark, however he didn’t care. This time a bit glad as his words would have not been half as good if she did respond. He knew she was winning this and you could tell she knew that as well. Was his emotions that easy to read? He rose to from his seat quickly. The rest of the scene that played out before him was quick, too quick. Everything she had then said was a mumble to his ears, his brain stopped functioning completely. In seconds the door was busted in. At least 10 guns were drawn at him instantly. His shaky hands shook violently as he lifted them above his head in surrender. He felt the blood drain from his face, everything a daze. He then opened his mouth to speak and the lump in his throat cut him off from getting out any words. The station was easily outnumbered if 10 members had their guns drawn on just him. He should have never let the teen go into her own world. Maybe he would then have been able to control the situation a fair bit better. It wasn’t long until the gang had left. He stood there shooken for quite a bit longer than those nutjobs stayed at the station. He then slowly walked out of the dimly lit, gray interrogation room.

A few hours later..

He sat in an uncomfortable wooden chair in the sheriff's office. Currently the police and his pop were checking the 3 block perimeter for any signs the gang was still nearby. His elbows on the arm rests on the chair. Fidgeting with his hands that rested on his lap. His eyes scanned the tan room. Pictures of good times with his father and now deceased mother were framed against the thick walls. Those pictures flooded his thoughts with many memories. Those times definitely passed him and his pop a long while ago.

The door to the room suddenly flung open. It hit the wall with a hard thud. He flinched, breath hitched in the back of his throat. He knew exactly who it was, who wouldn’t? So he kept his brown orbs diverted to the wooden floor.

“Zavior that was hardly an interrogation! Haven’t you learned anything?!” The man’s clenched fist punched the table, as he leaned over it to get a better look or glare at the young man in front of him. Who was grinding his teeth against each other. “Dammit son! Man up and look me in my eyes!” The young man scrunched his nose before his brown eyes met his pop’s blacks. Their eyes both glaring at each other. “What do you want me to say?” Zavior let out a short, annoyed sigh in between his sentences. “I am sorry I tried?! That my father has a bad relationship with someone? let me remind you who I don’t know!” He stood up no longer fidgeting instead anger coursed through his lanky body. The sheriff growled under his breath at the boy. “I have teached you much and you still know nothing!” The sheriff yelled harshly, the younger turning his attention to a corner in the room. He then looked back at his father. “I am sorry I am not you. But-” Zavior was cut off by the desk phone ringing, so the older man picked it up to his ear.

“911 what is your emergency?”

The young man noticed how his fathers face changed to a harsher one, his eyes darting to the window. As he pressed the speaker button.

“What’s the catch?”

“Y’know deal.”

“However there are requirements on your end that go for me as well.”

“You meet my son at the park. He will be by himself as you should be.”

Once the sheriff hung up the phone he noticed his son’s expecting eyebrow at him. “Geez, thanks.” The young man crossed his arms. “Love stepping into these situations by myself.” This was a trap, yet his father wanted revenge to the point he was going to risk his son.

This is fucked up

"You meet my son at the park. He will be by himself as you should be."

Hearing this, the man nodded, "Alright, we have a deal then." he mentioned before hanging up the phone. It was then he called Forest, but the phone went straight to voicemail.

"Honey.. I just wanted to tell you something I should've been telling you ever since your mother died.." He trailed off as he spoke into the phone. "I love you, Forest, I really do, and I'm so sorry I haven't been a better dad to you.." at this point, the man was holding back tears. "I won't be here when you get back.." The man then hung up the phone, wiping the tears that managed to fall off of his fae before walking out. Everyone was busy doing their own thing, and wasn't paying a bit of attention to him. He walked straight out the door and to his bike. Driving off to the park. It was early morning, so not one person was here yet. He just hoped Forest would recieve his message..

As he got there, he noticed the boy from earlier, the one who interrogated his daughter. "Gosh, you've grown boy.." he spoke aloud to him, "How do we wanna do this? You wanna cuff me or can I just willingly follow you?" he asked, following whatever Zavior wished to do.

After a few hours, Forest finally arrived home and got her mare settled in before seeing she had a voicemail. As soon as she heard her dads voice, her eyes widened and she began booking it towards the house as she listened to it. "Dad! Dad!" she yelled. Even though she hated her father, she still cared for him, he was her father. Forest bursted into his room, not seeing him their and then turned to walk back toward the stable. She tacked her mare back up and took the short way through the woods to the station. Coming into town and around the front of the station rather quickly.

Pushing off of the saddle and jumping off of the back of her horse, landing on her feet, she rushed into the station, "Where is he?" she asked, her eyes burning into the front desk ladys eyes. "Ms- Wait! She's here!" the woman yelled. Forest grumbled and turned, seeing the sherriff come out of his office. She began walking toward the door as he stood there. "Where is he old man!" she yelled. Before he could even answer, she lobbed him a good one across the face, "I said where is he!?" she yelled into his ear. Forest knew she had guns drawn on her now, but she didn't care.

"I know you have him! So it's either tell me where he is or I'll have every single one of you killed!" she yelled, her chest heaving at this point.
