Tears,
It's hard to know how to lengthen it without the context, but generally restating the question helps pad things out

I guess I can try, the issue is just so heavily how simple these responses actually are, like right now I just need to list what properties from the text make wood good for building and what makes it bad for building, that's it

I'm on a question right now that only needs two short sentences to reply and they are such simple sentences, like I fully do not know how I could write them to make them fuller

Ramble. For literature, I used to just fluff up my sentences. If you can, try to use long sentences with commas etc so extend it. Even explaining the same thing twice but with different terminology could work.

I genuinely need help

How the hell do I "write two paragraphs using terminology from the text" to answer questions that only need like 1 sentences replies, I'm genuinely about to cry right now, I don't know how I'm supposed to write 2 paragraphs each when all these questions need like only a sentence, some of them maybe two

I say this every time I come back from a hiatus, but this time because I don't have a lot going on writing-wise and my classes are very slow right now, I do plan to actually get back into the RP scene and be around a lot more often. I have 3 RP concepts I'm sitting on currently, and need help deciding which one to bring to a forum! I will only be doing one.

All will be relatively small; Shifting Sands will not exceed 8 characters. Whiteout will not exceed 6. Fated Flight will start with 4 mandatory + 1 optional role, potentially opening up companion slots as the story progresses (will have a travel companion/guard slot open; role won't be an NPC).*

Concept One: Shifting Sands
A small, nomadic horse herd roams a vast desert that is constantly changing. The herd has long followed an ancient migration route through the sands, but something strange has begun to happen—the desert itself seems to be alive. Landmarks vanish, water sources dry up or move, and sometimes strange phenomena (like mirages or echoes) seem too real to be ignored.
The herd members must navigate this living desert, not only fighting for survival but trying to uncover the mystery behind its strange behavior. Is the desert cursed? Is there something deeper happening beneath the sands? And can the herd continue to survive if they can no longer trust the land they live on?

Concept Two: Whiteout

A sled dog team has been devastated by a brutal snowstorm deep in the wilderness. Their musher and most of their packmates have perished, leaving four dogs alive but stranded in the harsh, unforgiving wild. Cold, hungry, and lost, the remaining dogs must find a way to survive without the guidance of their human or the strength of their full pack.

As they struggle to adjust to life without their musher, they encounter two young wolves—siblings who have recently left their birth pack to establish themselves. Though distrustful of the sled dogs at first, the wolves recognize that banding together may increase all of their chances of survival. The two groups—domesticated dogs and wild wolves—must navigate this fragile alliance while facing the harsh realities of nature, predators, and dwindling resources.

The surviving dogs must decide: do they fight to return to civilization, or do they adapt to their new life in the wild with their newfound companions?

Concept Three: Fated Flight

Five hundred years ago, two mighty dragons and their riders disappeared during a great battle to defend their kingdom from an ancient evil. Legends say the dragons were turned to stone by a powerful curse, trapped in time until the right moment for their return. Over the centuries, the story faded into myth, and the location of the stone dragons was lost.

In the present day, two adventurers (the new dragon riders) unintentionally stumble upon the ancient stone dragons deep within a forgotten mountain cave. At their touch, the stone shatters, and the dragons awaken from their centuries-long slumber, forming a sudden and unbreakable bond with their new riders. What the adventurers don’t realize is that this act fulfills an ancient prophecy—their fates are now intertwined with the dragons, and they are destined to fight the same looming evil that once turned the dragons to stone.

However, the world has changed drastically in the 500 years the dragons have been asleep, and neither the dragons nor the riders are fully prepared for what awaits them. Old enemies have resurfaced, and new threats loom on the horizon. Together, the dragons and their riders must uncover the truth behind the curse, discover their purpose in this new world, and decide if they are ready to accept the prophecy—or forge their own path.

*RP takes inspo from D&D, so instead of NPCs, any additional roles will be members of the party that do affect how the story plays out!
