personally, when i'm looking for studs i typically don't breed anything over G2 :) unless the female i'm breeding is higher gen than that of course.

G1 is very cool for breeding more G2s but from the creator's side you miss out on ~1 year of breeding and its a bit more of a costly pain to get a nice defect from wolf party in the first place lolll (I don't like gambling party) G2 is definitely my go to.

I only do CL breedings, actually prefer g2 but only if they have a good history in their bloodline. I'll do a g1 if they have good weather/weight stats on top of their defect/boost or if they have dual defect/boost I'll jump on it quick.

i find that G2 seems more reliable for traits / boosts / defects to pass down, as stats of the pup rely on the grandparents as well. However, having a G1 does tend to make the generations simple and clear to keep track of and presents a less messy overall feel.
