what is something children (talkin 0-8) hold dear to them, however is not usually influenced by their surroundings or parental units that is NOT their stuffed animal.

by this i mean they child gets to make all the decisions about it, like its name, gender, etc.

by not influenced by environment i mean that if a child's parents have gone through a divorce, the child is more likely to roleplay a divorce with their toys. because that's how they learn and/or cope

and by parental influence i mean that parents usually choose "girly" clothes and toys for their daughter, and "boyish" clothes and toys for their son.

i want something that is completely unique to the child (that isn't their stuffed animal)
