Alpine Hills - You find yourself walking along a beaten path, wondering where it's leading you. Soon, though, the path turns, an old sign appearing ahead of you. It reads, 'Welcome to Alpine Hills'. You continue walking, and the trees open before you, revealing a small town in a valley with cabins, shops, fields, and more. - Welcome to Alpine Hills! Alpine Hills is a game that I used to play IRL with my friends, and I decided to bring it to WP, and is Co-hosted by Bobcat! This is an RP-adopt. - - Rules - 1. Please be in character. This is an RP, not a conversation or interactive adopt. I will have a separate forum for talking and discussing, like a normal RP. 2. No anthro, human, or humanoid. This is specifically for animals, feral, mythical, any type. 3. Keep your responses PG. While some blood and gore stuff is fine, I'd like to keep it to a minimum 4. Art. I will put credits at the bottom of the page if it has art. If you plan on putting the art in your bio or TH or something, put the credits that are at the bottom of the page. 5. If you have any questions, PM me. 6. Follow all the rules that Eve set out. 7. Have fun! - Key - 1. Currency. This is a free RP-adopt, and the currency will be gems, each character starting out with 50 gems. No need to pay me for art. 2. Handbooks. There are handbooks, yes. Healer, scout, monster hunter, potions master, and wanderer. I will have each one written down, each character choosing one to take with them to help on their adventures. 3. Pets. You can have pets to follow you around and give you cool effects. There are 10 elements: Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Lightning, Metal, Death/Dark, Life/Light, Ice, and Stone. A pet is assigned one of these elements, each with its own effects based on species, element, and where they are found. You will also get a pet to start out with, all common with little effects, but they will help you on your quests! 4. Monsters. Going along with pets, monsters are assigned one of 10 elements with its own effects. Monsters can be tamed, and once tamed will help you out on your journey. 5. Items. You can buy and sell items to shopkeepers and other players, earning you gems. Tools, weapons, potions, food, anything like that is considered an item. - Starter Pets Starter pets will be of the main 4 elements, Fire, Earth, Water, and Wind -

Wispy Fox Common : Wind + 5 Sneak + 5 Silence + Levitation + Bite Found on high mountains at cloud level Eats birds (Particularly Slow birds) 
Scuba Dino Common: Water +5 Swim speed +5 strength +5 sturdiness -5 Agility -5 Stealth (Tall dino) Found in River heads and reeds, the more pure, the more likely. CABINS - As you enter, more and more cabins dot the land before you, some on the mountian side, some in the deep valley. An arctic fox walks up to you, her tail waving to and fro. "Hello there." She says in a quiet voice. "I am Frost, the Cabin Master here at Alpine Hills. Please follow." She leads you to a large cabin, and walks in, stepping behind a desk and handing you a clipboard before going back to work on the desk. Pack Name and Number: Tonneoshet ° 286305 Character Name: Kieran Blackwood ° Character's appearance description: Kieran is what you might describe as your typical everyday raven. He stands at 25 inches tall with a wingspan of approximately 46 inches. His feathers are dark, near black yet give off a blue-ish coloured sheen in the right lighting. He wears a black and purple mushroom hat which has a few moon shaped and bone shaped charms that hang from silver chains around its rim. He carries most of his belongings in a small black leather back pack which has a roll of cloth hung underneath which allows him to create a small tent-like structure along his travels. ° Character's personality: Kieran is quite a sight to behold. Despite his means of being a wanderer, selling his wares he finds along his travels, his attitude isn't exactly what anyone would call welcoming or friendly. Kieran often uses mockery and heavy sarcasm when speaking to others, usually saying what's on his mind without giving it a second thought. This leads most he encounters to think of him as rather blunt and incredibly rude. He loves to joke around and sometimes plays pranks on others he meets along his travels. His favourite being his spreading of false rumours of monsters or ghouls that usually scare people off. He over exaggerates a lot of his stories, always painting himself out to be some kind of hero when in reality, he is nothing but an easily scared coward. (Not that he would ever admit to such because of his pride.) ° Despite his questionable attitude, Kieran usually shows some level of concern in his own messed up way. He hides behind a mask of indifference, aloofness and sarcasm, but he understands he can come off as a rather horrible being. Occasionally, he will find it in himself to let the mask down to apologise to someone when he knows he has done something wrong or even to attempt comforting others if they're in distress... Though he does suck at it. ° Handbook: Wanderer Handbook Pet: Bush Cat ° Relations: Falthyr Blackwood (Father) The one who raised Kieran alone. Falthyr was also a wanderer back in his day, but is now retired, he was often cold and hard towards Kieran, so the relationship is a little strained now. Falthyr is a very old Raven with many grey feathers and lives alone in his tree in Blackwood forest. ° Anika Blackwood (Mother) Anika was killed during Kieran's early times after hatching. ° Other: |

Appearance: (Forgive my inexpertise in this area. I had to search a lot of these facts up.) Meliora is, compared to many others of her kind, large for a falcon - weighing 1.6 kilograms, and a length of around 60 centimeters (gah. 24 inches.). She has a dark gray back - unlike a significant majority of others, her breast and underside has a shade of slightly off-white colouration throughout. With a wingspan reaching 120cm (okay fine - 48 inches), on top they are the same flush dark grey that her back is. On the underside, it is more speckled, with intersecting white and (slightly lighter) grey. Her head and beak is still typical to her variant of the species - a bluish-grey beak resolving in the yellow around it. Her crown is markedly similar to the colouring of her back, although slightly lighter.

Personality:
Meliora has an inner pride in things she does. Occasionally fussy about one thing or another, she takes great pride in being... slightly smarter than everyone else.
She can often appear slightly aloof from other things happening around her. Yet, even when she does this, she's listening to everything you say and do, and filing it away. While she has a literal bird-brain, that doesn't mean that, since she's a intelligent animal, she's not the same as all other falcons. Like said earlier, she takes pride in not being one. This results in her intellect being higher than many would expect. After all, who would expect that bird sitting on the tree outside your house to actually know and understand what they see through the window? Meliora is also mostly loyal to a fault. Sometimes she won't process that what she has been told is wrong, or that she probably shouldn't do it. She has an independent streak, but to those that she truly trusts, she is loyal to. To most others, like just stated, she can have an independent streak. Flying off randomly for no given reason, seemingly just to annoy them - however she usually will have a reason for it. Even if it annoys them, she will have an ulterior motive for it. She's smarter than you think, after all. ~~~ Let's see if you can guess why I chose these animals. XD Handbook: Scout
